yes because i was watching pokemon green creepy pasta and i was looking all over for the song and i finally saw one of the comments and silent hill 2 piano song.
Silent Hill is an amazing game, I just wish that they used actual piano versions instead of the instruments they use for the in-game music, it would have made it way creepier!
Well, I listen to this every time we are in the car and pass a ghost town or an abandoned village. Then I imagine we have a car accident and we end up there lol.
This song always gives me a general feeling of unease, like I didn't do my homework or something. The kind of gut-drop feeling when something isn't right, like something is missing. It's fantastic and beautiful and eerie.
the thing I find beautiful about this piece is the ending of it. From where it stopped it can easily be picked up again, and be repeated from the beginning. It's as if it symbolizes loneliness and hopelessness. because, those emotions never really stop; they just keep on going. The ending isn't really an ending it's just a place to stop until those feelings of solitude return to haunt you again.
You look out into the distant fog. Your home feels slightly unsafe when you catch sight of it. A figure standing there. Blurry. But they're there. You blink and try to convince yourself that it's all in your head. They're still there, staring at you. You realize it's a reflection.
This song always gives me hope that no matter anyone has been going through , you can always try your best , fight your demons and in the end overcome , as a winner, a survivor . Life is a beautiful thing that connects us all with ways beyond our comprehension. We are so lucky , to be able to create music , it's almost crazy to think about it . Just remember , no matter how dark everything seems , there is always light in the end of the tunnel.
This song just reminds me of how strong depression and anxiety can be. Having the feeling that both all is lost but you can still see them. And others don’t see what you see in your eyes. They don’t know that what you see is deeper than the actual way they see it. They think that you feel alright but the pain is still devouring the soul in them. People say that the others that have pain are just trying to get attention....But there’s a reason why they need it. The song just reminds me of others that have depression and don’t know how to get out of it..... But remember guys....Never give up when you get this far.....
This is the DEFINITION OF A GOOD SONG. it really make me feel something. Idk why. It just makes me feel a certain sadness that nothing else makes me feel
I love how much higher pitched the song gets at 0:15. I love the original, but adding that higher octave just makes it seem so much more sad and hopeless.
This song is burned into my memory as a child. I remember watching my brother play it, and being so scared. The siren, the man with the metal pyramide head, and this one song. Such a great game.
I've always found this theme (or rather this recreation, really) to be way creepier than sad. Like it's signalling some kinda terrifying fate about to hunt you, like realizing something really terrible, slowly consuming your mind and going mindlessly insane but being in too much of a shock to actually do anything, just stay there in disbelief. Or the soundtrack to your death, just dying slowly and in loneliness in the middle of nowhere, regretting your past transgretions and not even attempting to make it through what's killing you, just accepting it and then slowly closing your eyes, for good. I guess that's sad in some ways, but it gives me goosebumps more than depress me.
That’s…oddly beautiful. I can see how this song gives off that vibe. It’s peaceful, and makes you feel like you’ve just overcome a great tragedy and found peace, with that peace being falling in love. Congratulations!
@@proctorritter5176 thank you! It was our favorite video game growing up (before we met) and we bonded over it a ton. So when it came time to get married, i wanted to tie it in. It became a promise of "you'll never have to go through your silent hill alone" kind of thing
This song brings such a beautiful, weird feeling to me. It reminds me of autumn, leaves falling, and covering the ground. Reminds me of a gorgeous gloomy day with a cold breeze while doing something fun and spooky with the one you love. This song transports me there to that moment and I can almost literally smell the air and feel the dampness of the beautiful October day...

This is so mesmerizing that i wanna cry.I cant describe my feelings enough but no need cause any person who is into this music would understand what im tryna say
Every song tells you a story, and everyone enterprets it differently, maybe based on a past experience or a feeling, and here's what this one is telling me is : "someone has finally got what they wanted but only when they stopped wanting it, like someone reached a goal they so long dreamt of then realized it was never worth the efforts and sacrifices, a soldier lost all his comrads for the sake of a mission and survived alone, somebody we loved for so long and bled for, for so long coming back after we're already numb and dead, like they're not real, some kind of silhouette that ment the world at that period of time and now it means nothing at all, and it's sad cuz your past self would trade the world for it. That lost promise was finally restored but only when it was too late......
Personally, and it might sound weird, but I get a feeling of knowing that I'll make it thru the dark storms in my life no matter how dire they may get.
Myuu, your compositions are honestly amazing, and have a sort of pacifying affect on me when I'm feeling down. They make me feel like I'm not the only one with the hurt I feel, and that other people get through it so I can too. the melodies give me the inspiration with which I make art, write, or compose music. Thanks for making your beautiful compositions, because they've been really helpful and inspiring to me!

This song hits me in the gut, and scaretheater uses this alot in his videos so when I first started playing silent hill 2 it was so familiar I got really shook up and after 1 hour of parinoia my brain put it together.
Silent Hill 2 will always be one of my favorite horror video games, especially all the OST, and your piano versions of the music from the game, and other video games, too.
Ah Silent Hill 2. One of the greatest masterpieces known to the horror franchise in my opinion. I will always cherish this game for how great it was. Nothing will top this for being my favorite game.
To me, this sounds more sad and mysterious than scary or creepy. Like I’m learning about or remembering some tragic incident that was forgotten for years.
Not sure if you ever played Silent Hill 2 but that is actually the exact point of the song. Really, the game is as much a tragedy as it is a horror piece.
"In my restless dreams i see that town... ..Silent hill.... You promised me you'd take me there again someday.... but you never did..... Well im alone there now.... In our "special place".. Waiting for you... Waiting for you to come and see me.. But you never do..And so i wait, wrapped in my cocoon of pain and lonliness. I Know ive done a terrible thing to you. Something you´ll never forgive me for I wish i could change that, but i can`t..... I love you James You made me happy./Mary"
i remember this scene in Silent Hill 2,and i can relate to it myself, being in a state of mind where u just don't know what to do in life, sometimes just thinking about ending it all
This will be getting updates monthly, I hope you enjoy this, in my opinion this definately fits the music in the first part, its kind of sad in a way I guess... When you woke up, it was desolate, you got off the bed and went outside, but it seems as though there were no cars parked at any of your neighbors houses, or even yours. There was green smoke all around the country, no power, all the houses were covered in black, as if they had been burnt down, partially destroyed, you then heard a cry for help behind the house, but when you checked, there wasn't even a trace of anyone ever being there. You walk in the house and find a photograph of you and your family, you realize that this was it, this was the end, you couldn't even find any animals anywhere, no birds were chirping, it then began to get even darker and started to rain, you had no choice but to take shelter back inside your house, you walk around for a source of food, anything to eat, but you found nothing, you walk into your parents room attempting to see if even their television was active to even get some answers, but it wouldn't turn on, you found a note on the ground, saying, "Son, if you are reading this, you're probably wondering what has happened, that I cannot tell you for I will most likely be punished, only your brother can tell you, the both of you are immune to what has happened, your big brother is hiding somewhere in New York. However you will most likely never see us again, all you can do is save life itself, we will always think of you, I love you honey from Mom, goodbye s..." You lay on the bed weeping for half an hour, knowing that all you can do now, is go find your brother... You look around for any weapon in case of any creatures that might be out there, you find a bat and barbed wire, you wrap the barbed wire around the baseball bat waiting for the perfect moment to go out and find him

I know it sounds unsettling and creepy but at the same time it sounds so peaceful
I've never played Silent Hill 1 or 2 but by the music I can tell it's a masterpiece. In fact I'm downloading the game right now.
this makes me feel so at home
This song is the most haunting I've ever heard, Yamaoka was blessed and so we are by being able to listen to his work.
Silent Hill 2 will always be one of my favorite horror video games, especially all the OST, and your piano versions of the music from the game, and other video games, too.
I gotta say, this is personally my favorite song of the game. it's disturbing yet really pretty.
Ah Silent Hill 2. One of the greatest masterpieces known to the horror franchise in my opinion. I will always cherish this game for how great it was. Nothing will top this for being my favorite game.
Your song has reached out to an amazing game in Roblox this song is used in a scary story I loved the song when I heard it keep up the work!
this makes me always feel home
It reminds me great time of my childhood. That no one will take from you, only God. Beautiful Myuuji! Love it!
Finally found it! Every horror RUclipsrs uses this and I couldn't figure out where I heard it
Relaxing, haunting. Despair. Sadness.
What a song
Classic piano ❤
THATS MAKE ME CRY SO MUCH ;(
This might be one of the most disturbingly peaceful piano songs i know
"In my restless dreams i see that town...
..Silent hill....
You promised me you'd take me
there again someday....
but you never did.....
Well im alone there now....
In our "special place"..
Waiting for you...
Waiting for you to come and see me..
But you never do..And so i wait, wrapped in my cocoon of pain and lonliness.
I Know ive done a terrible thing to you. Something you´ll never forgive me for
I wish i could change that,
but i can`t.....
I love you James
You made me happy./Mary"
@cinna banana its from silent hill 2 (the best game ever in my opinion)
One of the most haunting melody.
I listen to this on my drive to work and home from work. Always a soothing time
i remember this scene in Silent Hill 2,and i can relate to it myself, being in a state of mind where u just don't know what to do in life, sometimes just thinking about ending it all
Very nice.
You walk in the house and find a photograph of you and your family, you realize that this was it, this was the end, you couldn't even find any animals anywhere, no birds were chirping,
it then began to get even darker and started to rain, you had no choice but to take shelter back inside your house, you walk around for a source of food, anything to eat, but you found nothing, you walk into your parents room attempting to see if even their television was active to even get some answers, but it wouldn't turn on, you found a note on the ground, saying, "Son, if you are reading this, you're probably wondering what has happened, that I cannot tell you for I will most likely be punished, only your brother can tell you, the both of you are immune to what has happened, your big brother is hiding somewhere in New York. However you will most likely never see us again, all you can do is save life itself, we will always think of you, I love you honey
from Mom, goodbye s..." You lay on the bed weeping for half an hour, knowing that all you can do now, is go find your brother...
You look around for any weapon in case of any creatures that might be out there, you find a bat and barbed wire, you wrap the barbed wire around the baseball bat waiting for the perfect moment to go out and find him
This is actually really good.
After years of hearing this.. It still gives me chills every single time.
**scare theater intensifies**
You know it's a good video when he chooses this music.

Quero ver como vai ficar essa música no remake!
*When you realize everything story, every truth, every sentence, every answer, kept you still locked in that bird cage.*
One of *the* greatest pieces.
Myuu, you have truly played this beautifully!
Music allows individual to interpret and make sense of the meaning of the masterful peice.
speed it up to 1.5 and you have foreboding video game boss music.
Pshhhh....ikr!
It's already boss fight music to me.
"Oh...It's You..."
