Update: My father liked the Pattie LaBelle Sweet Potato Pie very much. The double crust peach cobbler that we kept here was too much. I think the regular kind she makes is much better.

Good call on the dairy seal I am not sure...Same kind of find when someone discovered the canned corn and wasn't made here in the USA from the previous label at Walmart. ...I believe don't quote me until I can go back but something like that. We never know what we are eating anymore. Good to hear you Kendra...
I don't know about the rest of Canada but here in Montreal we do not have any of Patty Labelle's baked goods. I would be willing to try the sweet potato pie. That peach cobbler definitely looks delician, but as you mentioned in your comment above I too would probably prefer just the bottom crust and not on top. I would prefer more filling though..lol..

No. I don't like pumpkin pie at all. I don't know why but I've even tried it again as an adult and thought, "Nope". LOL. Of course my favorite pies are going to be the calorie laden ones. I love pecan pie the very best. tsk tsk tsk.... If I were going to like a sweet potato pie, I bet it would be this brand. My dad raved over it! Hey, Garden update lately?
I want to add here. I really, really like baked fresh sweet potatoes like the red or orange flesh kind. I add salt and pepper just like with a white potato. Savory sweet potatoes on a plate are under-rated! Yum!

My dad loved the sweet potato pie and the egg rolls went fast. I don't even know what happened to the taco rolls I made. The bag is gone. LOL
