I recently found aespa from the show First Take, they performed Supernova and I marveled at their skill and talent. Then I saw the MV, and watched it again, and then I watched it again... I love them for being able to perform this song in real-time, no recording tricks, just 4 girls with microphones, performing the song live. Really talented musicians. Giselle is my favorite.
The mv is following the story of 3 members (the one lifting the car, the one flying and the one causing the fires) who are supernovas and their mission is to cause the other member (with the birthday) to explode, also turning her into a supernova. That's why there was like a lot of chaos in the ending. They all also have superpowers: Karina (the one with fangs): Super strength Winter (the blonde one): Flying abilities Ningning (the one who crashed the birthday): Fire control And Giselle's power, who gets her power after exploding, is time control. That's why her phone's time goes backwards before the dance break.

Finally someone that was able to get those synths during the whole "spacey" part, to me it was just mind-blowing when I heard it the first time, and then what really blew my mind was the chorus in like "Latino" rhythm vibe, the last part. This was a brutal production!!

2:30 what you mean by the different synths are probably just the hidden vocals and that spacey synth thing the spacey synth thing's patern is really weird and if it's combined with the hidden vocals it sounds hmmm hard to explain magical?

Ohhh very observant!! It's actually a CD/cassette player that I use in my studio as an amp to power some speakers! Behind me in the far left though you can see the edge of my record player in the metal box :)
