Hey, man; just wanted to say that I am annoyed your channel hasn't gotten you more subscribers. Your content is good and your humor is right up dad-joke-alley. I'm not sure if you're doing this for side cash or just because you enjoy it, but I appreciate the effort you put in. Keep it up!
Great job on the play set project. Nice to see all the girls in on the project. Video is priceless as I enjoy your humor and make light of what seemed to be a pain in the butt when constructing the set. The bobcat and you, of course, dug a nice trench for the sewer line. Your operating skills are pretty good. Hopefully mine are as good when I start my electrical project that you and I talked about via email. I have a backhoe attachment on my 26 hp Kubota tractor that I haven't used much but have been practicing. I'll keep you posted and may ask for more advice as needed, if possible.
That’s an awesome video spending quality time with the family. And just letting you know that the future sewer line, well your water is going to outrun your poop to much slope to keep the poop flowing properly you need max 2.5 inch on a Ten foot pipe and a minimum 1.250 inch on ten foot pipe you can stair step your pipe to get the pipe down that far but over slope is not good the pipe will clog up will poop and paper.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC no problem I would rather see you get it right the first time instead of having to do twice. And thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us viewers
Two things. More slope on a sewer line is not always better. The water can outrun the solids making for a nasty clog. Same goes for larger pipe than needed. Second, check local codes on septic as adding more "bedrooms" to a septic system may require a larger holding tank and or field.
Great work digging that clean trench! Building that play set was quality time that you’ll never regret. I remember a playset build project with Mackenzie - one of my favorite memories. Now she’s getting ready to move into her first apartment for college year #2. Today, I get to haul a bed, couch, and boxes with her to the apartment and help her move in. I’ll cherish every minute of being able to help her with this next adventure.
Kyle, finished the video! Buddy, you are a great Dad! Awesome build, fantastic layout, girls love it, and extra points for the wife! Hard work does pay off!😉😏
From where I am sitting on the couch watching your videos working😂 “I think” you should have went at least 24x24 area for the “future” live in. That way you can make it a garage that fits big toys and then have an apartment above.
Bigger would be nice. Grade drops quick there so i was trying to avoid a bigger drop off for the play area. Plus my septic is right there too. But yes, the option for a garage would be nice.
Been watching your channel for a while, and this video is probably the best video I've seen on RUclips in the last 2 years. Involving those babies and doing things around your beautiful home with them is the best thing you could ever do for them, and yourself, (and Keystone girl). Keep it up man.
Thats fill on top of original grade, the black topsoil is your original grade..... bobcats are nice.... not herky jerky like the kymrons? good vid. spicer.
Kyle, I paused the video just to comment bout the sewer line. Choke the pipe in with stone on the sides, when you continue to your installation to the tank, it will keep it from settling side to side push from the ground cover on the high side of the ditch (eliminate cracked fittings in the future) and marking tape for future reference on the placement. Just a heads up to save you some grief down the road.
Nice job. That project looks great! Question about what I see at the 7 second mark of the video. larger fuel dispenser cans? Did I miss an episode where they were mentioned? Tell me more please or direct me to the video. Thanks. Enjoyed watching the big dig.
I laughed so hard I snorted my pricey Colorado beer out my nose. So for those that didn't get the reference, go to 13:54 of I Bought The CHEAPEST Golf Cart I Could Find... and study the side of the cart, THEN research Biffle's car. Sweet build Dad, you may just see the cart again.

Hope you having a profitable season bro, hey on that backfiring Wright (or any motor) try leaving it at 1/2 throttle minimum when you shut it off and it shouldn’t backfire. Has worked on every motor I have had that did.
And as far as no shirts being unprofessional….. while you are mowing it’s not a common point where you are interacting with customers, you are at work dirty sweaty and getting the job done efficiently. It’s not like you are showing up to an estimate with no shirt… that’s a time you know you will be interacting with them and that you would be respectful. People gonna hate, with the way those touch potato’s that leave the comments look I wouldn’t take my shirt off either
cinder blocks and playsets look like a bad combination off the jump, I hope you have some sort of padding in mind for those....if these scars could talk
Your drain fall is way off! 1/4" fall per foot would be 18" of fall over 72 feet run. NOT 31 inches, that's almost 1/2" fall, which is way too much, with that much fall, your liquids will outrun the solids and clog your pipes. It does depend on the pipe size though. 2.5" drain would be .25" fall, 3" to 6" pipe would be 0.125" fall. This insures that you don't outrun the solids in the pipe.
Im going to adjust the fall. I was saying the difference in the two pipes was 31” apart. But i was not aware of the water outrunning the solids. Thanks for the info

From a former plumber - You should be careful not to exceed 1/4 per foot on long runs, the liquids will out pace the solids.
