I knew this movie was on another level back in 1999 going to see it at Theater...black cast, successful portrayal of my people having great jobs and balancing love, friends, and marriage.....the whole cast beautiful people and they have all personalities and very relatable

Morris Chestnut gave hope for the brothers little darker than others...he showed the shade don't matter we can be bosses any complexion, have women drooling, and be positive uplift your people he ain't do no gay roles neither....I remember boys in hood, him and Steven Segal did film, then the best man I remember the women at movies going crazy at scene when Lance came off field the gang met him at club

I really wanted to like it but the whole WOKE crap with the absurd pronoun agenda just made my skin crawled , My IQ level was dropping by the minute and it really DISRUPTED the flow of watching a simple freaking show
So many kids and teens deal with it today. The last episode was special. There’s just so many intersecting dynamics that it’s good to see such a perspective. The bloopers at the end were sweet too💗
There's one thing I REALLY want interviewers (regardless of race) and Black actors to stop doing.
Stop explaining that a majority Black cast of a film or series can be viewed by anyone. They'll say things like "The characters are African American but it's a universal story so anyone should be able to relate." God. When they say that, I always roll my eyes. It's like, good Lord!! The story is about college friends raising families and living their lives.
Right Whyte cast movies don't specify they don't care.
