Incomparable interpretation by Zoltán Mága. Music & lyrics composer: Zequinha de Abreu (José Gomes de Abreu-1880-1935). He was born in the city of Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, state of São Paulo-Brazil. "Zequinha" was his nickname. Brazilian composer and instrumentalist, he composed "Tico-Tico no Fubá" in 1917(tradution: “Tico-Tico Eating Cornmeal”). The title of the song refers to a small bird called Tico-Tico and the lyrics say how much this little bird is happy eating cornmeal bought by someone. The rhythm is typically Brazilian, called 'Choro' or 'Chorinho'. Só o g. tradutor para me ajudar e olhe lá. Isso não é rumba, mambo ou qualquer outro ritmo que não seja o 'Choro', pomba!
