I am a US citizen and so is my daughter, but my husband is in India and he is a citizen of India but is in the process of getting his green card to come to the USA. So for this, what kind of documents should he send me and what should he need to sign for my daughter's OCI? I will look forward to hearing from you. Where can I get the consent letter and how do we notarize my signature and my husband's signature since we live in different countries?
I could say the easiest solution would be to apply for her OCI from India when you are there. As a US citizen, she can typically obtain a tourist visa from the Indian embassy or consulate in the United States. The process for obtaining a tourist visa will require you to submit certain documents, such as a passport, visa application form, and proof of funds. You can travel to India with this visa and once you are there you can apply for her OCI in person or online.

My baby is two month old i am using black ink pad but it just come black because i think baby fingerprint is not clear so what should i do?
That's not a problem. If you think there is too much ink, take a light impression on a rough paper and then take the impression on a white paper while holding the thumb firmly. Also ensure to place a writing board or a hard cover book at the back of the paper while taking the thumb impression.

How many days ik take to get oci if application send by post
All OCI applications have to be sent by post and electronically. It takes around 3-8 weeks to get the OCI

Thumb print was not required for minor for passport in my case. However, thumbprint of a particular person will be same under any circumstances.

Take a thumbprint when they are sleeping. It's easy. Place a white paper on a writing board or a book to support the paper and then take the impression.
Country selected should be India or USA? OCI card is issued by India right? Also, can you clarify photo needs to be taken with any light color background or while background only?

The physical photo after print is 2 inch * 2 inch we need to place this photo on the form that we send to vfs? Is it correct size ?
It's correct size. Don't staple or use glue on the pictures. Just arrange them and put a paper clip while sending your documents to VFS
