Thank you Dave. After the HTML course, I've just finished the full javascript course for the first time. I spent a lot of time with you, now my plan is to repeat it all. You really doing a great job!
In less than a month, you have taught me HTML, CSS and JavaScript from scratch! I really don't know how to thank you for keeping this wonderful content free for us! I ditched two Udemy courses for the first time, which now feel like sub-par amateur courses when compared to your content! Take a Bow, Dave!🙏
Great video and examples. A must see just after the 1st regex video. I really enjoy the systematic and orderly way in which you teach. I will definitely will be checking your other videos, even though I chose php for the backend.
@@80Vikram Well, most of the web is running PhP, gotta go where work is. Also, about 99% of PHP critics don´t know PHP, or the last time they touched it was indeed in the 1990s🙂 (I think it is the first reason, for the "current" generation, whatever that means. There are developers older than 15 years of age, you know 😆 There are many generations coexisting, we, senior citizen devs do exist) For example, Laravel is one of the best frameworks out there in any language, period. I don´t care about fads. I look at the market, and in web development, there is no contest. Languages are tools, not religious idols. Learn and use them, do not worship them. It is not a question of faith, but facts. PHP still has most of the market share. It will probably outlive me, so...why not?
Great tutorial as always! Dave I’d like it if we could get a mini website project of some sort that combines the use of html, css and JavaScript for beginners. Just like you did at the end of your CSS and HTML Courses.
I know you may did this in purpose to make the code the three examples look consistent, but, In the first example you get the phoneNum element by its id whereas you can use the event.target property instead since the event listener is on the phoneNum element itself (maybe it saves a few cpu cycles) Don't know why but with all the hard time I'm having the more I watch your videos the more I'm enjoyed them!
You will learn the fundamentals of JS in this playlist. I'd recommend making a project with just Vanilla JS afterwards and then move on to React and/or Node.js - You can follow my free Web Dev Roadmap here: bit.ly/DaveGrayWebDevRoadmap
Hi Dave, could you also do a video on JS Date object, with timezone, UTC time, and how to properly use Date-time fields in JSONs (may be as part of this series). Thank you.
Yes. React is a Javascript library. You should learn some Advanced JS Concepts to better understand React, too. My Advanced JS playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL0Zuz27SZ-6N3bG4YZhkrCL3ZmDcLTuGd

Hi there, I like how you teach. Do you perhaps have a Webpack course?
I do not yet. It is a good idea though! 💯
is this playlist enough to get started with react and node js ?
