A few weeks ago, we found ourselves with a random free weekend. A rare gem in life with multiple kids. I told my husband we should go away to his parent's second house and just explore the town and do random things. Suddenly, it hit me. We didn't need to go anywhere to do that. So, instead, we stayed home, went mini golfing, and explored. Overall, we spent the weekend as if we were in a new town. Highly recommend!
We just did that recently too. We actually did a city tour (we have those double decker busses doing tours here) and it was glorious! ❤Tourist your own town!
Look at you! Up early, hair is neat as a pin, meal planning, kitchen is clean, and baby is sleeping?? What universe is this?!? Lol love this channel! Thanks for the smiles. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I invested in a Vitamix about 18 years ago & it is still running strong. It not only makes smoothies, milk-shakes, salsas, dips, and all my nut butters, it also makes HOT soups & dips. Also it is warranted for a life time. They are made in Ohio, USA. Love my Vitamix. Best small appliance investment I ever made. ❤
I think my favorite part of my vegetable gardening is when im not in a hurry and can truly enjoy everything about it. I always thank the bees for all of their hard work. We were finally able to be blessed with the ability to buy our first home last year. So it's been more than 20 years since I've been able to have my own garden. I was out watering this morning and appreciating everything. It overwhelmed me and I started crying. That's right, a 43 year old woman watering her garden while crying 😂
We got our Vitamix “refurbished” for half the price, like $150 and it’s been going strong for 10 years! So worth it. Really great quality. You buy it once and it lasts for a long time.
Heyyyyy Kim!! Excited to spend time with u!! Currently been having contractions for 24 hrs trying to get into active labor! Glad for the distraction of a great Kim video 🥰🥰🥰
Took my 13 yr old to the mall for school shoes last weekend. 90s jeans and parachute pants with crop tops are back! When I see my high school fashion come back it reminds me of when 60s fashion popped up when I was a kid and my mom cried 😂
Just discovered your channel in July - so new subscriber. I am really enjoying all your videos as I jump back a few years to watch past videos along with the newer ones. It's the best type of therapy if I am feeling down or in a slump. Love all of them - thanks for all you do to share your life with us - you are amazing - definitely "The Woman Across the Room!" 💜😀
Kim! Thanks for the dinner inspiration. We make smoothies all the time. Don’t get sucked into the hype! I have a $45 Oster blender and my son has a $30 Hamilton beach blender. They both make great smoothies! The key is using frozen fruits instead of ice. We prefer ours a little thick almost like a sorbet so we use less liquid. My son uses his to make almond and oat milks. Doesn’t have to be expensive to work well. I’ve had mine for over 5 years. 😊
Your method greatly increases your sugar intake but using ice and a better quality blender does not..our health is worth much more than the blender cost 😊
👍🏽 To each their own. I prefer smaller smoothies with more flavor. It doesn’t take extra fruit to replace the ice- just frozen instead of refrigerator or room temp. If you’re worried about sugar stick to the low sugar fruits like berries. You can also freeze your leafy greens and cucumber but I find the frozen fruit I use is plenty and I don’t have to add too much liquid because the veggies have some in them. But hey, if you want a straight up fruit smoothie that tastes close to sorbet without added sugar- that is fully your choice and at least you know exactly what is in your treat rather than the stuff you get at the shops. We have family members with milk allergy and smoothies at shops sometimes sneak in whey or other milk products and the kids at the shops don’t really know all the time. We have to be careful. But I’m happy to share that we didn’t have to buy an expensive blender to have wonderful smoothies.
Love watching your videos to get myself motivated to ‘get my life together’. Gah, why is it so hard to KEEP it together Kim?!??! Anyway, thanks for the boost this morning!
This week’s first new episode of the Wads starring Kimberly Whisk and the Whiskworths! 🎉🎉 Meal prepping? Grocery Haul? 🎉🎉 🎶 Those are two of my favourite things 🎶 * also, a BBQ theme? Groundbreaking! 😂
Kim, you do not need a $300 blender. Ninja Professional is great and now $180 at Kohls. I am sure you can find less expensive elsewhere. Have a beautuful day!
No need to get a vitamix. I have a ninja and another blender. Do i use either of them? Nope. Theyre dust collectors in my garage. So what do i use you ask? The Ninja Bullet. Love it and you will too! ❤😂😅😂😊
You should try the battery operated can opener off of temu. It takes 2 AA batteries, not included. You set it on the top of a can, so the blade is along the outer edge, push the button, and it's hands free. It goes around the can, and cuts it, leaving the safety edges, so no one gets cut, handling the lids. Disclaimer: I've had a little trouble figuring out how to get it off the can, once it's finished, but that's because I didn't read directions. My hands get very sore, working in the kitchen. I have an electric can opener, but if I can get rid of it, to save counter space, I'm all for it. Warning, you can go down a rabbit hole, ordering from Temu. There have been a few losers, but most items I ordered, I read reviews, and I'm happy with them. I even got a pair of sandals for "orthopedic" foot issues, and when I wear them, I get compliments, but more importantly, my legs and feet don't hurt, like they do, wearing "regular" sandals. They cost me $7-$9! with free shipping. If an item doesn't fit, or is damaged, just photograph it, and send it to Temu, and they credit your account, most times they don't require a free return of the item.
I feel old when I remember my 5 sons are in their forties. I love your channel. I've been binge watching it. I think your fantastic. Sincerely Kat from Kentucky
What makes me feel old, you ask? I remember nursing both my babies like it was yesterday, and my oldest will be starting his senior year in high school this year! Yep, I feel old… 😊
Yayyyy! Another Kim video! We love you so much! ❤ I’ve been trying to catch up on all the videos I’ve missed lately. Just finished watching the last video you did and I was so sad that I had no more left to watch. Refreshed the page and saw you JUST posted this! Woohoooooo!!! 🥳 I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Thank God for youuu! ❤️❤️❤️
Get the blender that you can also make hot soup in. They are the best you can teach your girls how to make homemade soup in them. That way they can do it themselves or make you some when your sick. Plus make lots of other hot things in it. But also best for smoothies , icees , making humus, salsa. Puddings. Many other things like gravy. Just amazing.
I have the Ninja blender, bought it on sale at Costco a few years ago. It's a beast! It is SOOO powerful. I love being able to make a full pitcher of smoothies for my family.
Maybe a single serve blender like the magic bullet would be helpful. We made our mom get it when we were influenced by the infomercial they had in late tv back in the day lol. I loved making things like Alfredo sauce, chocolate mousse, and smoothies in it as a teen.
Don’t buy a blender, buy the Magic Bullet, you can make great smoothies with that. They are smaller and cheaper. Love all your videos! Your friend Kathy from Montgomery NY
No, buy something that stays upright. You don’t want something that turns upside down and then might come undone and leak all over when you try to take it off the base.
I ended up with my parent’s blender after they both passed away. It’s an amazingly powerful, industrial type one that my dad paid up for. It works SO GOOD! Way better than any “regular” blander I ever had that barely chopped ice. I put frozen strawberries in and it purées them in my smoothies like a dream. Totally worth it for functionality, in my opinion.
I have never meal plan in my life... nor did my mother... we are both nurses and supper was just lucky to hit the table...lol... meal planning in my life and career is taking meat out of the freezer the morning of... I am amazed at the life and hours you put into the kitchen. Your family is lucky you can do it.
A produce man told me how to pick ripe honeydew. It needs to be tacky on the outside. Now if I could get a good watermelon and cantaloupe. Our fruit in the north, is picked almost green, so is hard to get good fruit. We don't have produce stands like larger towns. I live in Indiana. Love watching you mother your family, you do a good job.. I am a great. Great grandma.
Your video came at the perfect time! I’m meal planning today and needed the inspiration!….and I’m definitely feeling the back to school rush/stress. Our school starts in a week. I haven’t bought one single school supply yet for my kids. We are going tomorrow. I put it off as long as I can. lol Thanks for putting a little happy in my day! 😜
Kim, you should seriously double check the cost per ounce for meat at Costco compared to your local grocery store like Publix. Meat at our Costco is literally 3x more expensive than buying it even from wegmans which is an more expensive grocery store. I never buy bulk meat from Costco because the price is insane
Agreed! I think people get so excited because it’s Costco and you think everything’s cheaper, but definitely not the case. Have you tried a meat market? Those are cheaper!
I have a ninja blender and I like it because it came with a large top but then also like a personal size which is great for smoothies. I got mine at Sam’s and it was under $200
Thank you for posting early so I can download and watch at work. I love your cooking videos and cleaning videos! Not a fan of shop alongs but a big fan of The Domestic Goddess Kimberly Whisķ !❤
I got the almond danishes you said are really good from Costco today and oh my gosh you are right! I never would have tried them without watching your video, but wow they are so good!
I just did my curbside orders for Friday and am so excited! (Very tight budget, I go once a month.) Ordered cantaloupe and a golden melon. Yum!! We just finished a honeydew a few days ago. Yum!
The Vitamix blender is worth the investment. I use it for smoothies but also for a lot of other things. I’ve made peanut butter, hot soup and much more. I would definitely say to save up and get it when you can.
Kim, can you link the temu strainer in the next video’s description box? That looks like a decent size and you can see the dirt, love it. Ya same im guilty of each unwashed produced especially lettuce 😮
Kim, I ordered a reconditioned Vitamix for a steep discount. The motor is checked out by Vitamix. You get a brand new jug and tamper. It comes in the original box with the usual guarantee. Mine looked completely brand new. As you would say, “Steal of a deal!”
I bought a new blender a few months ago to do smoothies. I looked at the ninja's, but couldn't decide. I ended up getting one at Target. It is the Oster 2 in 1 blender system stainless steel. They are on sale for $45. It has a smoothie button and so far as worked great.
The Fannie May s'mores are top notch though! The original factory is in my hometown so when I find them where I live now I always buy them feels like a special snack lmao delicious!
We are.on the midst of a PCS. Living in our motor home while house is on the market and all our possessions on another state 5000 miles away. I miss meal planning. Lol
You’re so right , Kim, when you say there’s thousands of fruits/vegetables we have yet to try. I stopped by my local Asian supermarket and saw a pink pineapple. It was $7.00. Ouch, but do I want it? Heck, yeah! I finally made your chocolate chip cookies and my family gobbled them up. Thank you for the recipe!
My mind is blown on how you actually write out your grocery list. Frozen, bakery, etc. 🤯 I don’t know why I have never thought of it like that. Revolutionary!!!!!😂 (but seriously.)
You can find a nice blender that isn’t $300 Kim!!!!! I have one and it was like $120 and it works great and has for a long time but idk where o got it at is the problem bc it’s been so long ago!!!!
The best way to start your Tuesday morning is with Kim!!
Amen to that 🙌🙌🙌
AGREE, SHES SO FUN :)

“Deconstructed” is the word you were looking for. You were close! Love all your videos but love the meal planning the best!
It’s middle of summer. Fall don’t start until September 21. Still got about seven weeks till beginning of fall.
We got our Vitamix “refurbished” for half the price, like $150 and it’s been going strong for 10 years! So worth it. Really great quality. You buy it once and it lasts for a long time.
Added happy to my day. Thanks for always bringing it. To my Wads fam and Party People, YOU are NEEDED and LOVED! xoxo
Heyyyyy Kim!! Excited to spend time with u!! Currently been having contractions for 24 hrs trying to get into active labor! Glad for the distraction of a great Kim video 🥰🥰🥰
my rule growing up was a fruit or veg and protein when we had a snack
“Florals for Spring?…Groundbreaking” 😆 I could quote that entire movie by heart
"By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how that thrills me."
How good is it?? 😂❤
Took my 13 yr old to the mall for school shoes last weekend. 90s jeans and parachute pants with crop tops are back! When I see my high school fashion come back it reminds me of when 60s fashion popped up when I was a kid and my mom cried 😂

Kim can you please show a picture of the Castile soap you use to wash fruits and veges?? I’d really appreciate it. 💕💕
My Ninja blender would blend rocks it’s amazing and came with two cups so you don’t have to use the big blender to make smoothies.
Same! Makes the best smoothies. So smooth.
I just love that little hand that just pops out of nowhere. “Mom just one little piece of fruit please”😂
What makes me feel old, you ask? I remember nursing both my babies like it was yesterday, and my oldest will be starting his senior year in high school this year! Yep, I feel old… 😊

We have the nutribullet blender! Super easy to use and around $100 for the nicer one. Minimal pieces to wash and store.
I had a great time Kim. Ty for letting spend the day with you.
Agree! Love these shopping haul & meal planning blogs! Kim, you’re the BEST!❤

I have a $99 Ninja blender, and it works great.
I love watching all your videos- you definitely bring happy to my day!!🎉
I have the Ninja blender, bought it on sale at Costco a few years ago. It's a beast! It is SOOO powerful. I love being able to make a full pitcher of smoothies for my family.
I have to ninja as well, there is no way I’d spend 400 on a vitamix. I feel like my ninja is so powerful, I really do put it though the ringer too.
ninja professional blenders are amazing for the price! They are always on sale and I have had mine for 8 years now and still LOVE IT!!
Yes, velcro baby is the cutest
I make the strawberry fluff salad because of you quite often. My kids love it!
Maybe a single serve blender like the magic bullet would be helpful. We made our mom get it when we were influenced by the infomercial they had in late tv back in the day lol. I loved making things like Alfredo sauce, chocolate mousse, and smoothies in it as a teen.

Thanks for the tip!
Had a magic bullet, but didn’t love it. Only lasted a year or so. I recommend something a bit beefier
No, buy something that stays upright. You don’t want something that turns upside down and then might come undone and leak all over when you try to take it off the base.
@@MsGail61 Mine has never leaked, so I guess I have been lucky! Hope I didn't jinx it!
Kim get a ninja blender...under $100 but works so well. We’ve had ours for 10 years and still going strong. And yes, it crushes ice too.
Why after every wads video I watch I feel like cleaning cooking and grocery shopping 😂😂
Awesome grocery haul Kim! Everything looks delicious. ❤️
❤❤❤ the Ninja blender is a great starter blended! Does a very decent job blending and mixing everything!!
I ended up with my parent’s blender after they both passed away. It’s an amazingly powerful, industrial type one that my dad paid up for. It works SO GOOD! My mother inlaw makes an awesome dip. It's sausage, rotel, and velveta cheese.. served with corn chip scoops.. delicious.
Just what I needed Kim Thank you. We are all doing our best! Amen Sister
For blenders, I think I got mine from Ninja cookware brand for 100 and it works lovely!
You can do sous vide in your instant pot. Maybe you can try it that way when you do your Starbucks copycat egg bites recipe.
Thank you for posting early so I can download and watch at work. I love your cooking videos and cleaning videos! Not a fan of shop alongs but a big fan of The Domestic Goddess Kimberly Whisķ !❤
I prefer to prep produce after picking up the groceries and have considered cleaning the fridge before going to the grocer. Never done it though.
I got the almond danishes you said are really good from Costco today and oh my gosh you are right! I never would have tried them without watching your video, but wow they are so good!
I just did my curbside orders for Friday and am so excited! (Very tight budget, I go once a month.)
Ordered cantaloupe and a golden melon. Yum!! We just finished a honeydew a few days ago. Yum!
I haven't seen a Kodiak granola bars ad yet, just the product in recent shopping videos.
Always up for grocery haul, food prep, fruits & veggies with dip!!🎉🎉❤ Happy August Wadsworth family!!🎉❤🎉❤ Wolfgang cuties!!
I bought a new blender a few months ago to do smoothies. I looked at the ninja's, but couldn't decide. I ended up getting one at Target. It is the Oster 2 in 1 blender system stainless steel. They are on sale for $45. It has a smoothie button and so far as worked great.
??? Where did you get the strainer that used?
Thank you so much for all you share. I love watching you & hearing about your family!
Hi kim. I love your video ❤. Where can i find the recipe book that you are using in this video?
Kim, I know you don't like eating out, but if you have to pick a favorite restaurant, which would it be? What do you order?
Lol love Velcro Baby! I get wore out just watching you. I love meal planning. I have two bookshelves full of recipe books. I’m addicted.
Never been so early! Love your videos Kim!! They always make me so happy! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Wow! Busy, busy!
I saw the packaging for the 90s/early 2000s love spell from Victoria secret at Goodwill and it makes me feel old
I recently tried the spicy dill pickle chips and I am in LOVE With them! 🤤😍
The Fannie May s'mores are top notch though! The original factory is in my hometown so when I find them where I live now I always buy them feels like a special snack lmao delicious!
Great way to start our day is with you!!! Love all your hauls and sweet babies! Ohio loves you and looks forward to this .... Have a great day girl! 💞
The crunchy edamame beans are amazing! Amazon has them individually packed and other flavors
That is my favorite pencil for work ❤
There’s a ninja blender that’s like $100ish maybe like 129$ that works amazingly for smoothies.
I like cream cheese and marshmallow fluff mixed together for a fruit dip
Kim I love your video s and I love how you are always fun and Happy you bright all of are day
You can find a nice blender that isn’t $300 Kim!!!!! I have one and it was like $120 and it works great and has for a long time but idk where o got it at is the problem bc it’s been so long ago!!!!
Great video, Kim but then I love them all. Love your family!❤❤
