Kim thank you so much for explaining this!!!. I have an industrial and you solved my problem. I just kept stitching and stitching until I saw no more bobbin thread and I used a contrasting thread on my bobbin so I can watch my tension and sure enough perfection. Thank you so much for your video.

Had this happen today half way through quilting with the walking foot. I did change the tension settings and did a test swatch but I can’t get rid of the problem.

Back to the beginning: change to another needle, insert a new bobbin (clean out your bobbin area while there), rethread the machine, making sure that you lock it out first. Are you using the blue dot bobbin case? Reduce that top tension (again). Hope that starting from scratch will help to fix the problem. When all else fails, be sure to use the same thread in the top and bobbin so pokies won't show.

Not sure what is happening and it might be that you need to take your machine in for repair but first, check to ensure that your bobbin is in the correct way - we all make this mistake once in awhile 😉. Hold the top thread when pressing the needle up/down button to bring up the bobbin thread. If this still doesn't help, I think that your machine needs some help.
