I hope this song gets really big. It's not only really beautiful, the world needs songs like this one right now. Fully and completely touched. I thought it was a marvelous song in itself, but this video gives it a completely different meaning. It's calm and peacefull, but there's an underlying melancholy in it, proving that loving yourself is not always easy, even if the sentiment is true, when you're split between what you love and what you think you have to do, between your dreams and your reality.

Thank you for this video. As a man, it's difficult to learn to treat yourself with the tenderness you need and deserve. This video is a beautiful template for what that might look like. It was easy to see both sides of myself, but I was surprised how difficult - how almost shameful it felt - to play the role of tenderness with myself. Thank you for the lesson and the example to model.

Reminds me how I say that I hate myself but my boyfriend says I am special for the way I see myself and how I see life, because I seem to appreciate it more than the girls he knows. As if I am unhappily in love with myself and everything that is life. I got through a drug addiction when this came out. Was going through alcoholism a couple years before this came out when I first found angus and Julia. I am now recovering and a father of a beautiful daughter. Hard times is what shapes us to don’t regret nothing instead learn from everything
I don't know if its just me, but the first time I saw the moment in 4:23 my first thought was that the movements and everything what is going on in the background, reminds me on an opening flower. An opening flower, especially when it comes to women, may symbolize pleasure and delight.

This song kinda reminds me of a bitter sweet memory in time when two people fall in love with each other and then for some reason someone always has to screw it up and leave. It hurts so bad, and you are left alone to rebuild your life. I believe this is the time you find yourself, and you should learn a lesson from this, and that is to love you! I always asked what was the lesson suppose to be when somebody leaves, , and I never realized it until I watched this video and heard this song. Whoever directed me here tonight, it was a good thing! :)

The song is so good it's almost a shame they couldn't give it the obvious title "Just the Way You Are," but Billy Joel's Grammy-winning hit from 40 years ago is just too well-known.
