I'm glad that a positive story about a Black love/marriage is trending, but I also think that the fact that a married person never committing adultery is rare enough to be newsworthy speaks volumes about the sad state of marriages in our society. There seems to be far more people willing to jump the broom than there are people who are willing to make the sacrifices that should come with marriages.

I have been married to a beautiful handsome man for 25 years. He has never cheated on me. There are good men out there. He was raised in a 2 parent home whose parents were married for 55 years before one of them passed away. He respects and honors family and treating his queen like a queen should be treated. I came from a single parent mother who had multiple men in her life. So when I met my husband I was not used to him being nice and not having alteria motives. And to top if all off my man is fine to boot! Al's right my man is happy as long as you respect him feed him and put it down in the bedroom. I still pinch myself because I can't believe it. Not to mention he's older than me by 12 years. Ladies don't sleep on the older men. Not to OLD though!

Claudia stated a valid point that positive faithful married men in a man's social circle influence healthy relationships. The goal of all men should be to remain faithfully married, which sets the stage for other men to follow suit.
