He is not a labeled as a gospel singer anymore (Tonex). He is a R&B/Soul singer under his name B.Slade.

Mind u he did this 25 years ago dancing. Sounding exactly the same.
B. Slade's father played drums/sang for James Brown and Jackie Wilson. His mother sang with various lady groups and she taught him about vocals. The combo made him a genius at all things music. Listen to Make Me Over by Tonex which was his first stage name. I LOVE him by any stage name.
I found out that he use to choregraph for Janet Jackson
He'a Music Virtuoso who plays many instruments very fluently. And he's historically Gospel "Unsung" Royalty who now is a man of Many Gifts Manifested. And is living his 2nd Life! Thanks Cory!

He is an ARTIST. No title necessary. He has stepped far away from the gospel field of music for quite some time, but was always a part of him at the same. It Is a part of the reason he has gone through the processes he has musically and further. The church’s expectations and religions were such rough haters being fake. He represents so many people from but not of the church. Got to meet quickly at a concert. When my mother spoke to gin telling him how much of an inspiration he has been to me, he said “I’m on a mission”. THEN his voice!!! Anyway.....I’ve known (of) him through his entire career. Even as T. Bizzy....lol. Listen to his collection under all his performance names! You’ll all be amazed!
The song Words are Few are with him and Snoop Dog that was done last year. Also listen to his Out of the Box album from when he was Tonex. He has done work with and for other artists of various genres. He has an Out of the Box 1 and 2 if you go to his Instagram, you’ll find it. He’s been in the industry for years.
