I've stopped buying/lighting Fireworks for the environment, expecting but not knowing how bad they are for the environment. But anything burning can only be bad in terms of toxins and pollution. I'll continue celebrating my New Years explosionfree with some good food and awesome friends.
I would rank all of these things far above fireworks in terms of quality of life. Cigarettes might be nasty but at least they do something. Fireworks are also not chemically addictive...
