Great review. For a full 10/10, just include thumbnails. Makes it easier to get your view on specific elements in the video, such as the keyboard, design, ports or performance.
Thermals and fan noise?...It may be a lot thinner than your old laptop but I bet it runs a lot hotter and noisier (fans) than your old laptop. Just returned a Dell XPS 17 because it ran really hot and had (to me) noisy fans which stayed on most of the time it was switched on. All this happened while only downloading all the windows updates. Dread to think how hot and noisy it would be if I did any gaming on it (which I don't). The XPS 15 has a reputation for running hotter and noisier than the 17 due to its less efficient cooling system.
I bought the XPS 15 just a few days ago and I am generally astonished by it's design (performance so far is great as well, I work with CAD and graphics AI, PS), one thing can't stop bothering me thoug... the carbon fiber... Have you (or any of you guys reading this) noticed slight, minor shifts within the carbon fiber pattern so that it's lines sometimes aren't parallel to the egdes of the carbon fiber field? This looks like the pattern was stretched differently or something. Let me know, I don't know if it' some kind of defect or just the characteristic of using cf on surfaces.
It's nice to see Jesus doing reviews these days. I guess what happend is - Jesus came to earth again and nobody noticed, couldn't convince anybody and had to find things to do. So why not youtube.

Nice this is what I need my old dell studio 15 is a heavy cumbersome one. The new xps 15 is right for me light, metal body etc 👍
