Yeah anytime there's an update, it normally affects script extender. And that is the base for most of the mods. This update also actually changed some things in the compiler, so they will have to rewrite their code a little bit.
i wish they gave it the skyrim mod system overhaul, too. i mean, if it's going to break mods anyway, might as well make some other improvements. and while not everyone likes the new system, it's actually REALLY good in some ways, like specifically, searching for mods. looking for X will check X being the mod name itself or the mod creator, before listing the mods that just reference it. doesn't sound too impressive, but i was trying to redownload the armor and weapon keyword overhaul thing, (cant' recall the actual name atm), and it'd list EVERY FUCKING MOD THAT SO MUCH AS REFERENCES IT, and of course has a limit, so you might not even get to the actual mod. compared to say, how skyrim's current mod search function, looking up 'ordinator' will display mods that actually have ordinator in the mod name FIRST, so you get ordinator, then ordinator patches before all the stuff that merely references ordinator.
29:18 lol literally took 30 minutes to start the game. Only Kyle Hill could keep me watching for that long through technical difficulties 😂 Scratch that maybe not 😂
lol, was actually playing fo3 earlier this week or so, and i love the energy weapons build there, and sort of forgot the tesla cannon got added here. was sort of half paying attention, playing the outer worlds, and went 'fucking tesla cannon, hell yeah'. edit: pyromania: go kill 'pyro'. why, what for. well, one of my fo4 'energy' builds is using the flamer with the tesla power armor. gonna kill pyro so my 'pyro joe' can be the definitive pyro of the commonwealth.

And this is why my Steam is set so that Fallout 4 won’t update until I launch it directly through Steam - and my Fallout 4 folder is read-only.
