- A fantastic jam that I make every year. It is my husband's favorite jam😊 It is very easy to prepare and ready quickly. Jam cooked in this way retains not only its fruity taste, but by cooking it for a short time, you will have more jam 😊 This fruit has a lot of juice, so it is better and wiser to add something that thickens it a little. I usually add pectin, which thickens the jam nicely. Pectin is found in every fruit, but sometimes more and sometimes less 🙂 This way, with the addition of Pectin, the jam is cooked for 1 hour and you really have a lot of jam. Without pectin, you have to cook it for about 3-4 hours so that the juice evaporates and the jam thickens on its own😐 I think it's completely useless. Waste of time, work and money for electricity/gas. It's like putting fruit in a juicer and then throwing out half the juice🙂😐 Try it friends, this jam is really amazing!!!
We need:
2.5 kg of mulberry
1.2 kg of sugar
3 tbsp lemon juice
25g of pectin
