The best figure i have ever seen done, was by The Academy, from Birmingham. Absolutly fantastic! ver shrp movements, placement on the floor was PERFECT! and amazing facial expressions! --this was dont quite nicely as well.
@creb01 The Spanish Lady song is about the Irish seeing a Spanish Lady in town. Tell Me Ma is about a guy and girl and what he thinks of her. Their both traditional tunes.
how did you guys do by the way because it was absolutely fab!!!!!I can't believe the gents lifted up the ladies that must be so hard to put in a figure...exspecially with the music swithching all the time as well!
@creb01 Well They probably combined a bunch of Irish Music and made it one tune. I know two of the tunes you could find they may have the words though, when is Spanish Lady and the other is Tell my ma. Google them, or you can probably order music like it online if you look for Irish Dance music.
@IDance56781 The Academy was damn good... I think their choreography was really clever and interesting, but this was better executed... At least from where I was seated in the Balcony.
This is incredible. Everyone is so in sync and their stamina is amazing! They deserved the title!
Used to be a part of Claddagh in So Cal :) Watching this because I kinda miss dancing! Go Claddagh!
