C rating give the max current discharge of the battery. (mah / 1000) x C = max current discharge. so a 2000mah 25c give 50A, it should be ok for the feiyue as the esc is a 40A.
The battery must be able to deliver more than what ask the motor, and the esc current capacity must be above what ask the motor also, so 50A battery or more for a 40A esc is ok. If it was less it would be a problem.

Yes you can, this car come with lipo/li-ion battery, 7.4v 2cells.
