Starforce 2 was my first introduction to the gaming world. Shame that the series didn’t get a lot of recognition but it holds a special place in my heart. I remember being a noob and not understanding how to play. It took me probably 40% in my play through for me to realized that I could press A and use cards and stop spamming the buster. It took me even longer to figure out that I can press down to go in for close range attacks, so during my first play through I barely used physical cards. This is partly due to my lack of experience with the English language as I only recently moved to America back then. In my opinion, this final boss was the most entertaining to me of all the battles. At first I got slapped back and forth, but after fighting more I started to become some kind of god and I would come back to the final area whenever I’m bored to just casually rediscover that feeling again. I kinda wished that I was able to utilize tribe king back then as it would had been so cool for my childlike mind to see Geo’s final transformation, but I’m happy with what I got. Good old childhood. Thank you god for making me a Starforce fan.
It upsets me that this game isn't apparently popular but anytime I somehow see a copy in the wild at a flea market or a vintage store, they KNOW to charge a lot for it.
I was terrified when my older brother didn’t beat this boss on the first try. But when it was my turn, beat in one try. But Le Mu Xa was a different story o_O
This boss is HARD, by the time I finally beat him I had nearly exploded from the tension... I survived that huge laser attack with only 1 HP!! thank you undershirt and darkness hole...
I remember when first starting with SF1 and having to retrain myself in how to control the field. Having only three squares to move around with and it's all vertical was so fucking crazy back then.
Having finally played this game, I can see why people hate this guy so much, the holes he creates are hard to predict and the constant barrage of Mu Soldiers is annoying too. His other attacks aren't that hard to dodge but I can see where people come from on saying this guy is the hardest out of all the 3 games.
It's also the fact that you have to waste cards and time fighting a first form that doesn't share a moveset with the second form. You essentially have to fight two bosses in one fight since Le Mu has different attacks for each that you have to learn. In the initial boss battle it isnt that bad since the first phase doesn't have *too* much health. But his full power form in post-game is a different beast entirely. It's just not fair in any capacity.
I saw this whole listening to the music and almost crapped my pants because the darn tickling sensation I get in my throat whenever I hear of the waving sounds
Nintendo and capcom back then made some of the most hardest bosses i have ever played as a kid. Le mu is placed 2nd if it was your first playthrough But the hardest boss if you start playing ever as a kid is definently mario and luigis partners in time final boss queen shroom. Seriously i spent 2 HOURS just to beat her! What i loved the games back then they had both good plots and gaming experience, but also challenging bosses and careful strategy.
Played it on zerker. I had to use a code for megaman rogue just to halt the elemental weakness and get all the power and even then it was hard as nails. Kept using falling rocks and other long range battle cards and using the megabuster(with megaman rogue) with the added damage output to win
@@nerothewateruser8030 Yeah, that’s pretty much due to the Japanese alphabet. They don’t pronounce the L sound like we do as it steers more towards the R sound when they speak.
I played all of the Starforce games back then. They were so good! I'm really excited for Mighty No. 9. I hope Mighty No. 9 becomes a series and evolves like Mega Man did. The art's pretty much the only thing I don't really from what I've seen, but it's alright. I hope that if it does become a series it'll improve on that with each game.
I cant believe that my favorite gaming companies the past few years have really been spoon feeding their fans with shit. Metroid is dead, DMC is dead, and now Megaman is dead. Thanks Capcom and Nintendo.
I literally couldnt beat him even with double tribe so I had to use the tribe king code but that was like almost 7-8 years ago maybe I can try again lol
I remember when I was like 9 or 10, I keep dying a lot but finally beaten him... I don't know how come my young idiotic self able to beat him, the memory is so blurry so I don't remember the plot. Ok, time to finish MBN 4 Red Sun/Blue Moon.
This Boss Is The Only Final Boss In The Series That ACTUALLY MOVES. Andromeda May Seem Like It Moves, But Only For Half The Fight. And Le Mu May Not Move Until You Reach The Second Form, But It Depends On How Quickly You Destroy Is Tablet. Crimson Dragon Is Just A Lazy Ass. Also Called A God: Xa: 4000 Crimson Dragon: Sigma: 8000
Took me more than that!It took me luck to defeat him finally...then with increased HP,More Recovery Cards...stronger Battle Cards,I defeated him more easily..... YO!!LE MU!!WHY DID YOU STOLE A FRAGMENT OF MY SOUL?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!??!!?!??!But Nvm that..you did serve your purpose on restoring Model W...But actually...You actually awakened A half of Ouroboros...I CONGRATULATE YOU!!!!A Precursor to Ruin wasn't what I expected but it served it's purpose twice!
Starforce wasn't the best of the series, But Le Mu definitely was the best Final Boss of the Whole SF AND BN series (BN series is better IMO, but their Final Boss battle tends to suck compared to SF final bosses)
I disagree. The SF final bosses look super awesome in the way they take up their whole side of the field, but they always end up being total pushovers that die fast. The only SF final boss I had any real fun with was the sigma version of Crimson Dragon. The BN boss fights tend to have more depth and mechanics to them.
So I had StarForce 2 serker x saurian on my drastic emulator, had the one hit kill cheat. Kind or got bored just one hit killing Ra mu, and deactivated it. So I tried it the normal way... I was so wrong, I was being beaten to a pulp by this giant stone em being, the father of all em waves. So I just activated it again. Take that Ra mu!!! ( Japanese).
Everyone got ultra instinct by fighting this guy
Yeah lol
Those black holes-
Those black holes and if you get stunned you are pretty much deleted those stunned times are nasty

Same Starforce 2 was what got me really into gaming instead of it being an on and off thing for me
This was first megaman game and ya know what? I had a blast ^_^
I went up to half the first game thinking you had to counter enemy attacks to not get hit..then I found out there's a block button. I felt so dumb
It upsets me that this game isn't apparently popular but anytime I somehow see a copy in the wild at a flea market or a vintage store, they KNOW to charge a lot for it.

This was a great final boss, but you're right about the name. It makes it sound like the fight is against a cow, and not a huge statue/god.

Best final boss theme of the entire megaman series. PERIOD.
Hearing the first 20 seconds for the first time is rather fear inducing, like your going to fight a madness ridden god.
He was initially Ra Mu, I believe.
In Japan he's Ra Mu, yes

Doesn't all of the Mega Man Starforce final boss theme songs have the same beat pattern of 5/4 or am I wrong?
