After reading most of the comments... When I heard Roja album for the first time.. it was so unique and I enquired the bus driver.. who is the music director!?. He replied.. a new person called Rahman. He never improvised or copied IR. An original composer. Till date you won't feel IR when hearing ARR numbers. Both are unique. So it is waste of time to compare apple with oranges. But saying ARR is not as good as IR is unacceptable to me. He dethroned IR in the mass market, across India... Fm Kanyakumari to Kashmir. No other southern composer could do that. So I am proud of both. Happy that he worked in IR archestra as teen and still got his unique sounding songs. That is the point I would like to stress!
Eloquently put. They are giants in their own eras and people who stubbornly dispute this as competition stand to lose the timeless enrichment they’ve brought to Indian music overall.

Ilayaraja sir was a genius of his era and served the listeners in that period. ARR has progressed from that point and gave different dimension. That’s how it needs to be viewed and not compare two legends.
Its safer to say they both progressed from MSV sir's legacy and created their own path individually. ARR never really picked up anything from Raja's point despite Raja started a music career earlier than him and gave legendary compositions. ARR gave something different and started differently. The only similarities ARR and Raja both have is the film song composing template. That too more often ARR breaks the pattern and creates his own version to the song's content. While Raja uses flute for his songs, ARR will record the flute music he will use the air sound from the flute for his songs. Their approach is such but yes, both are legendary no doubt. As I have said before, at the end of the day it all fall upon us. Which kind of music is our preference will determine who is our favourite and thus looks the best for us.
Mr. Bhupati. Thank you very much. To express our gratitude for you continuous support.... we pin your comment. We respect & value you as our regular viewer. Regards.
Rgv has immense respect for Ilayaraja. He even said in some of his Telugu interviews that he considers only Ilayaraja like a god and when he traveled to Chennai for the first time, he put his foot on the ground with the thought "this is the land where Ilayaraja belongs to" as a sign of respect.
RGV doesn't consider anyone like GOD. The thing you mentioned was in his early 20s before shiva happened. Why don't you mention the part where he said he lost all his impression when Ilaiyaraja, just like another musician, said, 'aa situation sollunga' and all that! 😁 Ilaiyaraja did great music for Shiva and many other Tamil films. I am not denying he is a genius. But he is not open to changes in the music scene and from 90s, only some of his albums are good.
I am from Maharashtra. I have heard Raja’s music and I like some of his songs. But when Rahman came along his music did something to me it forced me to hear all of his Tamil work. Raja’s music never did that to me. I don’t think there has been Indian mainstream musician who had pan India reach as Rahman. Burman’s were mainly limited to Hindi belt, and Raja mainly south. Rahman is the only one to capture imagination of entire India 🇮🇳
@@gangadharr3524 I did , I tried , but his(Raja’s) sound has linguistic limitations . Don’t get me wrong , I am sure he is a genius but all I am saying is Rahman’s music has pan India following like no other composer in past or current
I hope you have not fully enjoyed with Raja sir songs. We agreed he has more focused with south Indian languages but in Raja sir's music you can find our culture, nativity and even our Indian tradition. If you get a chance to hear more Raja sir music, you can change your opinion. All the Best to you
@@musicalknots7868 I think he is saying the same thing, that you are saying….. raja sir music is enjoyed by southern culture…. Arrahman sir music broke all cultural barriers…. Arrahman song can be enjoyed by European African or American…. ( PS: I am a Tamilan)
@@musicalknots7868 Do understand that South Indian Culture and North Indian culture are completely different. IR catered mainly to South sensibilities wereas ARR had universal appeal which north indians could also connect.
When Ilayaraja arrived MSV and others were more focused on the tune, vicals and the lyrics. Music was consumed through mono speakers. Ilayaraja changed the way the songs sound because his music as a whole and songs in particular are polyphonic in nature and sounded great with the stereophonic audio systems that were affordable and accessible to the "mass" audience. Raja's knowledge of Western and indian esp. carnatic classical and folk music empowered him to explore the possibilities and advantages of the audio tecnology . Raja , in a sense, progressed from where MSV et al had reached. And in the early 90s , indian audiance were able to access international music due to globalisation. I happened to hear MJ and Khaled in a friend's home and noticed that the audio quality was stunning compared to what we used to hear till then. This is where AR Rehman steps in and fills that void. Reaching Raja's level of excellence is an uphill task not only in music , but also in the other forms of art, because he had travelled, performed and listened to all kinds of people in all corners of the State, Tamilnadu. But , this quality of sound and matching up to the international level in that is comparatively easier. ARR was smart enough to understand this and took that route. Here, technology also steps in. Having made enough money to have his own studio through earnings from jingles, ARR was able to produce the kind of audio quality that itself will amuse the audience and put the lyrics and the musical nuances or genius to the back seat. I don't say that ARR is not knowledge wise inferior to Raja or anybody else during that time. I mean to say that he had understood the demands and possibilities and deliberately designed , positioned his music in that way. By that time ARR arrived , the theatres were equiped to play that kind of sound. I happened to hear Humma Humma in a small theatre in an industrial township Neyveli and wondered if it was a song from an Indian movie. . Personal audio systems like Walkman were becoming popular, songs were becoming commadities than art work due to hyper globalisation . Production , by that time, in most of the industries have become assembly line based , than the team work which involved human elements to get desired quality. The same had happened in the music industry and ARR pioneered that by assembling rather than conducting the music. It, ofcourse, had it's adverse effects on performing musicians. So, the focus had shifted from sheer genius to brilliant presentation. That is why ARRs music is more urbane and sophisticated compared to Raja et al.,
@@paddyragh Yup, I'd say: - Arranger - Music Director - Producer Somehow, production and mastering is on another level. I know he has a producer doing the job in his team. But hasn't he elevated it?
What RGV says is absolutely right, ARR loves experimentation and constantly looks to create new dimension to the music. Unlike others, he does everything with passion & always grounded on his stupendous achievements. He made Indians proud globally with his musical masterpiece
Ilayaraja and Rehman played/prayed and experimented with music. They both were/are magical in their invention of music. Comparing them both is only a gimmick to bring the audience to this forum, that's it. To me Ilayaraja and Rehman are born in the future and have come back in time to give us some unbelievable music for us, all that we can do is just embrace them both.
Both ARR and IR successfully evoked strong emotions where words and vision failed to express... pure genius and skill....IR in his prime has given unimaginable BGM score that gave life to otherwise ordinary scene
Dear NRNR. We agree with you 100%. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. we will look forward to hear from you again. Hope you have subscribed to the channel. Please share it with your family, friends and groups. Regards.
I admire RGV’s fair, forthright and astute observations focusing on key aspects that set ARR apart, without trodding on anybody else’s toes. Great job O2 India, using this platform to not only provide an insight into the peerless genius of Rahman through his collaborators’ eyes but a space to nurture and showcase new talent who would like to follow in the master’s wake..Educative and entertaining…
Sore Ilayaraja fans try to keep AR Rahman as an underdog forever. But his actions, what he is and his humility have proven the worth of AR Rahman beyond compare.
The talk is about their brilliance in their fields , how are personal traits a point of conversation here .. and Raja sir is worshiped all over south india. I'm sure you don't need a telugu guy to explain this.
RGV didn't mention anything demeaning about Ilayaraja. However, this comparison will remain forever. IMHO, their music might be of different styles, but these are 2 superior and gifted composers who has given us great pleasure. They are to be equally respected.
Prior to Rahman also, there has been constant yearning among music directors for creating new sounds. All music directors approached this creativity there own way. In the process, each one created their own signature styles. You can tell from the song the name of the music director. The instruments, however, were supposed to play a role subservient to the singer. They were used to embellish the song or at best for highlighting the mood and ambience of the scene. When Rahman came on the scene, he rewrote the rules. He put the instrumental music at the equal pedestal. As a genius, he made the instruments express what remained to be unsaid.

Its like comparing Newton and Einstein..... Einstein invented advanced theories, he also used Newton theories..... Its like climbing up the steps from generation to another.... So you cannot compare.....
He didn’t say anything bad about Ilayaraja. All he said is Rahman’s music presentation in the films made him more popular. I personally witnessed that in his musical shows. His musical shows are presented in a way the crowd enjoys it, dance to the tunes. End of the day that’s what a musical fan wants.
I thought I knew a lot about a lot of things around me.. That I could feel music in a different way.. but after listening RGV speak about AR Rahman.. I just realised.. My knowledge is just nothing!!
# Those who are comparing both the geniuses have no idea of Illaya Raja's musical genius..!! He is a legend in his own right. He has given numerous wonderful and everlasting melodies. # It's not proper to compare both the legends and say who is the greatest..!!
Dear friends never compare the composers or musicians Illayaraja is 78 years old and A.R.R is 56 years old so .in 1980 to 1990 there was stereo only there's no computerized dolby mixing in 1980s to 1990s .U just see the volume of the movies ,songs and BGM with busy schedules of raja sir.In A.R.R Era 1990s dolby & dts came and more digital audio formats came too . Especially the dolby mixing nd dts mixing H.sridhar the sound engineer and Rehman had very updates of the sound format along with computers too.so his composing style is on adding layers of music till the movie release. But illayaraja sir composing style is different .friends do u compare composer's like John Williams,John barry,Jerry goldsmith,Howard shore with Hans Zimmer, Thomas newman . SO JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC don't ever compare he's great nd can't match.Everbody is unique and special.
Raja's time was different. Technology wasn't full fledged. If today we use technologies on his old songs, then it'll go up 100 notches higher. That said, hats of to ARR because he learnt technology too along with music which gave him the global recognition. Both are nothing short of geniuses in their own ways.
@@abusid4588 I agree Abt technology. But don't even say IR' music wasn't a hit. IR grew up in different circumstances, each one had their path. U just can't learn a new technology after composing for soany years.. It's the same in our jobs, u can't use Linux all of a sudden after using Windows. The new generation should always be better than the previous generation, that's evolution.. ARR had an advantage of being schooled by the Maestro himself. Tomorrow Lydian or someone else should become better than ARR, it's natural. Kids use phones better than previous gen, it's the same everywhere
Though recent music directors (including ARR) (past 20 years) mastered in technology, still couldn't match the BGM of Ilayaraja. He is nearing 80 years of age, but still his back ground score quality is good. Just 5 years back he got national award for BGM in tharai thappatai movie. However, ability to give hit songs has been reduced in last decade. That is okay considering his age. But his body of work speaks volume by itself.

That contrasting experience would naturally have influenced Ramgopal Varma's views and his comment is entirely fair in that respect. It is indisputable anyway that Rahman's production is much superior to Ilayaraja's and that is what RGV is referring to when he says aesthetics.
I don't find them slow. I would agree with Zainul, it would not be fair to compare the two Composers, who both are eminent in their own way. Talking about musical aesthetics, Ilayaraja has contributed so much when virtual studio technology was not there.
ARR takes months for one song for adding sounds etc... Ilayaraja records 2 songs a day, without even revisiting it.... Ilayaraja had done pretty much all music techniques used by ARR decades before without the technology ARR has. So its just technical advancement. Obviously everyone speaks big about their movie!
Just a correction. Ilayaraja turns Tamil people for a different music journey apart from Hindi music. Finally Ilayaraja sir covered and turns north Indian people also to listen Tamil music. But ARR attracted and composed as usual like traditional Hindi music.
Ilayaraja sir music is so unique. You can't compare the genius Ilayaraja with any composers. Ilayaraja sir music will directly embrace your soul because his composition blends with our nativity, culture and tradition. Please avoid the comparison of Maestro Ilayaraja sir with any music directors
What people experienced in Roja is same as what they experienced in 16 vayathinile. May be in Raja's 1st film itself. Raja was the generational change from MSV and AR was from Raja. It is somehwat confusing when he says decoration of the song is what the difference is between Raja and Rahman.. because Raja's song are much more decorative than Rahman's as far as I can tell in addition to being melodic. May be he is saying this becasue of the technology in creation and recording Rahamn used as opposed to Raja given the different time periods.. It is astounding when you listen to some of Raja's music when you listen live during conerts.. I find something new even in the songs recorded 20/30 years ago.
how come all these celebrities specially directors speak such good english without any foreign accents like our bollywood guys do- most of them seem to be highly educated though but still do not show off that much as bollywood guys do. why is that like this?
Guys IR and ARR represent two different Indian times. IR has divine genius within but had to cope up with the limitations of a socialist India and substandard film makers. There were innumerable number of garbage films which ran only for his music. He had also had a responsibility of rescuing Tamil music back when Tamils had started following Bollywood music. And there were limitations on equipment importing, labor union, singers availability etc. His era was about survival. But ARR came in when India broke its own shackles and started opening up. People wanted to reach out and expand to try newer things. Its no more about survival but exploration. New equipment new singers new possibilities new market and labels were available. And time for ARR arrived. I would say IR is like Kapil, ARR is like Sachin while Anirudh is like Virat. Virat is doing only because Sachin gave a platform. Sachin is only because Kapil made something alive. Of course Kapil had to owe it to his predecessor. So its a process guys.
Why can't you play the original soundtracks? A lot of smaller youtubers can play the originals...thats the only drawback of all the amazing interviews.
The original “Kya kare kya na kare”’s drumming rhythm was directly borrowed from Peter Gabriel’s “A Different Drum” from the album “Passion”. It was featured in Martin Scorsese’s movie - The Last Temptation Of Christ.
And Ilaiyaraja's mouna ragam theme is directly taken from Flash dance theme. And Kodakanal katre from panneer pushpangal also direct lift. Darling I love you from Bhagyaraj film is also is a direct lift. Akkara Cheemai from Priya is also a direct lift. But the thing is that Rahman only took beats and stuff from others and raja took tunes.
Can't compare both.. Even MSV and KV Mahadevan are equally great of their era..it's just Geniuses coming with age of their era..just all of these are legends!
It is not fair to compare Illairaja with Rehman. Illairaja came out with beautiful music. Rehman is not only liked for his music, but as RGV says, for expand his range and for making the listener realize the harmony created distinctly with each instrument. Undoubtedly more creative. One is reminded of how RD Burman experimented with different sounds.
RGV you have not crossed double digits in film making where as IR sir has crossed successfully 1000 films so now you know where you stand and where IR stand , fools can make noises but genius creates music.
I am little confused. What he means by aesthetics? Is he saying ARR's songs better picturiesed, choreographed,art-directed? That is entirely different from saying IR melodiies can't match ARR aesthetics. Wrong/unwarranted usage of words.
Ocean like a stock tank but River like a Runner. Never ever stops until reach the destination. And pure too not salty. That's means salty water can't drink but pure water can drink. Please kindly don't compare those two legends. Both of them has unique knowledge about the music & film industry. They knew that what will need from them to their fan's. 1978 to1992 Illaiyaraja ruled the film industry from north to south in India. Since 1992 Rahman has a unique place in film industry till now not only in India but All over the world. Once again please kindly don't compare both legends Ocean & River. Both of them more than that in the music industry. Thanks.
RGV talks about a particular sound ARR added to Kya kare song and the video plays a cover song by someone which has none of that. Come on! Yes, we need to encourage all musicians but this series not the right context. Play what ARR originally did.
In India, we are still slaves of colonialism and still feel nobody can be great without western approval. Ilaiyaraaja is far ahead of Rehman (No insult intended for Rehman) in my opinion except of technology use.
Elayaraasa or Ilya Raja is 76 year old and tired of music as caste- supported from ST/SC community and kept behind the castsm politicians !! His last son Yuvan converted to Muslim and surprisingly he is the ardent fan of RAHMAN and following his method of music !! Many songs by Yuvan resembles RAHMAN songs !! Elayaraasa become depressed by death of his wife, the Oscar winning by his much much junior musician, the inside family quarrel of property and the religion change of his son !! All made him arrogant and highly possessive person than normal !!
Rgv has a right to his opinions. Not his facts. This video got recommended by the YT algorithm and I am here 😂. I do not intend to start a comment war. But putting a few facts out here: Raaja is quite simply the greatest there ever has been. His understanding of melody, harmony and rhythm is just unmatched. His bass lines for example, I don’t think anyone in Indian film history has written such beautiful basslines. His use of very unusual progressions for example are again unmatched. And I don’t think we need to even talk about his melodic ideas. His approach to song itself is extremely unusual and brilliant. He could use shanmukhapriya to convey humour and use the lower paa to create harmony. This is just an example. This sort of musical intelligence and brilliance is rare. In short, there is no comparison between Raaja and the best from across India. We can always say that I like Rahman’s music. You are entitled to liking it. But you cannot say Rahman is better than Raaja. That is not factual
As if what you are saying that IR is the best of all time is factual? Lol. It's just your opinion too. And RGV isn't saying AR is better than IR. He is just pointing out a specific strength of ARR. He also praised IR in the interview too. And the title of the video is complete clickbait trash just to sound controversial and attract comments. Each composer has their own strengths and we as fans should not put another composer down to prop our favorite. There is no "fact" as far as who is superior overall. Period. You also have a right to your opinions, not your facts.
So you are hiding all the musical geniuses that ARR did just to praise Raja? Likewise, you don't really have the authority to say Raja is greater than Rahman. How is it that when someone says ARR is a great composer is an opinion and it cant be said the same for Raja lovers? Again, watch this video and see what a legit filmmaker had to say about them both. Mani Ratnam too says the same and has been working with ARR since 1992. And ofcourse, let's not forget the real technical geniuses ARR has done. You are talking about swarams and raagams so you should know the kind of music ARR has did too. It's ok to be hardcore fan of someone, but again, it's your opinion, not a fact.
For God sakes stop adding the covers inbetween, any foreigner who is not known to Rahman song would misunderstand the quality and also its really really annoying except a very few pieces

RGV's lack of understanding of spirituality is revealed with his connecting with classical music!! Interviewer's question to compare with Ilaiyaraja quite misplaced and unwarranted. Only helps to trigger some comments engagement. Maybe that was the intention. They are both geniuses of different domains and hence not comparable, which RGV rightly pointed. Raja is a master of content, ARR of packaging. Where is the question of comparing?
Nope. ARR did not build anything from Raja. He created his own path. Both IR and ARR probably had to used to basic template of film composing method from MSV, but Raja and Rahman are 2 worlds apart. If you knew music, you wouldn't have said this. Looks like you man, don't know anything about music. So kindly refrain from saying this to others.
The more I read RGV's comments these days, the more I am sure he's an absolute ass. Rahman was able to focus on aesthetics and quality of recording because instruments and sound systems had evolved by the time he arrived. Raja sir did not have that luxury. Rahman, on the other hand, was never able to match Ilayaraja's sheer volume of astounding music. There are people who will say that Ilayaraja is Saint Thyagaraja's reincarnation. When it comes to true melody, Ilayaraja is still the unquestioned master. When you listen to his songs, you will come away liking 80% of his songs. With Rahman, you come away liking 20% of his songs...actually I am being kind to Rahman. That number may be much less.

Ilaiyaraja is legend in creation of new dimentions in Indian cinema music, everyone followed his way of music in all their compositions underneath....
One more excellent episode. RGV analysis about ARR is fantastic. Hope they work again for another movie . Eagerly waiting for next episode..
Mr. Bhupati. Thank you very much. To express our gratitude for you continuous support.... we pin your comment. We respect & value you as our regular viewer. Regards.
@@O2india Thank you
Rgv has immense respect for Ilayaraja. He even said in some of his Telugu interviews that he considers only Ilayaraja like a god and when he traveled to Chennai for the first time, he put his foot on the ground with the thought "this is the land where Ilayaraja belongs to" as a sign of respect.
Yes, I remembered that one..RGV's those interviews were beautiful memories..
Maybe you didn't hear some of his other songs
That is why ARRs music is more urbane and sophisticated compared to Raja et al.,
Awesome analysis. Rahman is an arranger turned music director. Primarily, he's an arranger.
@@paddyragh Yup, I'd say:
- Arranger
- Music Director
- Producer
Somehow, production and mastering is on another level.

@deflectedmind7932 Don't divide using language. RGV , Ilayaraja and a.r.rahman Collaborated with all language speakers. 🙏
Dear Mr. Malvey. We really admire your knowledge and alalyses. As a gesture of gratitude, we pin your comment. So that all our viewers and visitors to this page can read your comment. It's viewers like you who make our work worthwhile. Regrads
Whether good or bad, how RGV compare Ilayaraja Raja sir's Genius with others. Like the same you should not compare ARRs music with others
I thought I knew a lot about a lot of things around me.. That I could feel music in a different way.. but after listening RGV speak about AR Rahman.. I just realised.. My knowledge is just nothing!!
Good job with the video title. You can now have an Ilayaraja v ARR fight is n the comments section!
The covers ruin the interview. Too many breaks. I'd rather have more information from the talks and use the original composition heard in the films.
The questions and the way it is interviewed i dont think there is some better answers we can get 🔥🔥

Awaiting for ARR in Ths journey of his Music Sheets ❤
Dear friends never compare the composers or musicians
Illayaraja is 78 years old and A.R.R is 56 years old so .in 1980 to 1990 there was stereo only there's no computerized dolby mixing in 1980s to 1990s .U just see the volume of the movies ,songs and BGM with busy schedules of raja sir.In A.R.R Era 1990s dolby & dts came and more digital audio formats came too .

IR & Rehman both are music magicians
@@sakthivelr2480 pls u r saying ARR has no ability to give good BGMs? Good joke, but I'm not in mood laugh today, I'll postpone it..

Let's put it in perspective - Shiva was a very by the numbers album (though the background score was great) where Rangeela was simply one of the finest. That contrasting experience would naturally have influenced Ramgopal Varma's views and his comment is entirely fair in that respect. It is indisputable anyway that Rahman's production is much superior to Ilayaraja's and that is what RGV is referring to when he says aesthetics.
For that matter, RGV can't match his own aesthetics anymore...

Reversed my opinion of RGV and Mani Ratnam due to this series. RGV knows ARR better than MR.

Why can't you play the original soundtracks? A lot of smaller youtubers can play the originals...thats the only drawback of all the amazing interviews.
1. Illayaraja 2. MM Keeravani 3. AR Rehman 😊
Ilayaraja’s music will outlive Rayman’s easily. Melody always wins.

It is not fair to compare Illairaja with Rehman. Illairaja came out with beautiful music. I am little confused. What he means by aesthetics? Is he saying ARR's songs better picturiesed, choreographed,art-directed? That is entirely different from saying IR melodiies can't match ARR aesthetics. Wrong/unwarranted
usage of words.
ARrahman is like a river
But Ilayaraja is a Ocean
Eventually river has to join a sea and finally reach Ocean 🤔
Ocean like a stock tank but River like a Runner. Never ever stops until reach the destination. And pure too not salty. That's means salty water can't drink but pure water can drink.
Please kindly don't compare those two legends. Both of them has unique knowledge about the music & film industry. @@RIZRIZZI Ilaiyaraja never was a famous name in Bollywood even though a lot of composers copied his tune and made in their names.
Just talk. You're only saying that because Ilayaraja came before AR Rahman.
Elayaraasa become depressed by death of his wife, the Oscar winning by his much much junior musician, the inside family quarrel of property and the religion change of his son !! All made him arrogant and highly possessive person than normal !!
Ilayaraja is uncomparable.. Pls stop 😂😂😂
Rgv has a right to his opinions. Not his facts. This video got recommended by the YT algorithm and I am here 😂. I do not intend to start a comment war. But putting a few facts out here:
Raaja is quite simply the greatest there ever has been.
🤣
To the point.
Right on target. Cannot agree more.
Man , this thumbnail is wrong on so many levels.
Dear sir. Thanks for watching and sharing your thought. The thumbnail is a quote from Mr. Ram Gopal Varma. We are merely quoting him without judging it. We respect opinions of our guests and present them without diluting them. Regards.
IR n ARR is diffent league...

Don't compare both geniuses
Comparing both geniuses is a shitty thing to do
RGV talked a little raw here.. like a layman..in his own words.. Fans, music lovers, with a little more accepting kind of nature would not be so brave..... Let's accept it as his words, opinion..
I love both ARR and Raja sir❤️❤️
The anesthetics of Illaya rajas music is like the soothing mothers
Love and ARR s music is like the
Whirlwind romance of a new girl
Friend ,hence is the success of ARR IN THE CURRENT GENERATION.YOU CANNOT SAY ARR IS BETTER THAN ILLAYARAJA ,AS BOTH CATER FOR DIFFERENT AUDIENCES,
AND NO MATTER AN AETHEIST LIKE RGV CANNOT UNDERSTANT THE SUBLIME SPIRITUAL QUALITY OF ILLAYARAJAS MUSIC
AS HE HIS PICTURES THEMSELVES LACK AESTHETICS AND ARE ONLY HOLLOW BOXOFFICE PULLERS BUT ILLAYA RAJA BELONGS TO THE LEVEL OF THE GENIUSS LIKE SATYAJIT
RAY,SANTA RAM,SHYAM BENEGAL, SACHINDEV BURMAN
ETS.COMMERCIAL SUCCESS IS NOT EQUAL TO GENIUS.CURRENT
SEMINUDE CINEMA CULTURE
CAN NEVER REACH THE SIMPLLY
DEVINE LEVELS OF BIJU BAWRA
OR EVEN MID 70S LIKE PAKEEZA.
the cover music is mostly irritating... your videos were mostly instumentals of the original songs..was way better... most of the cover songs you are using may be due copy right issue spoils the whole video...once the cover comes i skip it
Dear Praveen K. You are right - covers can't match the original. But the idea is to highlight the fact that - How Mr. Rahman's music has impacted generations defying all boundaries. We sincerely hope that you will appreciate this perpective of our production team. Kindly stay with the series. Please subscribe to the channel and share it further. Regards.
Clearly the man doesn’t know his music. Rahman has obviously built on what Ilayaraaja had built
