Hi,I’m coming on board with the mates connect and hopefully I’ll be able to interact with folks struggling with prostate cancer issues.
I do not tolerate Zoladex very well,I manage my second implant and within a week the side effects get bad(sleeplessness,night anxiety etc)
I was diagnosed early 2018 with a routine blood test,no warnings,psa was 14
MRI showed stage 4 Gleason 9
Robotic surgery Jul 2018
First Zoladex January 2019,I did not tolerate well
Psa rise monitored until 2023 with Zoladex and apalutamide -terrible side effects
February psa level jumped from 30 to 65 so started Zoladex monthly for 2 months then with darolutamide,also on 5x20mg Oxynorm daily
I’ve stopped all treatment due to side effects again !
