- If you want a taste of Panama City, this local area has a lot of history. The shops on Avenida Central aren't fancy, but it's a nice walk down a traffic-closed street for a nice stroll near the Casco Viejo (Old Town). Easy walk from the Cinco de Mayo metro. However, I wouldn't walk there at night though.
That isn't rough. That looks alive. You need to see the third or fourth worlds in the US where the shops are boarded up, feces and urine is everywhere, people "live" in tents and many look like they are in a drug induced stupor. I want to move out of the US. Panama looks good for a number of reasons.
Winning the lottery is the only way.
I wish I would come to this city sometime, I have traveled in India
You should try visiting. It's a nice city.
Buen canal, aun no he visto el capitulo 1 de Poemas de un dictador en youtube.
Looks much more lively than in some other videos I've seen. Were you there on a weekend? Also, what metro stop did you get off of?
Oh, and thanks for the cake at 13:00 to 13:13 🍰😁
I think that was either a Wednesday or Thursday. It's pretty much like that all the time except at night. Most of the stores close at no later than 7 pm. It's right there at Cinco de Mayo Metro station.
That is the main street it is mostly commercial, about 25 blocks long. The side streets are full of nightclubs with beautiful $10 -$15 colombian and venezuelan girls.
Yeah someone told me about that but they said $20. LOL
More interesting than the more modern part of Panama City in my opinion. The modern part is beautiful but somewhat dull.
This in 1 km of avenue, close to old town
It's so sad to see that the people there are still wearing masks.
Yeah and Unfortunately it's here to stay. 20 years ago i saw some people wearing masks in Thailand because of bird flu which had happened in Asia many years prior to that time.
@@NomadicJayye2021 the combination of the music you selected plus all of the people with masks made for quite an eerie video. But I did really enjoy it and gave a thumbs up.
@@ronjames-music LOL....I wasn't trying to make it an eerie video, but I was trying to give it a "be careful" vibe to it with the music.
No es obligatorio
Not mandatory though
El centro Nuevo?
No entiendo tu pregunta.
Why are people wearing a mask ??
This was filmed toward the end of Covid.
Looks a lot like Haiti. I'm not sure about the safety issues, but I heard it has improved in recent years.
Really? Never heard that any area in Panama City looks like somewhere in Haiti.
@@NomadicJayye2021 Ever been to El Chorrillo or the City of Colon? Those places look like they are straight out of Haiti too!
@@Nutty151 But the area in this video resembles more El Centro in Medellin I would say, not Haiti.
@@guillermogouldburn763 Never been to El Centro de Medellin, but the demographics are different too aren't they? Like Colombians are one the whole fairer complexed than Panamanians, although there are Black Colombians too. But Panama and Colombia used to be the same country so there must be lot's of similarities.
@@Nutty151 if I had to go by what I see in this particular video I would say the population is mostly Mestizo. Now, I'm sure if you go looking for a certain racial group of people, there are places where you'll find them to be the majority in those places, just like in Colombia or the United States for that matter. If you go to Haiti and the people look like the people in this video, better check to see if you're really in Haiti.
Looks like Colombia to me, wouldn't guess it's Panama city.
You are probably right with a lot of these "El Centros" in Latin America. They all seem to have the same recipe. Quito Ecuador was the only one a little different because it had alot historical significance buildings in the background.
Bueno pa que sepa es Panamá 🇵🇦🧐
@@NomadicJayye2021 what percentage of Panama city is of African origin,?
@@briantafolla25633% according the resentliest census.
@@nemesionieves8900 I really never met any panamanians in california. They all go to florida I guess
