    Dii, im entering med school this year , going to vmmc or lhmc... I've always been thought of trying USMLE once in life... so I'm gonna focus on that since starting,,,not to mention that in the 1st and 2nd year ill focus on building my concepts the best and then prolly give step1 in the end or starting of 3rd year....your videos are so helpful...tysm for ur hard work... i wish you the very best in your residency in IM in the US

    What is the dedicated time you suggest to give every day step 1 preparation?? As i am a working consultant with 8 hrs job it’s not possible to dedicate the whole day for study..

    Hello doc! I had this question that always lingered on the back of my mind…
    Due the the fact that you studied MBBS, did you find it difficult to catch up with American medicine? Is there any catching up at all?
    I wondered because we go there with a completely different pattern of learning and subjects compared to the American counterparts, was it easy to blend in?
    Was there a difference in level, in terms of knowledge and tech that you as an individual from india experience there?
    I’m just overwhelmed about not being able to keep up with the American system, when the time comes…especially considering that we’d also be much younger compared to our peers.

      Absolutely not. It’s at par with whatever they learn. Sure it’s a different system. So you’ll have to learn that. But otherwise, even they recognise our MBBS degree as their equivalent 💯

    I didn't have a plan to give USMLE but after listening you I think i should also consider doing it

    I just had a couple of questions (a 1st year mbbs student here)
    Would it be beneficial to start preparing for step 1 from 1st year?
    If yes ,then are there any resources you would recommend for anatomy, physiology and biochem solely tailored to help with step 1 prep or should I just stick to the basics rn ?(bdc, Vasudevan and guyton)

    Ma’am I Am First Year Mbbs Student And Started My Journey 1 Month Ago , Ma’am I Had A Query Regarding Resources I Am Having This Major Problem, I Am Able To Manage It For Anatomy Though But Particularly In Biochem And Physiology I Am Not Able To Pick The Correct Resources , For Biochem I First Picked Up Lippincott But Our Professor Said It Would Be Very Difficult For Us To Pass Internals Because DM Vasudevan Focuses More On Exams Pov Similarly Is The Case For Guyton And GK Pal . Pls Guide Me The Best Path Ma’am Through Which I Can Excel In Both Internals And USMLE 🙏

    Do we have to prepare for NEET PG AND NEXT to be able to clear USMLE ? Are there any qualifications that are required for applying for USMLE in terms of college exam scores?

      From what I know the college your doing mbbs in requires some credentials like ecfmg, WHO accreditation etc. I'm pretty sure there's no need to qualify in neet PG and or next exam. This is what I have gathered from my research, if anyone knows otherwise kindly correct me.

    If one fails in usmle step1. how many times ons can attempt for step1 usmle. Does that affect later? I mean the drops for usmle! Please answer this

      Imo, this is not framed correctly as STEP attempts are often a “red flag” on your profile. So, maybe an attempt at max, if you’re looking at a decent chance of eventually matching

    Mam,what about someone graduate from BSMS/BHMS/BAMS/BUMS?
    Can one go for PG in MD Emergency/ MS in Minor Surgery in the US or Germany?
    I did not get Allopathic(MBBS) medicine so I joined Ayush Medicine as u know surgery is limited to us ayush students. kindly do some research if there is any possibility of shifting to MD Emergency/MS in Minor Surgery.

      Umm. I don’t think that switch is possible tbh, because for all the registrations that I have done they required me either registered in MBBS or completed MBBS specifically. So, you can either pursue MBBS or do medical school in the US and then apply to become a surgeon :)

    I am 3rd year MBBS student.I did my 2nd year pathology and microbiology from prepladder videos.Do I need to do videos of these subjects again for usmle from other platforms like pathoma,sketchy,dirty minds or boards and beyond?

      Are you actually continuing with USMLE prep, when NEXT is confirmed for our batch?
      ENT Ophthal depts here informed we have both subjects in Final Year.
