the first person you should tell is your mom! She knows your body best and knows what’s best for you. I suggest you follow any advice she gives you about periods. (totally worth it!)

I got my 1st period at age 12 IN CLASS!!! I WAS CONFUSED NERVOUS AND EMBARRESSED ALL DAY!! worst part was I didn't know such things happen.. when I got home and mom saw my trouser, she called me in her room, gave me pads and told me how to put them + other tips. IT WAS THE WORST SCHOOL DAY EVER😭😭😭😭😭 not to mention the teacher in one class told me to stand up and read.......

I had my first period when i was 13
very helpful and informative, i didnt know about some stuff here or how to make a kit or that you even needed a kit, i'd just go with a pad or two everywhere

You are totally right! Especially what you said about resting is sooo true. I've been on my period since yesterday and I had to cancel my meeting with my bestie because I didn't feel really well. So don't blame yourself in case you feel tired and make sure to take some rest 👍

i got my first period at school when i was 10 years old and i accidentally drank a cup of COLD lemon tea (i have a habit of drinking cold,sugar free lemon tea) .i wish i had watched this video before i got my period🙁anyway,thank you for the video,i have learned a lot today🥰🥰🥰,and i don't think i'm telling my sister,she will laugh at me.

To answer your question, we all know chocolate makes us feel good.When taken during period, it balances out your mood swings and stimulates the happy hormones.
Also, dark chocolates may reduce the period pain as it's rich in magnesium which eases pain🍫✨

Tips for a kit
1. Never only have tampons it is NOT good to sleep with one inside
2. Have a couple different kinds of snacks u never know what you going to crave but chocolate is a good choice
3. Its good to have sanitizing wipes AND the kind that are safe to wipe👇
4. Definitely spare underwear at least one but if you can fit two it would be better

+a few doggy bags for dirty clothes or to wrap up used products

It's common, especially in the first 2 years after a girl starts getting her period, to skip periods or to have irregular periods. So don't be worried & it's better to check with a doctor

It'll be helpful if you learn how to use a pad or tampon now before your period starts. And carry a pad & a spare underwear in your school bag so you're prepared if it suddenly occurs. Hope this helps🤍

I don’t have a purse until my birthday and my school uniform has gigantic pockets in the pants so maybe I can put it in there but I’m scared the chocolate will melt
In that case you can keep it in your school bag in the lunch box till you get the purse

I have a question, why cant we have cold things like Ice-cream? :)
Having cold things in their period usually makes the cramps worse for most people as prostaglandin levels increase after it,causing the pain. Also icecream contains sugar which is better to avoid during this time
But if you don't experience any cramps after having an ice cream rather it makes you comfortable, go for it!
