It brings me back all the way to the beginning in Minecraft Alpha on my very first world where I was dropped on the shoreline of a Tundra biome (wasn't really biomes at that time like there is now, but it snowed all the time.) The peace and solitude of being on the edge of the world in a stone castle over-looking the ocean while it was snowing in front of a fire as the sun was setting... These feels man...
Finally thank you for Putting some love to the halo themes aka reach. Very overlooked halo but it has the music in the series any of them are so enjoyable to play on piano other than another rain from odst hands down that’s one of my favourites to play on piano. Great vid man keep it up.

Noticed how all the phrasing Syncopation and progressions all play around a play out atop ascending and descending arpeggio and runs in a broken sea shanty. I'm going home to some ScotchIrie Gaelic celt lands.
Amnesia: Machine for Pigs - Mandus is very underrated. The entire soundtrack and voice acting is what made that game. EDIT: This list is basically console only.. You need to widen your Horizons my friend xD
Highly recommend looking at FTL music and Stellaris music. Those strategy games really nail the ambience. Not sure if they are piano friendly but the music is wicked with the relaxation.

The desmond arc ended off with unity and syndicate, everything that came before those titles was peak, everything after was just bs rpg wannabes. I will say that ac3 had the best soundtrack out of all of them, hours spent on that main menu jamming to that awesome theme
