ya. the thing is - there are actually many criminals who understand that when you get a certain amount of money you will have to take steps to launder and/or hide that money. Like look at al capone. depsite all the people that he killed and all the money he made from bootlegging he was only convicted of tax evasion. He clearly topk steps to hide/launder his money. The same thibg with lucky luciano, frank costello, meyer lansky, etc... with what they had done in Cuba and the Cuban casinos and what they did by racketeering poor businesses owned by broke americans. Even big companies like Dole the fruit company, they took steps to launder and hide the money they made and spent to commit the genocides that happaned in Lantin America when they were growing fruit there Even today there are many criminals who laundrr their money and hide their money once it reaches a certain amount of income/wealth. just watch the wire. There comes a point when you bring in so much money from criminal activitjes that it becomes mandatory for your financial safety, and maybe even for your life, that you launder or hide that money. And a quater of a billion dollars is clearly one of those benchmarks. If you bring in that kind of money and have no plans to prevent yoyr extradition , or to launder it or hide any of it? Lol you have failed to plan and therefore you have planned to fail. As we see here lol.

Even today there are many criminals who laundrr their money and hide their money once it reaches a certain amount of income/wealth. just watch the wire.
There comes a point when you bring in so much money from criminal activitjes that it becomes mandatory for your financial safety, and maybe even for your life, that you launder or hide that money.
