But since I'm skincare-obsessed, I wanted to try four of her products for you so that I could give you a completely honest unbiased review. I bought the introductory kit which I think is a great way to sample the product. I tried it for the first time today. So far, so good. I did notice a brightening. Will use the moisturizer and eye cream tonight.
1st I just want to say I loved your video & it was so refreshing to hear honesty and your cares and concerns as well as the up sides and talking/relating to the fandom aspect too…it just was so well rounded not heavily slanted one way or the other-Thank you!!! I just asked for Jlos Beauty kit for Mother’s Day as my youngest daughter is going to get married this July & I’ve been mainly bedridden 20 yrs only recently getting an electric wheelchair and finally moving into a larger place where I can use it indoors (old house I couldn’t open the bedroom door all the way with the 2bedsin it haha it was only a tiny 696 sq ft) so on good days I’m not stuck in bed -a new found FREEDOM-yes!!! I have lots of pain & health issues (parasites & mold) but the drs haven’t been able to treat it properly where my skin (that I use to get compliments on)looks terrible marking and little blisters all over I’m actually embarrassed and put on a lot of weight being bedridden for so long too & my hair has thinned so now you can see my scalp & if I could afford it I would by a human hair wig for the wedding when I meet all of their friends & his family for tge 1st time too. I’m shy as well so it’s overwhelming and I just was hoping my skin would look better -they sent the product but it wasn’t in a later plastic piece inside the box they just put it in their “gift” bag but there wasn’t ANY paperwork with it -NO Directions, NO Warnings as each product says read warnings on insert. I let them know and sadly instead of offering to send it to me or even in an email they said there is lots of videos and information on the web I can look at. Made me feel so unimportant like I didn’t matter now they got my money. I’m such a sap I actually cried after reading it triggered from past stuff. Anyways I agreed with all of what you said & I thought I can’t buy her products regularly as it’s just too expensive for me and I worry about the trash I’m only adding to (btw I never knew until recently that we sell our garbage and that so much if it goes to China in this one town-so sad too but that much of it isn’t able to be recycled either and of course you’re aware of the plastic waste that shows up all over the earths beaches & in marine life & is-so out if hand! I've been using the cleanser and serum for about 10 days now, and I'd agree that my skin felt extremely dry at first. I recently added the Blockbuster Creme and I've noticed that all 3 work much better when used together. My skin isn't dry and it doesn't have that 'taut' feeling anymore. I will say this, all products are on the pricey side, but the amount needed is so much less than other products. The cleanser, for instance, only a dime size amount is needed and really covers the skin nicely. I no longer need a toner/astringent after cleansing.
The prices noted in this review are more than what I paid. Perhaps it's because this is an older review.

I was very tempted to buy these but they are very expensive. Plus, after hearing the reviews I'm glad I didn't. Like you mentioned, she obviously used or did something else before these launched. There are so many facial treatments to firm the skin. Whether it is facials, laser procedures, etc this was not it.

I havent tried the products but the price point makes me mad. Would she be destitute if she made her products affordable to the average person? Even KKW Beauty is much more affordable and the quality is great. I'll stick with my Burts Bees. Your freckles are stunning by the way.

I called the customer service line to get clarification on the $89.95 a month for 3 months per 3 month supply and was floored! I went "Seems like JLO doesn't really need to charge that kind of money, isn't she already rich?" lol

I love JLo but let’s be honest: Her product line is a designer line just like Chanel, Clinique, Maybelline etc. Use products that carry the ingredients that are proven to work!
I do use it in the daytime, because of the SPF 30 and I apply additional SPF as well, but it’s a great texture product, that one is definitely worth the price👍🏻👍🏻 absolutely whipped nice!
And I do love the fragrance is not strong! Tatcha yes, High end oh yes luxurious! Undereye and Definitely genetic! Lol! Specially that I do have some Middle Eastern/Latina but my dark circles definitely from my dad side! Lol
It's marketing and money making! I'm a JLo fan but wouldn't purchase these products because my skincare purchases are based on active ingredients, research behind the products, and reviews. Just her launching it is a way to cash on her beauty. From what I remember, she was using some Lancer products & is devout to using SPF everyday. Gracias pero no necesita sus cremas...

Thank you for your review !!I used for 3 moths nothing else extra beside rose water mist. And every Sunday I do exfoliating with PMD and a face mask for pores and black heads and a hydrate mask and proceed to put on jlos skincare line. To be honest I no see much difference, I love the products from Yves rocher and Vichy and will keep them for good quality and good price plus I always use sun screen since I was little because I born in Coatzacoalcos veracruz Mexico and the sun there is almost every day and very hot. Btw Vichy face sun cream is amazing Matt. Excuse my poor English

Since you have gorgeous skin to begin with, maybe the difference might have been more noticeable on more mature, sagging skin, which is probably what the line was targeting. Your skin IS firm. But yes, it's pricey, but absolutely beautiful packaging. I think I am obsessed, and if it weren't for the fact that my mature skin is doing fine, I would rush to try this! Right now, I swear by l'oréal.

In my humble opinion - I think you shared a humble, intelligent, fair, honest and respectful opinion. It's your personal truth based on your personal experience. There's nothing more liberating then being true to ourselves and others.
I've never purchased her product but as anyone of us that's knowledgeable in basics of marketing, it's her branding name of why she's able to get away with overpriced semi good products. (It's her name and fancy looking jars what is selling). She probably got a excellent package deal with a company due to her name being marketable. If what product she was using prior to her marketing product was working, why didn't she market that. Obviously she was using some form of skin care long before these products. For her skin to appear so vibrant and wrinkle free, something was working before this came into existence, therefore would make sense for her to market that instead.
I don't have any problem with anyone marketing their products, I'm all in support of what they're selling as long as their product produces what it claims to do and they're truthful with their customers. That's "If" Jlo has professional skin treatments and fillers, then her product alone won't produce said results to the degree of which she claims it does, but then again to be fair to her I haven't researched personal reviews nor seen evidence by many claiming it's gotten rid of fine lines and wrinkles or that its dramatically helped their skin. I just don't think beauty products should be that costly, among other things as well. I'm in support of capitalism but there's such a thing as going too far with it, that's when it's going into rip off and greed zone.
If I had same ingredients as her product, fancy packaging and tried to sell it straight out the gate no one would be interested cause I'm not well known, however accept family and friends would probably purchase it. I will say this - if a product does actually produce excellent results for most, it will sell itself in gradual build up pace. Word of mouth does travel. If family and friends love it, if they're liked and trusted by others, those whom are interested in a good product and can afford it, will purchase it (that is of course at a reasonable fair price). Then their family and friends may be interested, etc... creating a ripple effect.
Jlo having darker skin, any decent product with a good moisturizer will glow. The glow in of itself can give appearance of a younger look as vibrancy is youthful looking. If we take notice of people that compete in muscle competitions, they use tanning beds cause when put on oil it exacerbates the rips and muscles, if their skin wasn't tanned it definitely wouldn't highlight it. Anyways in my humble opinion I do speculate Jlo gets high end skin treatments and fillers but I'm sure she also uses daily products to help preserve her skin. I don't think she's had plastic surgery, I don't see it. She also is very healthy as she takes excellent care of herself, being cautious of what she puts in her body, a regular exerciser and also just as importantly she's careful of what she puts in her mind. Constant stress definitely will effect the skin. When we eat healthy, stay hydrated, try to have a great sleep cycle, when we feed our mind and spirit with healthy thoughts, healthy people, music, environments, when we're not in debt cause that adds significant stress, etc..., the evidence shows in our eyes, skin, facial expression, posture, body language, personality and gait.
All that said - if the customer is happy with her product or if it's providing some results for them then I'm happy, cause I love to see people happy. Also when people are happy they want others happy.
It's not my right or business to dictate what constructive product people should purchase to bring them pleasure or good results.
I have a darker skin and the sunblock fits perfectly, the only thing I didn't like it because is quimical sunscreen No mineral or physical and since I have sensitive and mature skin it is not for me. The blockbuster moisturizer I wish would be fragrance free but still is amazing for dry and mature skin. Thanks for the rewiew, much love ❤ 🌻🌹🌺🌞
Being a JLo fan has nothing to do with the price of this product everyone has different skin types and this product works differently for everyone. it has been amazing on my skin I've seen a huge change and the prices are not that bad especially if you take the time to go on the website and buy a packaged deal. This product is amazing and I will be using it for years you pay for what you get and the prices are definitely worth it they are not crazy high in any way and there are specials and deals all the time.❤
You are absolutely correct about jlo aging and what products she’s using. This is not her daily skin care products. She can afford the high end brands and the actual products that can help her achieve that. In reality no one can compete with God. We will all age and we will all die.
The reason you’re confused by the serum price is that it used to be $79 but increased to $118 for some reason. Bizarre!

I have been using these products for months and they are fantastic! Not sure what country you’re in, but the serum not $118. I highly recommend it. I just waited for the 20% sale to purchase them and I have no regrets. A++++

Awesome review!! I actually bought the starter kit just to try it. I really wanted to love her products because I'm a fan of JLO but I do feel like there are better products out there. Still no clear results from the power duo I have been using the products for about 3 weeks now.

What I noticed with serum cause my mother uses the range is its for older people mid 40's. It didn't do anything for 20 year old me.
And it works very well for my mum. She has struggled to get a product that dose more than hydrate, for sensitive and dry skin.
I try the kit starter but maybe I will just return the bottle after I use it it seems the product is really expensive..

Thank you! I think you're awesome too! I unfortunately don't have just one favorite skin care line. I tend to curate from several brands. To name a few: OSEA, Tatcha, Youth to the People, Farmacy, Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, Derma E, Dermalogica, BYBI. I could go on and on :)

I think the price is cheap camper to what I spend to buy cream since very long time . I pay minimum $150 for moisturiser here in Sydney. In Australian dollars. The last cream I bought was $220 but it was not worth of $220 .a normal cream in the drugstore is around 60 dollars . Any way maybe I will buy the cream the one you showed. I bought into the line and wasn't happy returned all the product expecting a full refund just like they advertised but did NOT. I don't want this happening to anyone else they took my money and got the product back and they were almost full bottles. Very unhappy with product and customer service

The cleanser has made my skin so so so dry . I am using other products to repair the damage. And the serum is not helping with the cleanser made it so dry. Returning both of them.

Diffrent strokes for diffrent folks. It's the best I've used yet.. Don't expect to look all that it's a cream not plastic surgery ...

I like your review basically I’ll just keep using Lancome I use that all the time I’m a fan to but I don’t think she knows much about products but trust me all about her is that she says she hasn’t had any work done on her face and she has you know she has come on I’m in my 40s you get wrinkles and to say the olive oil did this come on now if you’re going to sell be honest.
You are too young to see any difference but for a lady of a certain age, I’m in my 70s , they do deliver the glow. I did subscribe and it is a bit cheaper as you pay over time. But I did not continue only because of price . Not good for a fixed income I did love it

The Moisturizer smells like her perfume JLO perfume …. Then scent is nice but I don’t get no glow with the serum 🥲 I’m 53 I really wanted to love it But I’m gonna stick with Rihanna products I really love them🥰
I think I’ll pass on JLo’s skincare line. I’ll stick with my Fenty. The price point is good and I get compliments on my skin all the time.

First able some products is not for all skin type when using product for the first time you always go for tester not the big one
Imma tell you guys somthi g this is pricey but If you really wanna glow I've been using olive oil about half a teaspoon extra Virginia after washing face way before she came out with this and straight Virgin olive oil will give you beautiful skin this product this not worth the hundreds thier asking try the olive oil by itself even a few drops after make up is done massage on skin check out your glow .real talk

My skin has felt a little dry.
I have tried these products & not only am I disappointed with the prices, I am also disappoined with the product. Seems like it gets flaky & balls up when using the whole line. Probably the Blockbuster cream. Who knows. I just know the price is crazy & the product is low grade. The only thing I like is the packaging.

I got the serum and sunscreen. Serum is fine, I hated the sunscreen, it keeps peeling, a lot of tiny white specs on my face. Its just a waste of money, I could’ve got so many things for 54$

Fraud. She had rhinoplasty done many years ago, her dr in a vogue article actually mentions she didn’t do Botox she does Dysport (same thing, different product from Europe), she has had very professionally done fine fillers in cheeks and under eyes and lips for plumping. She’s a huge fan of regular microneedling and other facials. Plus she uses spray tans and spf religiously. It’s money honey, not olive oil or her skincare that wasn’t around 10yrs ago to look this good. Kind of like she doesn’t sing most of her hits (she dubbed them), buys the songs rights with vocals (Google it) like Ashanti.

Don't forget her butt surgery. Jlo had a huge booty. She took a block off.. because at the Grammy in early 2000's they always made fun about Jlo arriving in two limos.. One for her and Diddy to share and the 2nd one for her booty. Go back to Selena. All these celebrities at her age look amazing because of money. Which I'm not hating. I'd get nose surgery and a few more others but Celebz coming off as they use these wonderful exotic creams is bs.

She has a particular diet water exercise that contributes to her maintenance of her toned physical appearance also expensive skincare treatments and facials it's is not that hard when you follow a fit regime if she had any fat on her she wouldn't look this way. Keeping fit helps people look great and besides you are fooled with all those pounds of make up she hides behind none of that is natural beauty but all enhancement. You give jlo too much credit. It's money and fake make up.
