21:50 black QF8 is an amazing move. It's a reverse forced mate. This amazing move literally forces *white* to mate *black*. That is, it creates a situation where white's only legal move is PxQ, checkmating black. I wonder if even the genius of Hikaru Nakamura is sufficient to set up a situation where you force your opponent to checkmate you. Please pause a moment to respect how remarkable that really is. I did not realize a move that bad was even possible.
@@KennethDudai think the only way this would be possible is it promoting is the only legal move and regardless of promotion its mate cause if the promotion is part of the mate then either queen or knight wouldnt make it a checkmate
Yeah. Finding bad moves is easy, but finding the absolute worst move that goes from having mate in 1 to forcing your opponent to mate you? Just impressive.

This might be the most sigma thing I've ever seen. Black relentlessly bullies white all game until he has about a dozen different ways to mate in one. But instead of taking the mate, black engineers a move so unfathomably bad that it literally forces white to win the game mate in one *against his will* no other move is legal for white. • Forces opponent to win on board or resign. • Refuses to elaborate. • Leaves.
