Thanks for watching. The Zoos today are so much better than when I was a child. They now care for the animals so well and help protect so many threatened species. They important places to learn about the natural world. We do like the opportunity to see such beautiful animals close up but at the same time feel a bit guilty that there are captive. Whilst we have mixed feelings on zoos they do essential work in preservation and understanding of animals and their welfare.. This certainty looks like the animals are in a wonderful environment and they all looked healthy and well cared for. There were some wonderful plants here to enjoy too. We enjoyed this very much. It would be great if all creatures could run free of our interference but that will never happen. So many creatures and species have disappeared due to our actions that now many Zoos play an important role in helping some to survive. They are places to learn about and protect animals rather than simply satisfy curiosity. I must admit though that I do love to see these beautiful creatures when, like here, they are so well cared for and have plenty of space. The Zoo doubles as a Botanic garden so there is a wider variety of plants than might be expected. Thanks for watching once more. Best wishes to you both. Ivor & Robert.

Had plans made, flights booked and hotel secured for a trip to Miami area and was going to visit the zoo on that occasion...that was suppose to all happen in the spring of 2020...we'll we all know what happened then.
We were due to fly into Florida and I had a seven week trip planned. I had to cancel due to Covid. I rebooked everything as we came out of restrictions for the first time only to have to cancel once again. I had several things booked all over Europe too. Sadly the only places that would not offer refunds were in the USA. Hopefully my long awaited op will be soon and we will have some new content soon.
