Over 7 minutes to say you want a bigger bike.
@@Vulcan_Tech I guess first hand knowledge is best.
🤣😅😅
Actually it was less than 5 minutes
i have owned a vtx 1300r since 05, best bike ive ever had
I had an 02 1300r and it had over 100,000 miles on it and I sold it but not because it was giving me problems but because I had to .The only thing I did to it was rebuild the carb 1 time due to ethanol .Well other than changing oil, brakes , tires obviously ,,Oh and they were assembled in Ohio .
These things have regulator issues and the speedometer is always wrong
*high fives* Me too
I love my VTX
I've had a 2004 VTX 1300 for years and it's better than any Harley.
I hate videos when someone talks through the whole thing but never actually says anything.
Yeah heavy click bait vibes for sure.
a trick : you can watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Lee Ford Yup, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :)
He said plenty. Maybe you could show us how you would do it better.
@@russelldevane5434 plenty of what? Did you perceive something of worth in that diatribe the rest of us missed? apart from the fact he gets a boner over 1800s I didnt catch one worthwhile thing
05 VTX 1300R going strong here! 70,000 miles and hopefully 70,000 more! Regular maintenance and she loves to go!
The real reason they posted the video:
They have one 1300 and 10 1800's they cant sell lol
Cory Lane i think you’re looking for any excuse to make yourself feel better about your low powered cruiser!
Who can’t sell 1800’s they sell themselves.
The 1300's sound better than the 1800, the 1800 has flaws with the motor because it is designed different. I had an 06 and I loved the bike, 2 up on the bike and put 2500 miles on it in one trip loved it. Unfortunately later that year a drunk driver ran us off the road and killed my girlfriend the was on the back
@@danielfinney4295 damn man, sorry for your loss.
@@giarc0 thank you
Bought my '07 VTX1300R new in 2008. It's a rock solid bike with about 45000 miles now. Always been dependable and just keeps on going.
I've got a 2005 VTX 1300 with over 100,000 Miles on it. Used it as a touring bike and muscle bike. Been having some issues lately but after 100k miles needs more maintenance than usual. Still tips like a monster and reliable is solid.
I ride my uncle's 05 1300. Thing has been all over America, nearly 150k miles now. In the past three years since I've been the primary rider, it has required 0 maintenance. Even being run low on oil basically its whole life (dipstick on kickstand instead of standing up). He says he doesn't trust it but man it holds up well so far at least, love that bike
I’ve got an ‘03 with 22,750 miles so 100k miles isn’t a concern yet, but is it hard to replace a motorcycle engine when that time comes?
Muscle bike? I guess the mighty VMAX should be worried?
I love my 05 vtx 1800r2 it has 70,000 miles on it and will easily go another 70,000. It’s customizable and will crush everything in its class
I just started my journey as a motorcycle rider and a VTX 1300 is the first one I came across that fit my 6’4” frame. As a newbie, I do wish it had a gear indicator to help me keep track better, but I love this bike! Maybe one day I’ll upgrade to an 1800, but I don’t see that happening for several years to say the least.
I like my 1800 vtx. I'm 5' 9" 150 lbs retired construction worker. I've owned 600 and 1100 shadows. The 1800 is by far the Cadillac so to speak.
1800, newbie rider, rides smooth, from what I've heard I was terrified but respect goes both ways and definitely respect the 1800 and I love it, it's just a bigger sound and 100% smoother ride
Hey man, If you don’t mind my ask how much did you weigh learning to ride it? I’m 6’4 too and I’ve been looking at it as my starter but i only weigh 160 so I don’t want it to be crazy zippy.
@@ashtonmiles4208 Get a Royal Enfield 650 interceptor. They are ultra cheap, and extremely reliable, not a crappy bike. Counterbalanced smooth motor and is the best looking motorcycle being made that isn't an expensive and very heavy cruiser. The Royal Enfield won't scrape pegs, or floorboards when you corner, and it's going to be about 150 pounds lighter so it's going to be much easier to move around. You can't really even push a 600 pound motorcycle, they feel like a bit chunk of solid lead. I am riding a Suzuki 1300 and I can barely push it, and it's 580 pounds, and I think a VTX is 75 pounds heavier. Seriously, if you have to park the VTX1300, you won't be able to move it once it's parked, it won't be going anywhere. Moving a 600 or 650 pound motorcycle when you're a beginner is just not safe. A 400 pound motorcycle feels light and nimble by comparison and you can actually push a 400 pound motorcycle if you run out of gas.
Gear indicator isn't something you'll look at after two years of riding. You'll learn the bike and your brain will know what gear you're in without you thinking about it
I had my 05 VTX1300 dyno tuned with a jet kit, a K&N air filter and Vance and Hines pipes. The set up dropped a couple of lbs and added some power but for everything to work right the dyno tuning is the way to go. It’s not the fastest bike by any means but it’s plenty for me
for every one who just doesn't understand this is a satire video. The vtx 1300 is a great bike. get over yourself
I just bought a VTX 1300r today, 04/06/2021.
Thanks to SRK cycles for the knowledge on how to buy used, new, from a dealer, etc. he also helped me purchase by first street bike which was a month ago and it was a 750 shadow aero. I literally outgrew that bike in 2 weeks. 🥂
I sat on a 1800 after riding one of these and my legs felt spread apart and uncomfortable because the tank felt wider. So the 1300 felt better to me.
I'm totally happy with my 1300.. Coming from a Hayabusa, ivve been 200mph.. Don't wanna go back.. I'm happy in the slower world of not having to dust state troopers because I made a mistake...
I have a busa ,now I want a sec bike it was between this , the new model
Stupid reason.Obviosly 1800 will be quicker and will have more torque. It will be heavier and will drink more.People buy whatever they want.1300 is great looking and sounding bike, enough of power for most of riders.
The fuel-injected 1800 will get lower mpg than the carbureted 1300? I'm getting a VTX 1300 today and don't expect better than 35 mpg.
"enough power" LOL bahahahaha A Ninja 250 beat it to 60 mph and around turns! Just for kicks, the 1800 is almost 2.5 seconds faster to 60 mph than the 1300.
The 1800 is a great bike for someone coming over from sport bikes. The power is similar to a 600. But the torque is what makes me happy. Only thing I miss about sport bikes are the turns. But I’ll tell you what. A cop don’t bat an eye at me when I speed on the cruiser. On the sport bike you’re pulled over just for being on it.
KoKo Beatz I can attest to that!
I agree, and also another reason that made me trade my 1300r for an 1800 f3 was being carbureted. I hated it in colder days, nothing beats fuel injections. The 1800 pulls fast but you have to be careful cause if you can't handle the power it might throw you off. Cool video!
Talks a lot, but doesn't actually say anything.
i also get paid to do it
100% agree! oho should I add that there is actually more than 3 buttons lol
Yeah, I'm not going to wade through the whole thing to get to the clickbait. Here's a thumb's down for the video.
Speaks like a novice...must be a novice.
he aint talking about shit
I'm thinking about getting one to go with my 1800N. Good strong power with gobs of torque. Love it.
I owned a 2004 VTX 1800 for 8 years. It was "Illusion Blue P44P also called Pearl Chromium Purple" and it was the best cruiser I ever owned.
I have the same bike/color '03.
Ive got an 03 1st year. Great 2nd bike easy to service and maintain.
Its quicker than the Fury as the sungle CV carb allows you to wring it out. Fury not so, flame out shift points built in to the ECM limit acceleration in all 5 gears.
2 years and 4 months later I still love my 2004 vtx1300c thanks Sean your test drive videos helped in my decision in getting this over a sportster.
Like they say...
Half the price and twice as nice.
I got my 2007 Honda vtx1300c and my buddy got a harley-davidson sportster 1200c 2 years ago and let's just say the motorcycle jack stays at his house I never need it
I bought my VTX 1300, brand new in 07, and not a single mechanic issue, other than the standard, battery, breaks, tires. Great bike.
biggest draw back to my 1800 R is how heavy it is 800 lbs, but yeah the POWER is great. don't really use it for city riding. that's what the Magna is for
Whoa! I'd give my eye teeth for a Magna. I got the Venox in 2005 which was originally the VT250 Magna. They were a top seller in Asia and India.
Cool video. My 2005 VTX1300R (V&H pipes) with 26,000 miles rides today like it did brand new. So much so I've decided to keep it, although I just bought a 2012 Road King. The 1300R has been great. Apart from tires & fluids... it just kept on keeping on. AS for the VTX1800. After a few years driving the 1300 I got an extended loan of a VTX1800. It gave me a great opportunity to decide it wasn't worth it to upgrade. 99.9 per cent of the time (the way I drive) (moderately quick) the 1300R gives me everything the 1800 would. But the trade off is the 1800 is heavier, and you kind of end up lumbering along. I think that unless you're a real full throttle/flat out/need all the horses-and-then-some guy... stick with the 1300. Great bike, phenomenal value for the money. You can pick them up today for $4,000 or so, with often under 15,000 miles.
I have a vtx1300s very pleased with it. Over the years Iv owned many brands. The last 3 were new Harleys had the roadking the fatboy and street glide nice bike's. This time i wanted something that just turn the key and go owning a Harley is very expensive. This vtx is very all i need.
Dave A Just installed a Batwing Fairing on my 2010 1300 Sabre had to switch the signal lights left to right for the new fairing but they are pointing at 1:00 how do i correct this problem
Thanks
Word of caution... I have a friend that had a VTX 1800 and he's ridden bikes for years and years, and he said it almost got out from under him several times, to the point that he got rid of it. 1800's are not for beginners or even a step up from beginners... Very, very, experienced riders might consider an 1800. Same thing for Suzuki M109R's... Too much power for some people...
Just picked up an 1800s from a co-worker in near mint condition. Never even ridden in the rain, still has the stickers on the tank type condition. I agree, I still haven't pushed it as far as it will go. As long as you're not completely bogging it, any gear, it's on.
i went from an 1100 saber to an 1800. Had no issues. Ran the piss out of it. It got totaled from a kid hitting it at the gas station. Im on triumph rocket III roadster and it kind of scares me
I'm a beginner rider and I picked up an 1800 last month. There is definitely a learning curve to riding one. The biggest issue isn't the power, it's the weight. Tight corners at low speed can be tricky.
i have ridden sports bikes for 40 years I find my
m109 slow compared to bikes ive ridden your right the bikes a bit heavy around corners but It needs a bit more power
for yours truly a sprightly 60 year old
Nahh.. I started with the VTX1800 as my first bike and my first run ever on a bike. It's all about common sense and taking it easy and get your balance which you need on all bikes. Respect the bike and your own skills and you'll be just fine.
Honda's are great, reliable machines!
I ride with a friend that has a 5 year old Interstate 1300, the bike is drop dead gorgeous and fast enough!! I ride a HD , SGS and he gets more attention because a lot of people think it's a custom made bike. Honda hit it out of the park with the Fury, and Interstate; raked front ends, swooping gas tanks etc ...basically what we all used to do to our Harleys...its a chopper look that is low, dependable and comfortable, which none of my past HD choppers ever were lol
I been riding my Interstate 5 yrs w/my Harley buds and know exactly what you mean
Well that is your opinion, I'm 5'6 and it fitme like a glove. K&n filter adjustable carb needles and free flow pipes can turn it into a little rocket. More fuel economy than the 1800 less heavy and more maneuverability. It's a matter of taste. 9 years with it and I won't change it. No way.
tl;dr You shouldn't get this bike because the 1800 is faster. That's some awful clickbait.
DarkKingBowser sold me lol.
In terms of accessibility, I'm sure the 1300 is fine. I've got a 750 Shadow which is smaller in engine size than the 1300, but I wouldn't mind a 1300 over my 750.
What exhaust does this bike have? I love the sound of it
I'm owned of these for bikes for 6 years
One of the best bikes I ever owned!!!
First off, if you are after "speed" why would you buy a "cruiser"? Doy. I can do 120 MPH on my VTX 1300. Will it get to that speed as fast as a Decati will? No. But why would we compare a Vette (Ducati) to a LIncoln Continental (VTX 1300 or 1800)? It's plenty fast and gets me up to 60 mph faster than any car will and it gets 45 MPG on highway driving where my care gets 21 MPG. Nuf said.
Jeffrey Cranston I have hit pavement at 50+ mph...twice. Once with sand on a curve..the other when broad sided by a deer in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Fast enough. They both hurt so a cruiser is more than fast enough for me.
Sorry brother but 1300 doesn't compare one bit with the 1800 nuff said
Because unless you're going on curvy road, a powerful cruiser is fine. Maybe you just want to drag race. Who knows. Why does Hoss Boss exist? Nobody needs 400+ HP on a motorcycle, but they are basically drag racing bikes. If you can afford it, sure, why not?
I pegged the speedo needle at 130 and it kept picking up speed. just once though. life is fast enough.
i love that bike, my dad has a 2003 vtx, still runs ;like a clock
I went from a KLR 650 Adventure Dirt/Street bike... to this bike and I love it. Simple and comfy.
others have mentioned it but i want to reiterate...please replace the steering head bearings with tapered bearings (all balls). they are $30 on amazon and takes a novice 2-3 hours to replace. it would be very irresponsible to sell that motorcycle without fixing that death wobble. also if you put aftermarket pipes on that bike you need to remove the pair valve or it will backfire like crazy. i got a 2004 vtx1300s back in march, spent about $200 and a couple weekends in the garage getting her running perfect. everyone complains how heavy the 1300 is but i actually enjoy the extra weight since my commute is 50 miles of highway riding.
ddunlap86 Just bought a VTX. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the heads up. I'll take your advice. Death wobble is no joke, I almost missed one of my birthdays from a death wobble years ago.
I had this same issue an old 81 cb650... I am looking at upgrading to a 2006 vtx1300 soonish, comes with a bunch of extras too, Is it just the factory bearings that are not that great? The bike I am looking to buy has similar mileage as the one in this video... Should I be doing this as well?
Own this bike and I love how you can hear the speedometer plastic window buzzing even on this bike too. I guess they all do it. It’s annoying.
Hard to beat the 1300 VTX for what it is. Love mine....
@elliot dobson The best I've had on my 05 1300C was 52mpg - but I usually get 45.
@@worpd_gamer270 I used to get 45 until I fixed the carburetor up a little, now I'm about 38 ish, but you can't catch me!
@@Dumbass_mechanic I wouldn't mind adding more spunk (not that it NEEDS it) to my VTX. What did you do to the carb?
@@worpd_gamer270 decapitated the airbox, shimmed the needle, set the air fuel screw properly, and cut the diaphragm spring. K&n filter, straight pipes (cobra speedsters with the baffles taken out) . 205 65 15 Goodyear assurance tripletread car tire. I dont need an 1800.

I am the proud owner of an 1800. I've owned it for almost ten years and am loving it! It handles well and is also the first bike I've owned that was fuel injected. Makes a big difference.
I test rode a VTX 1800 and at 5'9", it was a bit much for me...
I love my 02 vtx 1800s. 1k$ and a little tlc. Very powerful
You guys are crazy for riding them bikes!
Had a choice to buy an vtx 1800 or a 1300 for my first bike about 10 years ago. Chose the 1800 and I never, ever, regretted my decision.
Commenting without watching. Snap judgement...I owned a Soft Tail for a number of years. Nice bike. Some expensive but not serious repairs coupled with major depreciation and then needing a major top end job ... Sold it for $ 2,500.00. An 11K loss. Bought a beautiful VTX on the Spot for $2,500.00. Loaded. Hard bags. Full windshield. Fantastic performer and the ride is so comfortable. Again..I liked my FLSTC but the VTX S model is much more bike.
Note..I have many years (50), miles and bikes of various makes and models...this VTX rates as No. 1.
Honestly ..I love this guys attitude..he seems honest and I agree with him..great man love it..any chance the 1800 can be replaced on a fury 1300..same engine ?? Just displacement is different?? Or a throttle body from 1800 fit on a 1300 vtx..curious
I have to agree, that's why I got one, I thought the 1300 was absolutely perfect for me...for about 10 minutes, then I tried an 1800, it's a completely different bike, they look similar but there's a lot of differences, mainly: it's an 1800(hell yeah brother!), it's fuel injected, has a very cool braking assist(some like it, some don't, I think it works great), and THAT SOUND! IT's primal, visceral, it connects to that caveman brain, and says, "we make fire now!"
Does the 1800 sound good? You like the sound better?
I have a 2003 Honda VTX 1300 S. I have 18" apes on it and Vance and Hines pipes. I'm a big dude at 6'3" and 300 pounds and it fits great. The stock bars cramped by shoulders a little bit cause they were to low, hence the apes. It sounds great with the pipes on it too. It's not a Harley rumble but it is definitely good to listen too.
@Roger Balcer yeah, i get the same. some times i just say, hey thanks.....
I rode an 06 vtx for 5 years and put 52000 miles on it. Overall great bike. With the right pipes I think its the best sounding metric v twin out there, even better than the 1800 vtx. Easy bike to work on.The handle bar shake is quite common, and usually shows up between 40 and 50mph on decel as you drop to around 45. You can only feel it if you take your hands off the bars. Better steering head bearings is the fix. Never replaced mine, I just held on to the bars.
I put some progressive front springs in the front forks with "All Balls" head bearings, What a difference!! If your going to keep your bike 1300 or 1800 this is great upgrade.
I saw his bars shake in this video part way through, he quickly put his hands back on the bars. Tires make all the difference in my experience. If you do a lot of hard front braking, it wears the tread funny, and also having low pressure in the tires when you go riding (very common) ruins the tread pattern and creates a shake when you're slowing down, I had this happen on a Ninja. I have the same bike now with new tires and it doesn't have that shake at all. But I had worn tires after running them under-inflated for a long time, and it developed the shake. You really have to check your tire pressure every week on a motorcycle because a tiny wisp of air loss will cause a 5 psi drop. Low air pressure overheats the tread and ruins the tread. At 42 psi, the tires run cooler and don't get gooey and they last a lot longer, because they are running cooler. Also, some tires havee defective tread patterns and should be recalled. Like the "3D Storm" tires, they are one of the worst and cause some bikes to have a speed wobble for no reason. Switching to a known good tire with good reviews on your exact bike, is a good way to prevent a speed wobble. (FYI replace the steering head bearings, because you need to be safe!)

Love my m8 107 fxbb.
I love them both but I will say from experience Honda’s have less problems
Heads up the vtx 1800 is top heavy so it's gonna take a lot more strength to maneuver when idle so yea not sure if the 1300 is the same but I take it it may be alittle lighter
What are the best sounding, loudest pipes to put on a VTX 1300?
I enjoy the slimmer more maneuverability of the 1300 in city and the 1800 on long cruises
Would this be a good beginner bike for a 6'4" 320lbs man?
Ok, little confused on the go/no go on these VTX 1300s. Two srk videos say yes great choice another not a great choice?
Bought a 2007 VTX1300R in 2015. I had wanted a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 or 1600. Couldn't readily find one, but came across the Honda and couldn't pass up the price. It's been a great bike so far...no regrets. It's not too big or too small....not overly powerful but not underpowered. Just a great all around, comfortable, reliable, great looking, and good handling bike.
Because the 1800 is a much better bike. Buy the bike that kicks ass or buy the bike that sounds harley ish. Dont be a lemming who has to sound harley ish. If you need that, just buy the Harley, and their T shirts, and matching underwear, and the bubble bath, and the condoms, and the tv dinners.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that's the best one I've heard thus far!!
😂😂😂
What is definition of quick vs fast? What is your point?
The 1300 has a much better sound due to the single pin crank & handles a bit better.
You're the only one in the comments that knows this. It took me forever to find out that the 1300 is different, because it's actually really hard to find the information. I had to google for hours until the light bulb clicked, because the reviews never mention it. It doesn't really matter how awful the single crank pin is, and it is awful because there's no way to balance it, because it's neither 90 degrees, no 0 degrees, it's just a totally random firing order that causes the engine to shake violently from the front to the back of the bike, which shakes the bars and tires from front to back. But as it turns out, Honda put a counterbalance shaft to counteract that vibration and put an enormous HEAVY crankshaft in it, to quell the vibration further. Front to back vibration isn't actually bad, because it only really causes a problem if the bike is not moving, according to FortNine who made a video called "Why millions of people ride Harley Davidsons." He says the front to back vibration goes away when you're moving, because it's added into the motion of the motorcycle. Clearly Honda and Suzuki are not as brave as Harley or Indian, because they refused to use the single crank pin on their VTX1800 and Suzuki Boulevard 1800.
Well then Sean, you might as well go for the 2000 cc. or larger.
Love that they put a video on why this is the best bike
Love the videos brother. I am a new rider looking to purchase my first bike. Im 6'1 at 240 lbs. I really want the honda phantom, but worried its too small and I will grow out of it quickly. Do you recommend to start off with the VTX1300??? Thanks for the great info again!
Well... It's 2 years later, what did you get?
@@BudsCartoon first bike was a Yamaha 1100 cruiser. Then tried the sport bike life with a triumph speed triple. Finally, ended up with a Harley Softail Deluxe w/ apes.... I'm stopping at Harley. Nothing else like her :D

I'm checking out a 1300 and an 1800, I'm an experienced rider and I'm trying to aim for the 1800 but just checking out everyone's opinions
Naught one love it takes flight real fast sits angry and I have chromed out front to back top to bottom white walls and alloys chromed
would you recommend this to a beginner?
The 1800 is considerably heavier.
This is the first video I've ever seen without words of wisdom. But still great video. Absolutely love your videos. I have a 04 vtx1300c
Had my 2004/VTX 1300 since '05, 78K miles. Easily maintained, good on gas, handles awesome. Awesome power and pickup. I should make a video titled "Why not to listen to this guy!"
I’m cool with my 1300. Love it
I bought my VTX 1300C in 2005 off the showroom floor with Strait Cobra pipes. With My body @ 5'9 @ 185lbs, my bike dropped into 4th gear on the HW can hurl me like a sling shot at any given point I wish with ease. I understand 1800cc would have more displacement, but I don't see it worth the extra cost.
Give us some stats, mpg, hp, wt, etc ECT ect.
Vtx 1300 vs Vulcan 1500 classic I can't pick... Help ???
both beautiful bikes - I don't think you could go wrong with either.
The speedo looks like an old parking meter ..lmao..
Maybe the driver has Coronavisu????
Didn't the 1800 have problems with cracked frames?
What camera do you use? I like your video without the noise of the wind.
Just bought one, added Cobra slip ons and a Daymaker headlight. Love it!
I just bought a 2004 vtx1300c. It has stock pipes. Got a model number, or part number or a video link for the Cobra slip ons? Thanks Honda Brother! Really enjoying this bike!
Awesome review having to choose between 1300 and 1800. You made my decision easy thanks. Guess I'll keep saving and get the 1800.
1300 is plenty of bike.. lots of torque and plenty of top end power
I have a 06 vtx 1300 it's a amazing bize I'm 6'4 bout 340 I'm looking at getting a new bike I'm down to a 2019 breakout or fxdr or even a vrod what's your opinion
I'm also 6'4", I have a 2006 1300 that I bought new at the end of 2007. I'm looking at either a m109r or star raider.... we'll see...
Unless the choke was pulled.. it's not EFI? I know my 2003 is.. though I also have an 1800. and yes I realize the date of the video.
Im 6'5 , 300lbs can you recommend this VTX as a first bike? Im a 40yr old athlete with common sense and self control. Physical size of the bike and low price attract me
I don't know much about bikes but I've been really wanting to get my first bike for YEARS now but just haven't. Someone offered me a trade for my 07 g6 I'm selling for an 06 VTX 1300 with 17k miles. Does anyone know if know if a fair trade?
I upgraded to a VTX 1800N1 after owning a VTX 1300R for 9 months, after upgrading from a Shadow Aero. The acceleration from the 1300 to the 1800 is WAY more noticeable than the 750 to the 1300. I was expecting the 1300 to rip compared to the Shadow, but the 1800 really makes you say, "Oh shit," when it's at full torque. I've even felt the front end start to come up a little when nailing it. I paid a little more than I wanted to spend, but it's so damn nice with super low miles. It has the chrome meathook ape hangers, Cobra pipes, a 1300 final drive, batwing fairing with a stereo and 4 polk speakers, airbag suspension, Harley no key start, 4 floorboards, custom grips, LED turnsignals and custom headlight. Basically everything I wanted on my last bikes but didn't want to mess with.
I have an Areo 750 currently and love the bike. But need a little more room and power, was thinking the VTX 1300. After reading your comment and seeing you started on the same bike, thinking of now skipping the 1300 and looking for the 1800.
@@chrisstewart1465 Definitely. i still agree a year later.
Thanks for the advice!!! I just bought one.
I think everyone should buy one of this kind.
Bro I inherited one of these 1300R 06 w 11kish miles descent condition how much should I sell this for?
710 Ibs is plenty heavy for this 1300 cc Roadbeast.
What equipment and set-up did you use to film this?
My beginner bike was a Fury vtx 1300. The only things I don’t like are that it doesn’t have hazard lights and doesn’t have dual disk brakes. I love the bike and after 20k miles can’t think of a reason not to buy one.
Do the signals not work on that bike?
Well, that's 7 minutes I'll never get back.
I just love how you try to cover your mouth with the helmet on when you cough lol
This going to be my 1st bike 6’1 320 should I do it I’m about to get it now
What's the difference between this bike and a Sabre 1300?
What is the exhaust on this one I never heard a better exhaust on VTX
ik this ones old but dese videos are really good nd have helped me decide wat i want thx you keep grinding man u to my subscription
Looks like something is wrong with the front end somewhere cuz the way it wobbles when ya take ya hands off the bars. Looks like he put his hands back on quick before it death wobbled
Is a vtx 1300 a good beginner bike
I had a VTX1800 and it was the most uncomfortable thing I'd ever ridden. It drank fuel and you'd be lucky to get 75 miles out of a tank of fuel. Most of the fuel tank is taken up by the fuel pump inside the tank. My wife would also slide into me at stops because of the slant/angle of the pillion. My 2 cents.
I have a 2006 Honda vtx 1300 that has been sitting for two years. I am in the process of restoring it. Gas tank is getting refurbished on the inside as we speak. I have already put a new wiring harness in it as of 8/27/2022. I have a new ignition switch with a key on order as of today. Next step is front tire, new front rim....hopefully not.....and change the oil in the rear hypoid drive system and the oil has been sitting but still looks good and a battery and hopefully she will be ready to go. The body work is in pretty good shape besides a few nicks and scratches here and there and she is in Sean’s favorite color. Blue. Specifically nova blue. Which the bike looks great in this color. Cant wait to hear her fire up for the first time after she has been sitting for two years
I ride a VTX1300 and my husband rides a VTX1800. I'm only 4'11" and the VTX1300 fits me just fine. The VTX1800 is taller, so
I can't safely touch the ground. The other problem is the weight...I can easily lift my bike off the kickstand and maneuver it, the VTX1800 is so much heavier I can't even budge it. Hubby is 5'11" and has no problem, however he said there was a learning
curve dealing with the weight - and he rode a HD Dyna Super Glide before he got the VTX1800. He has owned and ridden various bikes (street & dirt) over the last 40 years. I caution a beginner just because of the heavy weight involved. VTX1300 has plenty of power - some of our highway speed limits in this state are 80 mph, and have no problem at all passing someone nicely at or above the speed limit.

Fix those steering head bearings man! When you let go of the handle bars it was shaking like crazy
Upgrade to All Balls bearings. Add Progressive drop in replacement springs in the front. Best $60 you'll spend for comfort & control on drive & braking.
