Looking at just a few of the comments here, I'm so pleased that so many people are appreciating Brian Entin's reporting style and content. He is so succinct and professional, yet he demonstrates compassion and empathy. There's a warmth about him which is seldom evident in others' reports. What's weird that 24 Idaho FBI agents, State Police, Governor with his $1 mill and Moscoe Police cannot find killer(s). But Moscow ID coroner is having conflict of interests while working for the State but having her private firm in downtown of Moscow protecting killers. If they all will not find killer(s), then any students/parents would be very stooopid to attend University of Idaho at all in the future.

My dad is a former Inspector/Detective with the Chicago PD (23 years homicide) and 4 weeks ago he said it beyond his comprehension how the Moscow Police didn't extend the police taping 1/4 of a mile (perimeter) around the home. And *DUH* of course the Perp went in the back way and escaped behind the home. Before the new covered snow they would have found blood stains and spots all over that forested hill.. And that white Nissan car may indeed exist but it's a "GHOST CAR" The likelihood that the killer actually arrived and left in it is 1 in 100 .. My dad said the logistics and proximity of the car as it pertains to the home make no sense assuming the perpetrator escaped behind the house. As my dad said this killer it logically and intellectually proficient in every aspect.. They may never find this person.

Are you American? I noticed it's harder for some foreigners to grasp this epidemic but we have always had a serial killer problem in america, always!!!
It goes back to the ax murdering days of the 1800s and then what the Americans did to the natives (war rape happens everywhere but it was really bad with those little native girls)
We just have a very disgusting history and culture that we PRETEND isn't a thing so you see how the level of Pretending has breed serial killers who find it easy to operate within the systemic society because Americans tend to be very systemic. This is a cultural issue, I believe. There is a reason why certain groups are targeted and more likely to not fight back and so forth. Because they operate within a SYSTEM
(call the police, don't fight back, etc)
We are such a systemic group of people that emotion and compassion has literally been breeded out of us so what you see today is the game of America turned up to "10" and with more cameras to report on it, that's all. But Culture isn't easily changed so until the next Mass killing event takes place in America, I hope you learned a little something! 🖤👽💚

Many young adults are falling prey to current fads of being infatuated with murder, sadomasochism, Satanic rituals and online fortune-telling (that now instruct them what to do to actually fulfill their readings). Fights, bullying, grooming, catphishing are at all-time highs. I have never seen this level of hatred, anger, and rage as is currently being witnessed in our schools. Parents need to search the history of their children's devices and cut off all questionable influences. As a society, we're there.

It's almost always been assumed, even from LE and family, that the perp came in through the BACK sliding glass door, which would be the 2nd/middle level 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
    This is important to remember:
Looking at the front door, both of those windows on each side of the front door is a seperate bedroom. That is the 2 bedrooms for the 2 surviving roommates. The layout of the home isn't a simple design that a random person walked into and just randomly killed everyone in the bedrooms they randomly passed. Xana and Ethan's room door isn't easily seen and it's way closer to the 1st level stairs than the 3rd level stairs.

    • @ct5625
      @ct5625 Год назад +2

If the killer saw 4 people enter through the sliding door he would only know of 4 victims. He would have easily been able to work out that there was another bedroom while committing this crime and it wouldn't have been hard to find Xana's room. People are pretending this house is a maze when it isn't. If the killer found Maddie and Kaylee on the 3rd floor he knew Ethan and Xana were still in the house. It would take mere seconds to check the other two empty bedrooms and work out there was another.

@@ct5625 so I am assuming you believe that this was a random individual that watched the house that night and seen Ethan and Xana come home, missed the other 2 coming home and then seen Madi and kaylee come home? Okay lol lets go with your thinking then. I need said the home was maze and haven't heard it referenced as such. It's built into the side of a hill so yes the levels have thrown people off. But they are public floor plans to that home and when you come in through the back sliding door on the 2nd/middle level, you enter the kitchen. There's the kitchen wall to one side and dining area and windows on the other. Walking straight takes u to the right side steps to go upstairs where Madi and kaylee were, or u Also reach the left side steps to go down half a level and straight to more stairs to go to the 1st/lowest level, leading right to the front door and the other 2 surviving roommates. that half level steps I mentioned on the left side opposite of Madi and kaylee 3rd level steps, if u don't go straight to the 1st level floor, goes left down a hallway, one side is the full kitchen wall(why their room isn't seen) and the other side of the hall is a half wall bc it's leading below. Toto the go to xanas and Ethans room, he chose to not keep going straight where he knew more rooms were and a quick exit to the front door. He chose to turn and go down that closed off hallway to xanas room

I also didn't see a good place to park there on Walenta but I did not look up the road so I did not see the intersection there. Good work. I also think a car could have been waiting down behind the apartments on Linda Ln. which is also off of Taylor before you get to King and dead ends right behind the apartments. I don't think there is a fence or wall between the end of Linda and the apartments. It looked, from a video I saw from retired detective McDonough that you can walk through right towards the house. Sorry but why would he be willing to risk that in the front knowing college parties and people were out and about leaving for the night, that he’s going to just go in front of the house?’ Nah. Is the burn-out directly in front of 1122 related?: 7 trim levels of the 11-13 Elantra GLS and the Elantra Limited were available in a 6-Speed Manual (stick-shift) and a 6-Speed Automatic. Was it a manual Elantra that left some rubber on the road right in front of the driveway of 1122? If that was a burnout from the Elantra it is likely a manual (and not an automatic with traction control). Might be another way to narrow down the large list of VINs because there are far fewer manual transmissions.
There are only 3 out of the 7 Elantra trim levels that have NAVIGATION. "I could be wrong" but the Elantra in the CCTV pic appears/looks to have the navigation antenna (shark-fin style, back of roof) ...and low profile tires only found on the 3 upper Elantra trim levels. That could also narrow down the bank of VINs for the DMV search.
It also "looks" as if it has fog lights instead of a black plastic "blank" in the front bumper! That also suggests that it is one of the 3 Elantra limited models.

There are also several frat brothers people are talking about as possible suspects that live or lived walking distance away. I listened to the end of body cam footage ( 3:12:40 am to 3:13:07) over and over because I can hear a single, clean scream like sound ( high pitched fairly short scream) at 3:12:45am and then starting around 3:12:55 a longer, deeper, fainter, drawn out fluctuating scream until around 3:13:02 am. I do not have a way to formally analyze it, but after listening to some scream sound effects on RUclips I am even more convinced that the attack might be caught on tape. Especially, because the first sound matched a high pitch ‘scared woman’s scream sound effect’ and the second sound matched a ‘man screaming in pain sound effect’. The police officer is talking over the second scream sound, so I do not know if there is a way to remove just their conversation and analyze it, but I wish someone would. It of course could be something else making the sound, but I have very good hearing and the second scream sound is definitely there.

@@roba.8907 What’s more is that I am pretty sure around 13:13:40 am I hear a low base like beat start up. It reminds me of hearing the heavy base from music when outside a vehicle or a building in which someone is playing that kind of music. Since the roommates or neighbor said they just thought it was ‘party sounds’, it really makes me wonder how well planned this attack might have been if those are in fact screams and music.
I wonder if Xena and Ethan would often play music in her room, if they did not want to be heard or interrupted. Putting music on in a second floor room would also mask the second attack on the third floor, assuming that was the order of events. Several people commented that the silence from the house was stranger than noise coming from it and so did the killer use that to their advantage?

The 6 girls living in that house were obviously friendly with many people as their rental was considered a "party" house and they frequently entertained. I am confident the police will expose the killer. However, with everyone assuming it was a lone occupant of a white Hyundai, they may be overlooking that the killer is right under their noses. Then he lurk into the back of the house waiting until they arrived..(maybe one of those trees at the backyard).. and when the 2 arrived unfortunately almost the same time the other 2 also arrived. but the killer didn't know which is which room, but he knows its upstairs, when they turn on the lights. when the lights off and waited for couple of minutes until they sleep. The killer makes its move unto the 3rd level of the house just open the doors when he sees it was the couple he immediately do the horrific thing. and then goes to another room.. its where he found the 2 ladies also murdered them..then slowly go out and vanished in the night.

0:16 ~ 0:35 That has been my theory all along. The perpetrator(s) went down through the wooded area, clambered up one of supports to the 3rd story deck, entered through the sliding glass doors located there (they were less likely to be locked because they weren't at ground level), killed the first two victims, then they proceeded down to the second floor where the 3rd & 4th victims were killed. After the perpetrator(s) objectives were achieved, they then left the premises the same way they entered. The 3rd floor sliding doors, to the deck, to the ground, then back through the woods.

Well, that getaway may have been captured on video! Remember the police cam footage of the cops busting underage drinkers in the sports field? Well, there were moving headlights spotted in the distance (somewhere above, behind, and slightly west of the murder house). I would say, at 03:19 of this video, Brian is standing in almost the exact spot where those headlights had to be shining from. If you look at the pictures from the front and the back door there are no blood marks of any kind on the door frames or doors, also it appears there are no drippings on the ground. With the scene being that horrific as they describe and blood dripping out the walls you would think that there would be some kind of trail of sorts leading out of the house.

This killer acted alone. That’s why it’s so hard to find him. The more people involved the greater the chance of someone talking.

I think the 2 downstairs occupants weren’t killed because the killer never went down stairs. Came through that sliding door on the second floor and went out it.

What if the killer’s lived in the house???

i am curious if Kaylee was the target did killer follow her from her family home 82 miles away that day?? I keep hearing "pre meditated" but if it was how would the killer had known she was going to be there that weekend?? Kaylee had just bought her 2016 range rover and her mother stated Kaylee was excited and wanted to go show Maddy and the other girls her new vehicle. Her mother also stated it was a last minute decision to go visit her friends that weekend and Kaylee had decided she was going to stay till Tuesday at the house. Kaylee had not been to the friends house since she recently moved out .

If you had just killed 4 people I bet you could make that trek in a bout 12 seconds. Not that it would make any difference. It could’ve taken them 30 minutes because nobody saw them anyways

The killer or killers left that town I really don't think someone in that town did it. To stab 4 people and not one of them get up from hearing noise to at least fight off the attacker my guess is this wasn't no amateur killer .
