From the Netherlands I am asking you all to have patience with Erik. The first half season at ajax was no success either but he did start building his successful team that the year after reached the semi finals of the champions league. If ETH succeeds, they're geniuses. If he fails, they blame his lack of PL experience. Win win for them.

As an Utrecht fan, I like Erik ten Hag. The years when Ten Hag was a coach, were great years for Utrecht. The style of play was phenomenal. I will always remember the match where we beat Zenit, as a small working class club.
Some fans were angry with him for going to Ajax, which is not a particularly beloved club in our city, to put it mildly.
However, to me it was a logical step for him, so that he could grow as a trainer, and of course financially. He did well in Amsterdam, and I'm excited to see how he does in the Premier league.
He is a bit of a weird character, but he knows football. Give this man time, and he will make Man Utd play great football. I'm sure.

He said something here that every single man utd player should listen to and take on board. Paraphrasing but when he was young he was already thinking about the team first not himself. You can achieve an awful lot when players are playing hard for each other, when your busting your guts to cover the space left by your wing back, when your making second third man runs to make space for your strikers, when your doing these things because you want your team mates to flourish, the personal glory follows that.

I dont see him failing in the near future with a proper squad of team-players. Our previous managers all failed in some department. Jose had fallout with players. Ole was inadequate tactically speaking. But I dont think ETH will have those problems. He's a smart man who knows how to control the dressing room.

We all Manchester United fans should wait patiently because based on what I have seen in Ajax Amsterdam, Twente, and Utrecht, this guy will bring us in 5-7 years to be one of the lions of Europe like we used to do. He makes players and teams in amazing ways as he always speaks about what is needed to reach outcome XYZ. Personally, do I think that his "in game" decision making is not as good as a Van Gaal, but he is fantastic in developing teams and making them super lean. Very impressive how he builds teams with quality football of its central defenders, wingbacks and defensive midfield.

This guy literally transformed a youth team Ajax & took them all the way to UCL semi finals.
He is an extremely competent coach. Ajax was beautiful to watch under him.
These over paid hasbins of players that he's got will send him to an early grave because of stress & blood pressure.

Let’s go, ETH! Dude is impressive - a good fit to United culture. He’s cut from the ilk of SAF & Roy Keane in terms of his strong personality, love proactive football and demand more from the players. Strap on, gals and dudes, and enjoy the ride!!

He just needs to clear out the garbage players…
Fred and Scott still playing means = zero trophies.
Lots and lots of work for this man.
Roll on to the 2023 season as this one is finished .

As of Today we have the worst squad in the top 6 and its not even close. We have a good 11 but as soon we get a couple injuries and players like Elanga and Wan Bissaka are starting then we are in trouble. If we finish 5th or 6th this season then lets not all get on the Managers back, lets back him and support him because i believe he is finally the right appointment and we can achieve alot in the next few years with him 🙏🏻. GgMu ❤.

A lot of fans saying that we need to give him time, personally I think at Man United we are different from other teams. Because of the legacy of SAF we generally want long-term coaches. I'm pretty confident Ten Hag gets at least 2 seasons of backing from the fans, especially after the shocking lack of backing he's gotten this summer window.
