- As we conclude this look back at this road trip we spend our last hours in Zoo Miami. Join us as we take a look at some of the residents of this wonderful zoo. While still unable to travel there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. We hope to be enjoying fresh adventures soon. In the meantime we will next look back on a trip to Quebec and the Maritime Provinces of Canada. We hope that you will be interested following us once again as we look back. Thanks for watching.

I have never been to Zoo Miami before. Such a beautiful place. Great close up video captures of the animals. Looks like the animals are healthy and strong and the landscapes are well cared for.

We have been to several US Zoos over the years and really enjoyed this one. It describes itself as a botanic garden too so the place is very pleasant to stroll through even without all those magnificent creatures. Thanks for watching.

@@IvorsTravels yes koalas spend 18 hours a day asleep in trees here often wondered why they dont fall out the tree

Looks like a very well-appointed zoo with lots of space for the animals to roam! Personal favourites were the woodpecker and the hippo's ears twitching!

Guys this looked such a great and big zoo ! So nice to have nice weather to relax looking around all of the animals. I especially love the elephants and tigers and gorgeous pink flamingos. Our daughters favourites are koala bears. Fabulous footage as always 🙂👍~ Anna

Good Morning Ivor and Robert pleased to hear that you may be back in action again soon, our thoughts and wishes are with you. Whilst we have mixed feelings on zoos they do essential work in preservation and understanding of animals and their welfare.. This certainty looks like the animals are in a wonderful environment and they all looked healthy and well cared for. There were some wonderful plants here to enjoy too. We enjoyed this very much. It would be great if all creatures could run free of our interference but that will never happen. So many creatures and species have disappeared due to our actions that now many Zoos play an important role in helping some to survive. They are places to learn about and protect animals rather than simply satisfy curiosity. I must admit though that I do love to see these beautiful creatures when, like here, they are so well cared for and have plenty of space. The Zoo doubles as a Botanic garden so there is a wider variety of plants than might be expected. Thanks for watching once more. Best wishes to you both. Ivor & Robert.

Thanks for watching. The Zoos today are so much better than when I was a child. They now care for the animals so well and help protect so many threatened species. They important places to learn about the natural world. We do like the opportunity to see such beautiful animals close up but at the same time feel a bit guilty that there are captive. Had plans made, flights booked and hotel secured for a trip to Miami area and was going to visit the zoo on that occasion...that was suppose to all happen in the spring of 2020...we'll we all know what happened then.
We were due to fly into Florida and I had a seven week trip planned. I had to cancel due to Covid. I rebooked everything as we came out of restrictions for the first time only to have to cancel once again. I had several things booked all over Europe too. Sadly the only places that would not offer refunds were in the USA. Hopefully my long awaited op will be soon and we will have some new content soon. You may find our next postings of interest as we are uploading some of our trip to Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. Thanks for your continued interest. Best wishes from the UK.
