Hi, planning to visit Ladakh directly by flight during July end. Will there be any rains or how the weather condition will be during that time. Thanks for your help!
Hi, I will appreciate if you can please provide me the following informations: (1) Are there any permissible time window to drive from Manali to Jispa and Jispa to Leh or Leh to Manali on last week of June-2023. Sir I'm planning a bike trip to ladakh from delhi during june 3rd week, is there any permit required for my own vehicle and are the road conditions good for bike travel?
Since 2021 end of season, Indian do not need any permit anymore in Ladakh for regular sightseeing. You just need to pay the Ladakh Environment Fee on the website and carry the receipt of it. Here is the link where you need to pay it: www.lahdclehpermit.in/register-as-domestic Current Ladakh environment fees are broken down as following: 1. Environment Fee = Rs 400 one time 2. Wildlife Fee/Something = Rs 20 per day 3. Red Cross Fee = Rs 50 one time but Optional, you don’t need to pay if you don’t want to. DO NOT confuse environment fee receipt with permit. You just need to carry this fee receipt, hard copy or soft copy. This receipt will be checked at various checkposts. Hence, people are confusing it with permit but this is just verification that you have paid the fees.

Hello dheeraj... we are planning a bike trip to leh during mid sept .. we will be starting our ride frm jammu on 15th sept and will reach leh by 18 and will come by manali route.. is this the good time
Bhai, It is monsoon time in general up there in North and at some parts of Manali - Leh Highway (like before Baralacha La) and Srinagar - Leh Highway (like before Kargil) you might need to face monsoon hassles but once you get closer to Ladakh, then Ladakh being rain shadow region is least affected by monsoon rains. Landslides or slush or road blocks are pretty common in the month of monsoons but these landslides are cleared in a day or two unless there is a very major one. Again there are ALWAYS risks of traveling in mountains in the rainy season. No one can predict anything but it is a well known fact about the risks of traveling in mountains Having said that, rains does reach Ladakh nowadays but in general, it is overcast days or in form of light drizzles. I will suggest you go thru my video on 10 Tips for a Trip to Ladakh in Monsoons at the link:ruclips.net/video/TQjBw5pCGx8/видео.html

Hello dheeraj... we are planning a bike trip to leh during mid sept .. we will be starting our ride frm jammu on 15th sept and will reach leh by 18 and will come by manali route.. is this the good time
More or less, yes, it is good time. Just follow the advice in the video above.
Hey bro how was your trip experience that tym
Hello, is it OK to travel in late August, around 17-27 August, considering rains, and other weather conditions? @DevilOnWheelsBlog
No one can predict anything but it is a well known fact about the risks of traveling in mountains
Having said that, rains does reach Ladakh nowadays but in general, it is overcast days or in form of light drizzles. I will suggest you go thru my video on 10 Tips for a Trip to Ladakh in Monsoons at the link:ruclips.net/video/TQjBw5pCGx8/видео.html
