Thank you AJay for the detailed review / planning of the sound board upgrade. Would a pair of outputs go to a particular amplifier? I assume four amps with two outputs each, would equal your eight "zones?" I like the step by step analyis and what-ifs related to a stagebox. Thanks for the programming and routing table of the X32 mixes. This appears to be a project that is not quickly done; maybe multiple days: install, program, check, and the recheck. Thanks again.
Thanks for the great video AJay. I've never seen a subwoofer used in a church setting before, and am curious as to how its used. As many churches have pretty reflective acoustic environments and can suffer from excessive bass build up, can you share how effective using a subwoofer is in managing the bass within the sanctuary? In your experience, is having a subwoofer(s) common in church audio systems these days? I suppose it depends on the acoustics within the room itself, but I found it interesting to see one used in this system.
A lot of the churches I've worked in want amps mainly for the organ bass and kick lows. Granted this has been COGIC, Baptist and some non denominational churches
Roland uses a cross-over cable. I still use the m-480. Most reliable digital mixer they ever made. Almost 20 years never had a problem. Try to achive that with any recent digital mixer. :)
No they are moved so that the sound is more direct for other areas or for the live stream. Just like settings they don't need to be amplified for the house sound but for other areas it is mixed so it can be heard
Musicians talking’ to each other is wonderful!
Thank you for your information, it is invaluable and now I know more and would like to be trained on the new system. Rev. Vicki
Thanks, this made the X32 make more sense to me. We have a soundcraft expression 3 and the setup for routing and aux outs is different.
I forgot to add music during the sped up part. Oops sorry folks

I wish they got the next model as this one only supported USB connections to control it and they stopped supporting computers over Windows 8
Ajay can do you know a good brand for audio snakes that not digital

@@AJaytheCEO this will be plenty just wasn’t sure on the brand
Is it weird to mic a Leslie? I never really hear about Leslie's being miced in a church sound system.

That pipe should have been bigger
They have 2 but originally there was suppose to be a catwalk in the ceiling which would have made me cable runs easier
agreed!
