I was staying at the Moana Surfrider Hotel some years back in Hawaii and they had one of these guys who could play anything on the piano and sing. I always request something by Gershwin (and leave a nice tip). It seems these guys get a little tired of the usual "same old" requests and find Gershwin refreshing. I asked for "Lady Be Good". He said, "I have done that for a LONG time. Give me a minute to think about it and remember it. After a very short time, he did a terrific rendition of it. And then said, "I've got to play that more often!".
Excellent musicians ... but the audience only woke up in the end ... elsewhere the audience dances and applauds the whole performance. Congratulations guys. In the next video, also write the names of the drummer and bassist, they deserve it.
