Therefore, opting BDS isn't a good option for them. Instead choosing other career option is better and attain some form of stability when BDS can provide the slightest of stability after 10-15 years. Even I am reconsidering it.

Unless u hv passion there is problem in all the branches in the world.. Mbbs, bds, engineering everything. All the branches are superb and huge scope for right candidates. Don't do mds unless u get govt college. Bds is enough. Don't worry nd go ahead for dental if u have passion.

And dentists are not posted in INTERIOR areas by govt.it may be by choice. Govt cannot provide posts only in capital city , lets b practical but those are not interiors or rural. Then abt work, dentists have the authority to declare death and manage emergencies in dental office . So they excercise this power and give first line tt to emergency pts like mi,stroke, trauma . They do not give iv lines im or stictching like nurses. Yes about deliveries they can supervise and sign documents as govt has many policies for mother and child , and as gynaec spl are not in proportion to births taking place they can give their signatures as gazetted officer so patients can get advantage of govt facilities soon. You do not know the role of DCI or MCI. There job is not to dental market. There job is to check the infrastructure of dental college. If every thing as per the rule than give approval. They cannot hold approval of college because there is huge supply in market.

bro every field has its problem if we choose mbbs stream people say that " no patients come to you unless u do pg and superspeciality. If we choose engineering people say "lakho engineer job searching and they get 20000 where it is not enough to run a family.Problem har field mai hai. Clinic bahut hai ...I have seen so many clinics where the only motive is paisa.chair kharab.gloves nahi badalte.suction nahi badalte.treat nahi earn karna chate hai..Aur phir complain.
I m not totally agree with u.... Two main factors for this situation... (1) very less dental awareness in indian population (2 ) very less dental insurance cover for indian....
If u have average 2 pts Daily in your clinic, if they r treat all properly u can earn good money and servive.... In western country there is same situation... So much dentist also there but earn very good money...

If we become oral maxo facial surgeon u can earn equal to MS/MD/ MCh doctors. Instead of wasting time in long-term I think it is better to join BDS and become surgeon and earn equal to them .

You do not know the role of DCI or MCI. There job is not to dental market. There job is to check the infrastructure of dental college. If every thing as per the rule than give approval. They cannot hold approval of college because there is huge supply in market.

bro every field has its problem if we choose mbbs stream people say that " no patients come to you unless u do pg and superspeciality. If we choose engineering people say "lakho engineer job searching and they get 20000 where it is not enough to run a family.Problem har field mai hai. If u top and become masters in your field u can earn lakhs of money and if u have better skills people are always behind u.

Clinic bahut hai ...I have seen so many clinics where the only motive is paisa.chair kharab.gloves nahi badalte.suction nahi badalte.treat nahi earn karna chate hai..Aur phir complain.
I m not totally agree with u.... Two main factors for this situation... (1) very less dental awareness in indian population (2 ) very less dental insurance cover for indian....
If u have average 2 pts Daily in your clinic, if they r treat all properly u can earn good money and servive.... In western country there is same situation... So much dentist also there but earn very good money...
Sir....ache se college mein padaii karna and ache se clinical work Karna....LOL....still you have to face the same problems and same struggling process you have to go as a student who completed his/her degree with backs in BDS....better to not opt this profession unless or untill you have Dentistry background

If we become oral maxo facial surgeon u can earn equal to MS/MD/ MCh doctors. Instead of wasting time in long-term I think it is better to join BDS and become surgeon and earn equal to them .
