Thanks Jon! I’m glad someone did a full play thru on this! I ordered is early, thinking it would be one of the hotness of the year, but I haven’t seen a lot of buzz going around it! It definitely is my kind of game, and hope to get to play it soon!

The discolouration between the starting tile and other cards bugs me way more than there is any reason to. :)
At 4:57:00 you took a foodie bonus, even though you used a sand dollar action.

But the sand dollar action also lets you move one person by one space so i guess the movement action is still valid.
Very sharp game, already added to my - 'want to play' list :)
10:08 - I think you could also move two people around with 2 sand dollar power.
same with blue player at 11:46.
I guess that is optional, but might have helped some times.
And also already mentioned 4:31 - you do not get foodie bonus.
Good notes, it's a shame I missed those movement options. It did seem to me like moving was hard in this play, seems like that was more my fault than the games. I've added notes for each of these to the Klingon subtitles, thanks for pointing them out.
Great play thru, as always! I like this game very much, but am disappointed how that there was a lot of hype like this would be a top ten game of the year and after I got it, it just seemed to tank and vanish.
I really like the look but I’m not sure the flow of the game and iconography is as intuitive as one would expect from a game like this
FWIW this was my first play and I thought it flowed pretty well and had no issues with the icons. I was slightly overwhelmed with playing 3 players well with so many scoring conditions, but I expect that to be way more manageable when playing regularly.
