It would be really great to listen to those unreleased Samson tapes. I like the the music they played, plus Bruce's voice makes it awesome.

what i like about Samson is they were never typical metal, every track they did sounds totally different, very classic sound that was never replicated.

IM Killers and Samson Shock Tactics are two magnificent records. Same visionary greatness and pure and original music value.

I get the feeling Bruce would be more open to releasing unreleased Samson stuff with him on it, than Steve would be to release any rehearsal stuff for Maiden

I enjoyed this and I don't mean to be disrepectful but Samson didn't lose ground to Iron Maiden due to managment, allthough this is partially true, they lost ground because Iron Maiden were magnificent and their writing was conteagous making fans instantly. They diminshed everyone else around for decades.

Slipknot wasn't even in highschool. Literally the guys from Slipknot would have all been under 5 years old when Thunderstick started. He literally invented the shtick. THUNDERSTICK forever!!!!!

Barry usually likes to hide his face. Cool to see him. He seems to be a smart guy.

Great interview but I don't understand how you decided to "just to save on time" make him skip almost 40 years of his career after Samson and ask what he's doing now. It's not like it's a Talk show on regular TV or a radio show where you have to follow guidelines and time clocks. It would have been cool to hear stuff from him that happened after 1981
