- I cannot tell you how much I loved this scene. It was so nice to see Brennan opening up to Booth and Booth being there to comfort her.
So, what do you guys think? Did they sleep together? Or did it remain PG? The verdict's still out for me... But I do feel, based on her conversation with Angela, that we may have missed something, be it a kiss or something more...
I think this scene gave us something more than a kiss...Bones let Booth see her at her most vulnerable-not impervious (using her word) but revealing her full sensitivity and strong connections to those around her.
Exactly, that alone makes it perfect. There's no need of a kiss or sex.

Well, she did say, "Can I just...?". She knew she could cry in his arms, as she had done so before. I think she was just checking since they were sitting on his bed, so the context was more intimate and she wanted to be sure. But, yes, it's sooooo sweet that he was so welcoming and seamlessly pulled her into a secure embrace. 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤

i don't think it was planned but since she got pregnant in real life they we're like 'ok then' but they didn't know how to make the transition.

It had been long established how deeply Booth loved Bones. She loved him too but not emotional ready. This was the time she caught up & finally was able to take that final step.
"He kept saying, 'Don't make me go'."
"What?"
"Vincent. He was looking at me, and he was saying, 'Don't make me leave'. Why would he think I'm the one making him leave? What kind of person am I?"
.. "I heard him, and you heard him too. 'Don't make me leave'. That's what he said"
"He wasn't talking to you."
"I was the only one there, and you. He wasn't...he wasn't talking to you."
He was talking to God. He didn't want to die."
"No, Vincent was like me, Booth. He was an atheist."
"Okay. He was talking to the universe, then. He didn't want to go. He wasn't ready, Bones. He wanted to stay"

"I got into bed with Booth last night"
"Why aren't you saying anything?"
"Because I don't want to yell 'Hallelujah' so close to losing Vincent"
"I think I did it because of Vincent"
"Wait, what? What exactly happened when you crawled into bed with Booth?"

I was like: Okay...then what happened?

Booth is a true gentleman to Bones when she needed him the most that scene touches the heart in a certain way

@@davidchism6081 yes…you are right. Angela had the baby & afterwards Bones informs Booth that she’s pregnant & he’s the father. As I recall she was actually Pregnant & they put that into the storyline….

Honestly while I understand but as a viewer it sucked. All the will they/won't for 6 Seasons for absolutely nothing. Next season they're like an old married couple like hello?

I love the program but after so many years of tension I was expecting at least to see a kiss or something not that suddenly from one season to another she was pregnant and they were in a relationship like that out of nowhere
But is six plus seasons of slow-burn REALLY 'sudden'?
I don't get how you think its from nowhere with the various kisses, faking sex, intimate moments and shared trauma they have. This scene hugely implies a complete tearing down of walls and complete vulnerability. Comfort sex is a thing. The Scene with Angela then reveals they did sleep together.
I think one of the most beautiful things in Bones and Booth's relationship is that he believes in God and she is a professed atheist, and yet they love each other. I've been in Bones place of wondering why God lets there be pain, suffering and death, and angry at the unfairness of it all.
Can we also talk about how Brennan supports Booth’s religious practices? Willing to let him raise their daughter Catholic, willing to marry in a church for him, expressing concern when he doesn’t go to Mass for a while…

Brennan‘s intern would‘ve been glad that she & Booth got together. He took the bullet for Booth without even trying while helping to catch a sniper that Booth knows turned bad.

I like the way they included Emily's real life pregnancy into the script. I mean, we all knew right from the beginning that these 2 love each other. It was hardly any surprise they got together. I don't really need an explicit scene to understand what happened after the hug. Vincent's death was a chatarctic moment for both of them and brought them where they belonged : into each other's arms.
I don't know about you guys...but I just adore this scene!:)
That "really" face she pulled at 1:23 or 1:24 was golden....and the part about her starting off with "If there was a god then he would have let Vincent stay here with us." I was like that statement sounds oddly familiar and then it came to me that she had said the exact same statement at Booth's fake funeral....but the way she said it at the time was in an angry bitter tone. This one was filled with more sorrow and regret.

I’m honestly using this scene as a basis of what I want to happen in something I’m writing. It’s just a tender moment of vulnerability, where the two are simply there for each other, but it does lead to the accidental (but not unwelcome) conception of their child. So thanks for posting exactly the scene I needed! 😊 Of course, I don’t plan on waiting until after the fact to tell the readers they slept together. It’s just the emotion of the scene that I’m hoping to push across. The comfort they seek and find in each other. Does that make sense?

on of many that I love to watch and rewatch. This scene totally changed the tenor of the show. It was a turning point.
Despite the fact that we are all gushing over Booth and Brennan, what Booth said was correct. 'It's not how it works'. I love David's statement when he said he was brought up Catholic and as he was playing Booth he remembered his Catholic faith and was like I dont know if I believe in that anymore' I myself was raised both Protestant and Catholic. I've had things done to me in my past and to be quite frank I have my own beliefs in God. Such a beautiful scene between them both 😍

To be fair, the mood was NOT right for it. Vincent's death was not the time for a horizontal tango scene. And the episodes tend to be weeks if not months appart, so maybe it DIDNT happen that very night.
Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan make a lovely couple. Anyone reading this comment may not know this, but I wasn't too fond of Bones until I heard murmurs of their greatest episodes. It was then, I had hopes and dreams that Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan would fall in love, get married, and have children of their own. The same thing happened with Castle as well.
Bones yes for sure. Brennan and Booth are the couple that all other couple want to be like. Castle especially. I've said this before, Bones is so much higher up than Castle that "Caskett" Can't even see Brennan and Booth. Bones is the reason Castle is even around.

@@emilyandrews9857 There were many things that happened in Castle that had happened in Bones before. Castle was a lame rip off of Bones. I can't think of anything Castle did that Bones did not. What we all have to remember is, Castle came and went in Bones' glory run.

First, Castle came and went in Bones' glory run. 8 seasons of Castle in the time of Bones 12. I was a Bones fan before and after Castle.
The relationship of the real people playing Castle and Beckett, Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion was spotty at best. I read several articles and sources that the two actors disliked each other so much and couldn't get along enough they were forced into counseling to do their show. It was obvious the entire series. They never had that spark like Brennan and Booth do. In making the shows, the creators went through over 100 actresses to land Beckett's part. Whereas David and Emily (Brennan and Booth) Met one time, one try, and that was their show.
Because Castle came after Bones, so many things happened in Castle because it happened in Bones. Castle tried so hard to be like Bones. And yes, the are very similar. The storylines, plots, characters, relationships, objects and so on.
Don't get me wrong, Castle was more popular than Bones for a while, people liked it better for seasons. I myself enjoyed it and watched it all.
However, may we all remember you can not spell BONES without number one.
Bones is the show that many other shows then, now, and in the future compare themselves to.

I stopped watching the series around this time, and based on bits and pieces I've picked up that I can't say in case someone is still working through the series and I spoil things, I'm glad I did. Vincent's death wrecked my feels as is.

Well, I don't know Jessica Biel's real voice because I've only seen 7th heaven in Hungarian (and I don't know Kristen Stewart's original voice either) - but you might be right, maybe a little bit (only a little bit!) Dr. Brennan/Emily Deschanel reminds me (in her appearence and behaviour) of Mary Camden/Jessica Biel. ☺

Booth & Brennan were lucky that Brodsky thought he killed Booth when Vincent Nigel-Murray had answered the cellphone by the 5th ring and tried to sound like Booth while helping Booth try to capture Jacob Brodsky, just before Vincent took the bullet meant for Booth and Brodsky didn't make another surprise visit to Booth's apartment to be sure that he killed Booth for getting in his way of killing bad people and for making Brodsky's girlfriend so scared that she killed herself rather than be taken in for being an accessory to more than 1 count of murder, though she only wanted 1 individual dead, which was the woman who kidnapped and buried her victims alive and kidnapped Booth for saving Brennan & Hodgins when they were kidnapped by Heather Taffet.

Well they make a baby right after cuddling, so I am pretty sure some kissing was involved.
