LYRICS:
Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation
No breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm, bleeding
This is my last resort
Cut my life into pieces
I've reached my last resort
Suffocation, no breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm, bleeding
Do you even care if I die bleeding?
Would it be wrong?, would it be right?
If I took my life tonight
Chances are that I might
Mutilation outta sight
And I'm contemplating suicide
'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
I never realized I was spread too thin
Till it was too late
And I was empty within
Hungry!
Feeding on chaos
And living in sin
Downward spiral where do I begin?
It all started when I lost my mother
No love for myself
And no love for another.
Searching to find a love up on a higher level
Finding nothing but questions and devils
'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright
Nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I can't go on living this way
Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation
No breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm, bleeding
Would it be wrong?
Would it be right?
If I took my life tonight
Chances are that I might
Mutilation outta sight
And I'm contemplating suicide
'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright
Nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying
I can't go on living this way
Can't go on
Living this way
Nothing's alright

You guy's Rock for the Playlist!! Love you!! 🎸 🤘 🎶 🎵 💙
❤
Do you guys plan or releasing the audio of the full show at any point? Or is it just gonna be the videos?
it is actually spectacular and beautiful and a theme too old a classic. Greetings from Bolivia. 🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴
🤟😈🤟😈
THIS WILL ALWAYS BE A CLASSIC, A SONG THAT STILL TIL THIS DAY YOU CAN PLAY ANYWHERE AND EVERYONE WILL VIBE OUT TOO
yEs
"EVERYONE WILL VIBE " and that's all right yeahhh.... peace
Never understand why this is a "party song"? The lyrics about suicide and selfharm.
@Matt G Oh how the ignorant love to talk.
Amen brother!
you know you're old when this album turns 20 years...
Yup I was 18 just graduated high school
No, old is the pyramids.
Human beings are barley a blink of the eye in the life of the universe.
@@DMTInfinity that's not the point but ok
Yep i've got this with Linkin Park Hybrid Theory in October also......
I was 16, feel old as fuxk
The voice of this guy is still amazing.
Definitely
This song is so good because its genuine, and comes from heart, and its truthful. Emotions are always lit when you listen to this one!
Facts music for the soul
Indubitably.
Just saw the Vice feature on this song. Definitely is a song that has true meaning and that's why it's so powerful.
This whole album.
For early 2000s hits, this is right up there with 'In The End'
Hate it how papercut gets no love
@@YetiMan500 tbh though hybrid theory as an album is up there with "in the end" the song itself.
Chop suey to
True.
Scars
These guys... Jacoby killing it after all these years, all he's been through... during a PANDEMIC!!!
YES!!! BRAVO!!!
His voice sounds the same, this band is good at live performances
I think he sounds a little better actually. He's better at singing than he was back then
The screams seemed a little dry
@@allistergraham6704 yeah. He's getting old lol. His screams were on point back in the day.
@@allistergraham6704 i think they we're fine
@@juanbautistamaciel6767 tbh now that I listened again they sound awesome
when i was a kid my mom wouldn't let me get this cd so i secretly recorded this song off the radio with my giant ass tape player and would listen to it over and over 🤘🖤
waterpig lol that is pretty creative 🤣🔥🔥🔥
I'm 34. I remember trying to catch songs on the radio with my dual tape player when I was like 15 lol
Same here
Bryon Letterman that’s so awesome you did that too!! I’m 27 so I was trying to record papa roach sometime in elementary school :)
ToyReviewsWithGuff I’m so happy other people also did this! Haha
I think this song is truly beautiful, because it's about human pain, suffering, hardship, and the desire to commit suicide, paradoxically. The author of this song has miraculously overcome all of that and managed to produce this powerful song. We must be happy that he's still alive. I'm amazed at your personal power. You deserve all my respect.
His voice hasn’t changed one bit, legend!

Lembro no rock in Rio, curti muito eles.
A true classic, and a darn good song. Nothing that comes out from today's music industry compares to this masterpiece. This music aged so well it feels so fresh.
Agreed and Well said ✌️
First CD I ever bought with my money, I was 10 years old. Begged my father to go to Paredes De Coura in Portugal where you were headlining. Blew my mind. Still rocking this album every summer when in vacations. Infest means summer for me. I don’t like today’s music but always catching up with you during a festival because I wanna here some classics. Come on guys, when this covid shit is over, you gonna do an Infest Anniversary Tour and bring it to Europe.
this guy is living his dream . he is on the right path of his dream .his voice says everything that he is really for this shit.dang.
I once heard someone say of this song that it struck upon the perfect nu-metal formula with this song: sad boi rapping over an Iron Maiden lick. But you know what? That formula, no joke, kept a lot of kids ALIVE in the early-aughts. It made a lot of kids realize that whatever they were going through, they weren't alone. And I think that's where Infest shines, really. Other bands of the era could do the angst, but always kept it generalized. Infest directly tackles a number of heavy issues (political unrest, the effects a bad family situation has on a child, the invasiveness of mass media, suicide, alcoholism, the general existential dread of trying to follow the correct path when it's so damn easy to slip) without flinching or shying away from specifics
Please do broken home after this and that will make this set unforgetable
I know right!?!?!?!
Yesssss!!!!
They did the entire album
@@thedeadmanfan09 yup, exactly. All of the infest album. It was with the paid live, so now they're releasing slowly one by one :p
@@IIIPowerIII i was soo stoked watching it

I've seen Papa Roach live a few times. the boys always give everything! No matter where and how many people are there, jacoby brings so much power and love to the show.

20 years, amazing. Still so emotional.Hello from Ukraine
20 years after and these guys play that song with the same energy! Awesome and rare!
I’m an adult and seeing them grown up playing songs that helped shape me and hold memories means the world to me. Only thing corona has done to benefit society is bringing back favorite music artists for amazing performances and collars and albums.
Insane my kid loves this song as much as I did when I was in high school
That's awesome 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻

Papa roach senior center Lodi in 1998. 20 people jumping we knew it would blow up. Will haven played two shows and you guys two. Heard demo of this and instantly said it was a hit. A friend caught jacobys bottle cap and said they're gonna be huge one day and another guy said no. The guy who caught bottle cap fucking knew! He was so into the show and mosh pit that night. My first cassette tape album that I bought!! Love from 🇮🇳
Sensacional!
I think a lot of people are waiting for the studio version of the album. I grew up with your music, thank you very much, best performance in the last 20 years 🇷🇺 Russia with love u

Listening this song 20 years later
The fact he looks so much younger now than he was 20 years ago!!!
Nah
I saw them live for the first time in 2018, and when they played this song, it felt like my heart was trying to rip itself out of my chest, tears were streaming down my face. I was ugly crying as I screamed out every word of this incredible song. This song is magic, it immediately and vividly makes you relive the trauma, and at the same time is a cutting reminder that you survived, you made it, and you're stronger for it, and that you need to others where you can. You need to help create strong survivors, pass along the gift that was given to you.
Thank you, Papa Roach, for telling it as it is. For giving a voice to those who don't know how to express their pain, who struggle to force the words out of our aching chests and sore throats. For seeing us through dark nights, and never letting us forget where we came from, how far we've come, and that we all survivors. Thank you!
These guys are still rocking hard till this day.
GREAT SONG THEN, GREAT SONG NOW.

Papa Roach....man where to begin. 20 years ago during the early years of the Internet and Yahoo messenger I had a few friends in America I'd chat to regularly. One introduced me to a new group she was getting in to called Papa Roach and got me to listen to a couple of their songs. I was hooked, and managed to "get my hands on" a copy of Let 'Em Know. In the UK at the time they were unknown, however not long after this track dropped and my lord were they known after that. They were instrumental in changing my taste in music and were one of the main reasons for me first picking up a guitar (who the hell hasn't listened to Dead Cell and wanted to hammer that out?). It feels like they've always been there, ever evolving and ever professional. Each album sounding distinctive from the previous. I've seen them live many times, met them once. They've been with me through the hard times and the good and incredibly, they and this album still sound just as fresh today as they did 20 years ago. 20 years ago when I was the only 16 year old wandering around college with my nail varnish on, explaining to people who the Papa Roach chaps were that were on my hoodie.
Stay classy guys. And thank you for all the years of music and thank you for being such a damned good live act to watch.
Do "she loves me not" it'll be fire
Bang! Still awesome after 20 years boys🤙🏽
