The story of how I Conquered ALL OF BRITAIN as the MOST POWERFUL DYNASTY in Crusader Kings 3? You haven't heard it? Well sit down, grab a refreshing mug of mead... and hear the HAESTEINN SAGA!
In this video and Crusader Kings 3 full playthrough series, Koifish will play as the Viking Norse legend Jarl Haesteinn, and playing as his dynasty from the start of the game in 867, all the way to the end in 1453! A complete Crusader Kings 3 Mega campaign! All with the goal to create the STRONGEST and MOST POWERFUL Dynasty in all of CK3!
And in this second episode, we play as the the son and heir of the founding father Haesteinn: Ragnarr Haesteinnsson! Our first goal will be to conquer ALL of the great empire of Britain, and to cease the English, Scottish and Irish Isles all for ourselves!! No shore is safe when the sons of Haesteinn and his raiders come to ravage, steal and plunder!

He is the best character at game start to do basically anything you want to do. Asia, Africa, India Dont matter it’s all fun with the Jarl

The kings don't want you to know this, but the monks at the monasteries are free. You can take them home, I have 458 monks.

I suppose it's true what they say about rebounding into addiction. You don't fall a bit, you fall HARD. He began by playing him, took him to Africa and Asia. Then brave Koifish found sense and stopped. He found joy in other places. And now he falls back and makes Haesteinn an entire dynasty that will eventually conquer the world. i've been playing as Abyssinia recently, has been a really fun playthrough in a different than normal area. Made it into a huge empire, one of the few christian realms in east africa so lots of easy holy wars, would recommend it!
Koifish should try playing William the Conqueror as he is technically a descendant of a viking

The Normans. Vikings who kept raiding France until the king paid them to stop and settle down instead, so that nobody else would try to raid them too.
He actually did something very similar in CK 2. And that series was an absolute blast

That's usually how my viking adventures go in Britain. If you leave England alone to long they get strong. Way to stick it out in your war against England! We are proud of you Koifish; to face such adversity and prevail. How heroic! The bards shall tell tails and sing song and the subscribers shall raise a rune stone in your honor!

I was mindblown when you went for Scotland and England at the same time… and then you died! The struggle for northern England in the years after that had me stressing on your behalf. Nice series 👍

I'm really enjoying the Dynasty saga playthrough. Not enough ck3 youtubers do full dynasty playthroughs. Usually just one ruler or a specific goal. Really looking forward to what twists and turns are coming

At 0:35 , the title card has Japanese text at the top that reads ヴィンランド・サガ , which is "Vinland Saga". To make it Haesteinn Saga, you should replace it with the text "ヘイスティン・サガ"
Legend has it, that when Haesteinn dies in game. He conquers Valhalla before his funeral is over. And by the time his son's reign is over, he has snatched Asgard from the rule of Odin himself.

@23:44 England is impossible to take when from 17 units of MaA,10 units are light infantry and 5 are bondi Koi. 10 units of varangians would beat them easily.

For the next Haesteinn dynasty video you should focus on building out your Viking daycare program, just abduct random children from around the map and make them Jarls, kings, and queens in Europe
I think most players avoid Kin legacy, since it mostly useless: especially if you have concubines and accepted male adultery. There is an another problem: with such settings your dynasty will multiply beyond reasonable numbers even within just 100 years or so. That has a big toll on game's performance, something Paradox wasn't able to fix. If you play a long campaign the number of your dynasty members will go into hundreds or even thousands, and the number of all characters in the game multiplies as well. In a result, you may have difficulties running your game (and this is regardless of the hardware you have, Paradox games get sluggish in long campaigns on any hardware).
