John Dehner played a character in so many of these , he should have gotten credit along with regulars William Conrad, Howard McNear, Georgia Ellis, & Parley Baer. He was such a fine character actor, I'm surprised he wasn't more popular or better remembered.

'Sam Rickers' in this episode almost sounds like Red Skelton.
There is a great many in this community of old time radio that remember and honor him fondly for the great and versatile talent he was.
