    I am also having the same problem as Meagan with only one stitch at the end of the second row

    • @crochetcabin6160
      @crochetcabin6160  7 месяцев назад +2

      When we start the first row, we make a double crochet into the second chain, so the previous chain act as a single crochet. That's what you can do. When you have your chains, mark with a stitch marker your first chain from the hook and then, go into the second chain and make a double crochet like I showed in the video. That chain when we start and the one, we made when we turn our work it's our single crochet, and it's not easy to see. I hope I have been of help to you.

    I love this scarf and will be making one soon with the same yarn. Did you use one skein?

    • @crochetcabin6160
      @crochetcabin6160  8 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you very much. I used 2.45oz/69gr of yarn. One skein is 5oz/142gr, so I think you can make 2 of the same size I showed in the video 😊

    Having a bit of confusion, newbie here. When i get to the end of the 2nd row you show, i dont have the rifht number of stitches to skip one and so a single crochet into the last one. Things worked out of the first row so Im perplexed.

    Hi. It’s 31” so if I wanted to adapt this for a fur baby with a 23” neck, what size would you recommend I do?

      Hello @ruthbriddon7941. For the length of the scarf, I would try it on while working.

    hi, i'm having the same problem two people have commented. at the end of my second row (the one that starts here 3:44) i have one stitch left and i don't know what to do since i'm following the same steps as you 🤔 what can i do? should i just finish with a single crochet?

    • @crochetcabin6160
      @crochetcabin6160  3 месяца назад +1

      The pattern, from the second round on, starts always with a chain that represents a single crochet and finishes every round with a single crochet. I hope it helps.
