People can claim that he was a jerk for acting like that. Hannah wanted a casual relationship and she wasn't ready for commitment that Booth was after. The idea that she suggested that they could just go back seemed out of place. Brennan warned her not to hurt Booth and told her what he wanted from the relationship. She rejected him because she was scared and he could have just listened to her. That was a powerful scene. After Doctor in the Photo, she was ready for the relationship with him. There were bumps in the road but Booth and Brennan got together. I'm sure that Brennan's rejection hurt him more than this one. He did it because he was desperate to be with someone. Well that drunk conversation with Sweets really put his sense of reality into question. I think that Brennan wanted to tell him that she wants what he offers but it wasn't a right time for them to get together.
Gillian Glasses me too nice to know somebody else felt the same he looked so silly asking a woman that called herself a nomad to marry him when he knew she would be moving on shortly
He threw the ring away because Hannah not only selfishly rejected his marriage proposal but also because the owner of the jewelry store he bought the ring from said there's no refunds or exchanges.
I was sooooooo mad at Booth's new "love" story line this season. Yes, he told Bones he had to move on, but geezewhize... What? 7 months, and he was head over heels in love with Hannah. Proposing marriage with a big ol' diamond. And my goodness, Bones confession... Oh man the feels; after that I didn't know from one episode to the next if I would still watch the show. It broke my heart, and the mojo was gone. I still don't know what I felt as the season finished out with her preggers, but... This show was awesome 😎 🎊. 🤭😘💋
Never like her from the beginning bones and booth were in love when he went to Iraq he opened the door of love by kissing Brennan she wasn’t ready and needed time he came back in love with a new woman who seems a little fake tbh and Brennan was so broken when he came back and he was like showing all his happiness and letting Brennan in the corner and then when Hannah rejected him Brennan came to stay with him to support him and he was so rude to her telling her I understand he was upset and sad but it wasn’t Brennan’s fault anyway I’m a Brennan and booth shippers forever they were meant to be the chemistry and sexual tension between these two was obvious I love them together
she was never fake, but was good plot character to make bones realise she loved booth too and wanted to be with him. She rejected booth and the realtionship between booth and bones would nver work untill bones felt bit of what booth did , realising that oh i really wanna be with him. booth wasnt rude he was honest and was heart broken. Bones wasnt ready when she rejected him but she still rejected him. So He moved on like he had to. Was not healthy for him to keep being wrapped up with someone who didnt want same thng.
6:31 I think part of Temperance does feel bad for what has happened to Booth. She feels responsible and guilty by the way she rejected him in the first place. She probably feels if she had accepted him in the first place, this entire thing would not have happened.
I am glad she said no, cause he was about to make the biggest mistake of his life, Hannah was a good time girl and not the marrying kind, but he always wanted anted to be married.
He's a great guy and he's got a better person coming along. I liked Hannah but I didn't like how she suggested they "go back" to before and how she low-key blames Booth for proposing by saying "I told you I'm not the marrying type, I guess you just didn't hear me". Like woman, Bones told you want Booth wanted smh.
It seems that Booth loves social conventions more than he loves Hannah. I don't get people like Booth. In one moment he claims eternal love for Hannah, in next moment he rejects her, just because she doesn't want marriage? Booth claims he loves Hannah, but he doesn't love Hannah unconditionally. Booth loves Hannah only if she will obey his and society's rules.
Hannah was obviously a plot device, designed to open Brennan's eyes to her true feelings for Booth. Hannah lacked any real dimension, she was far too perfect to be relatable in any way, and it seems like Booth only proposed in the first place because Sweets says that he doesn't want to end up like him, Not only that, but didn't Booth admit in the episode before this that even though you can love a lot of people, there's only one person you love the most? That person isn't Hannah.
That was an expensive engagement ring that Booth threw into the Potomac because it couldn't be returned or exchanged when Booth bought it to give to Hannah and ask her to marry him. Hannah obviously didn't care 1one bit if Booth's paternal grandfather got angry and had either a heart attack or a stroke after hearing his oldest grandson got his heart broken by another blonde-haired woman because she didn't want to be his wife. One was bad enough for Booth but 2 made it worse. Hank Booth would've told him it's not his fault.
I think what hit me the most that she wasn't for him was how she greeted him. "Hey Soldier" she wanted the Soldier, not the FBI Agent. The Agent seemed too settled for her.
I feel he purposely destroyed the relationship. He wanted to fight for so long about his feelings for bones that he tried to make his relationship with hannah work. He really got in his feelings. Booth stand up guy yet he tried to fashion a Temprence into a Hannah..ain't gone happen.
Telicia Davis I actually agree with because Booth was always telling Sweets or Bones how much he loved Hannah. It was almost convincing himself he was in love with her.
I love and hate this scene. I love hate how hurt Booth is, but I think it’s when Bones finally figure out that he is more than just her partner. I think we saw it a little bit with her helping Hannah with her broken leg and other like scenes, but she really got it here I think. Plus Bones was always good with Parker even if she was awkward in the beginning...Hannah just wasn’t at all.
I’ve always said, he knew she didn’t want to get married, I think he proposed knowing she would say no knowing that they would break up. Because deep down she wasn’t the one and he knew it! Was he sad yes heartbroken yes but in the end relieved
I think he would just say "ok You dont have to marry me we can just be in relationship" but this was kind of his way to get out of relationship with hannah bcs he wanted to be with brennan
If Booth's brother came face to face with Hannah for breaking Seeley's heart when she refused his marriage proposal, would she dare slap him in the face for him speaking his mind and standing up to her whether she would've been yelled at or not?
@@SCK-1231 It is his fault. He is the one that loves Hannah only under condition that she marries him. Basically, whenever someone ends relationship because partner doesn't want marriage, it means that he/she loves social conventions (marriage) more than he/she loves his/her partner.
Hanna was a nice girl. The only thing booth and her had, was Sex. After a while it gets old. She, like Sully, knew how strong the bond is between Booth and Bones. Therefore she did not wait any longer.
I did not understand if Hannah knew she is never going to get married, then why she moved in whith Booth. She knew in future he would want to get married. Bones also told her before moving in that do it only if you are sure about it. I felt really bad for Booth here.
If Hannah had heard that Brennan had Booth's child and married him more than a year later, she would've believed that Booth was ying to her about him and Brennan not being more than just friends and if she yelled at Booth at the F.B.I. building where he works after hearing that Booth & Brenna are married, Booth would tell security to remove her from the building and tell her to leave him, his wife, his child and his friends at the Jeffersonian alone. Good that Booth didn't waste any tears on Hannah for breaking his heart.
When Brennan told Booth that Hannah called her and told her that Booth broke up with her because she doesn't want to marry him at all, Brennan didn't say if Hannah was crying and yelling on the phone for being dumped after she selfishly refused what Booth offered. The lady prosecutor, who has known Booth for a long time, would've wanted to tell Hannah that she should be ashamed of herself for breaking Booth's heart if Hannah showed up again at the diner, the Jeffersonian or the Federal Building where Booth works.
You'd be forgiven for thinking that given how he was discovered, and that he's really only ever done TV, that David Boreanaz was more of a face than a talent..... but Jesus, he's actually a really good actor.
I always had this theory that Booth proposes knowing Hannah will say no cause she’s quite vocal that she lives out of suitcase and even temporarily staying in DC is big for her. It was self sabotaging cause he didn’t feel right ending it with Hannah for Bones cause then it means Hannah didn’t mean anything. Even the anger it makes more sense that instead of being mad at Hannah he’s angry cause he knew she’d say no and he blew up his relationship on purpose but imo doesn’t seem ready to deal with the fact that he had always loved Bones. It makes way more sense especially in light of the episode before when he tells Bones that her person who loves her the most isn’t going anywhere
I don't blame anyone, and even though I am 100% for B&B, I don't hate this scene. I even like this scene because Brennan understands and cares for Booth so much. She just wants to accompany when Booth is sad, happy, or whatever. like, the Bones we describe as a rational scientist that only relies on her brain can be so thoughtful and such a good partner. And she looks amazing. Isn't it enough? That is enough for me.
Women don't see what Booth is offering love, protection, caring and much more beyond this on a flipside they don't like Booth being fixated in mind to settle down I think this what changed between Booth and Brennan down in the series Booth stopped being set on getting married with Bones and started enjoying the love he was getting from her company whatever big or little he could get. Brennan started feeling love from Booth and need for being with a different person other than self which is what she doesn't really followed or believed in this form of social engagement before.
In the episode where Hannah first appears, Sweets hints to Booth that because he hooked up with Hannah in a high adrenaline war zone, there could be more at play (psychologically), but Booth didn't want to have that talk and just blew Sweets off.
Well he did tell her he had to move on. Also he is a relationship guy do he can love someone else but not as much as he loves Bones. He was probably confusing his need for a relationship with love
When I see this season, I imagine how it would be if the relationship between Booth and Brennan was deeper, or at least if it went deeper than investigations and celebrating. This scene would be tragic : not only the choice between leave and stay but also the possibility to end an intense relation without talking about love or partnership. I know that Booth is struggling with his anger but the only thing I can see is the faults in the writing. I love the series but many times, the writing is not well managed at all.
Finally someone said it,I mean he did said he needs to move on but after few months he was in love ,like he didn't have massive crush on Bones and he is proposing.....and after his heart was broken for 3rd time he was like (about Bones when Sweets asked him)"that is over, that is past,I don't go there anymore " then he slept with her like Hannah didn't existed, like he didn't propose to Hannah literally few day ago, so season 6 was so off,I get that Emily was pregnant and they had to rush some things between them but they handled them so wrong ,I mean Vincent was killed they slept together once and 2 weeks later she was 100%, positive she was pregnant, possible but not likely
Who knows how Hannah's parents would've felt if they heard that she blatantly rejected Booth's marriage proposal months after meeting his son Parker, assuming that she had any relatives when she met Booth? Hannah should've known how hurt Booth was when Rebecca, the mother of their only son, refused to marry him. The thing that Rebecca & Hannah have in common is that they're both blonde and selfishly each declined to be Booth's wife.
I think David's acting during the scene in the diner is some of the best acting he did for the entire show. Trying to keep his emotions under control while also showing raw pain and insecurity.
Hannah characterization is weird. She had already taken such huge steps in her relationship with Booth of her choosing. She left her exciting middle east job, and moved across the entire world, moved in with him, met and befriended his son. Getting married, in this instance would have not really changed anything about her life. It just seems like strange device for Hannah to reject Booth. IMO it just wasn't very good writing. Obviously the Hannah break up was going to happen, but this direction seemed wrong, it should have went down the path of Booth realizing Hannah wasn't the one. Just like Jim and Karen in the Office, they had scenes where they showing that their relationship wasn't perfect. But with Booth and Hannah everything was pretty perfect in till this scene, so even though we knew the break up was coming, this scene just felt forced. But the acting was good even if the writing was bad.
i.BorcaBones is always along with Booth in solving the crimes, and she does not miss Hannah too, looking to get along with her, and even succeeds Booth is determined to ask her for marriage. Buy a superb diamond ring and meet Hannah in the park next to the water. Hannah is happy to meet, and after a few hugs and kisses, Booth pulls out the box with her engagement ring and asks Hannah to marry him. Hannah tells her that she can not marry, but they can tremble so together. Seeing Booth that he was very upset, he asked if he had to take his clothes from him now. Booth asks him how long he needs. Hannah leaves and Booth throws the box in the water. He goes to the bar where I take breakfast in the morning and drinks. After a few minutes Bones appears, telling her that Hannah gave her a phone. Very nervous Booth wondered, "What are the women with me, the first I fell in love with, I did a baby with her, did not want to get married," Bones says, "It was me," Booth replies. and now that. Bones asks: Now what will happen? to which Booth tells him to sit with him to drink and talk or go home, and tomorrow he will send someone else from the FBI to work with. Bones agrees to stay with him and drink together. For Bones, I think it's the long-awaited day to regain Booth ...
Would Hannah come face to face with Booth's son if he got angry at her for declining his father's marriage proposal and if he told her that some of the kids at school were making fun of his father because first Parker's mother refused to marry him after she had Parker and then Hannah, another blonde like Rebecca, had refused to marry him also? Booth had been through so much since his father was an abusive alcoholic and that his mother walked out on him and his kid brother Jared years earlier, though sometime later Booth's father walked out on him too.
If Booth's mother met Hannah by chance and found out before meeting her that Hannah broke Seeley's heart she would've slapped Hannah in the face and say to her that she's no better than Rebecca, the mother of Booth's son who refused to marry him even after he served his country while in the United States Army. Booth's paternal grandfather would've wanted to yell at her for doing what Rebecca did even after she had Parker.

If Hodgins,Angela,Dr, Camille Soroyan and Dr. Lance Sweets came face to face with Hannah for breaking Booth's heart when she rejected his marriage proposal, surely they would've gotten angry at her for that. Brennan probably wouldn't. Hannah didn't even think of what Booth's son,Parker, would feel if he had seen his father crying because he asked Hannah,a blonde like Parker's mother,Rebecca, refused to marry Booth.
azure rainbow again, this is Booths fault Hannah didn’t want to meet Parker Booth lied saying he couldn’t wait to meet her he again tried to force things to go his way
@@caroldouglas5653 Hannah didn't say that she hates Booth's son,Parker. Honestly, it kinda was his fault. She had told him multiple times she didn't want to get married and he didn't listen. It is one of his flaws on the show to think people (mostly women) around him will eventually change their mind after they said no to him. As much as I didn't like Hannah, she definitely deserves someone who respects her wishes rather than someone who keeps insisting until she would eventually change her mind. She was honest and he disregarded her wishes. Of course she should have bailed out when she realised that he would eventually propose no matter what she said, but ultimately it's not her fault that he was so focused of he wanted and what he considers to be the necessary steps in a relationship that he wasn't attentive to what she was very clearly expressing. Of course it's sad for him and he deserves better, but this time, he brought this on himself. Good for Hannah to stay true to herself.

This is 2020 and I am still here
I felt so sorry for Booth but... I felt really really happy when Bones came. And I'm glad that Hannah didn't agree bc there wouldn't be B&B < 3
Klaudia Grobl totally
Klaudia Grobl I agree but she should have contacted him but she never did and Brennen did tell her what Booth wanted and she lied saying she did to
Klaudia Grobl I agree
Klaudia Grobl I agree
Bones and Booth, one of the greatest romantic and professional teams of all time.
I laughed at the scene but then he threw the ring my god i was screaming "Boy what are you doinnnnng"
Gillian Glasses me too nice to know somebody else felt the same he looked so silly asking a woman that called herself a nomad to marry him when he knew she would be moving on shortly
To be honest if I was there, I’d jump in the water and take the ring for myself. Pawn shop here I come!
I really think that Hannah knew where Booth's heart was and she was only enjoying their time together but He used to rush everything.
I think that Hannah wasn't necessary because I really think that Bones was ready from 6x01 but Booth like ass was rubbing Hannah in Brennan 's face.
It wasn’t meant to work out with Hannah, because he was meant to be with Bones. Bones is his one true love.
This fucking scene is so powerful. Just amazing acting all around
The fact that she says "I guess you weren't listing" gets on my nerbes
That was an expensive engagement ring that Booth threw into the Potomac because it couldn't be returned or exchanged when Booth bought it to give to Hannah and ask her to marry him. Hannah obviously didn't care 1one bit if Booth's paternal grandfather got angry and had either a heart attack or a stroke after hearing his oldest grandson got his heart broken by another blonde-haired woman because she didn't want to be his wife. One was bad enough for Booth but 2 made it worse. Hank Booth would've told him it's not his fault.
She rejected him because of Ragnar Lothbrok
Hahaha nice one
I don’t get it
7:55 u can hear my heart break
Hannah knew Booth’s heart belonged to Bones
Did anybody else notice that this was the first time Booth ever told Hannah he loved her he told everybody except her
I think what hit me the most that she wasn't for him was how she greeted him. "Hey Soldier" she wanted the Soldier, not the FBI Agent. The Agent seemed too settled for her.
He threw the popcorn ring away 😭😭
I feel he purposely destroyed the relationship. He wanted to fight for so long about his feelings for bones that he tried to make his relationship with hannah work. He really got in his feelings. Booth stand up guy yet he tried to fashion a Temprence into a Hannah..ain't gone happen.
Telicia Davis I actually agree with because Booth was always telling Sweets or Bones how much he loved Hannah. It was almost convincing himself he was in love with her.
If we drained all the rivers and lakes took a metal detector how many crushed dreams would we find?
It's lagertha from Vikings
I think more than anything he wanted to settle down and have someone to come home to. But he kept choosing the wrong woman
And 10 episodes later...
I’ve always said, he knew she didn’t want to get married, I think he proposed knowing she would say no knowing that they would break up. Because deep down she wasn’t the one and he knew it! Was he sad yes heartbroken yes but in the end relieved
Why not just break up with Hannah then?
I feel so sad for Booth. He is such a good guy but he is always rejected by the wrong girl the right girl.... damn just DAMN
I think he would just say "ok You dont have to marry me we can just be in relationship" but this was kind of his way to get out of relationship with hannah bcs he wanted to be with brennan
Good people are hard to come by. So best be going for them when they come. 😢
If Booth's brother came face to face with Hannah for breaking Seeley's heart when she refused his marriage proposal, would she dare slap him in the face for him speaking his mind and standing up to her whether she would've been yelled at or not?
Saluditos desde México..!!
Esto se que le duele a booth pero ..me alegra..porke su lugar es con temperans...con huesos...ella es su verdadero amor...😻
It really bothered me when she said “let’s just go back” like bitch no, you can’t just hurt someone like that and press rewind
“I’ve said it plenty of times before, I guess you just weren’t listening” Great, just how to knock a guy when he’s already down 😂
Yes.. she made it sound like all this was his fault.
I loved Hannah, she was a beautiful and kind person. But I'm so glad that she rejected Booth, BonesxBooth just belong together forever
SAMMEEE
It's the music that helps sell the empathy for the scene. It's actually my favorite episode.
At least next time around he didn’t ask. Bones proposed to him
I always had this theory that Booth proposes knowing Hannah will say no cause she’s quite vocal that she lives out of suitcase and even temporarily staying in DC is big for her.
Women don't see what Booth is offering love, protection, caring and much more beyond this on a flipside they don't like Booth being fixated in mind to settle down
I think this what changed between Booth and Brennan down in the series
Booth stopped being set on getting married with Bones and started enjoying the love he was getting from her company whatever big or little he could get.
This is when men cried.
I was disappointed with the season, if he loved her so much he would not have fallen in love again in half a year
Well he did tell her he had to move on. Also he is a relationship guy do he can love someone else but not as much as he loves Bones. He was probably confusing his need for a relationship with love
@@aesinam he give her 5 sec befor told her he moving on and didnt fight for her
Avigail I was disappointed with episode 22 and 23 it moved to fast to season 7,I always felt I missed something
I was glad to see her leave!
All Booth wanted was to be loved unconditionally, have a family
Who knows how Hannah's parents would've felt if they heard that she blatantly rejected Booth's marriage proposal months after meeting his son Parker, assuming that she had any relatives when she met Booth? Hannah should've known how hurt Booth was when Rebecca, the mother of their only son, refused to marry him. The thing that Rebecca & Hannah have in common is that they're both blonde and selfishly each declined to be Booth's wife.
Why is declining to be someone's wife selfish?
I think David's acting during the scene in the diner is some of the best acting he did for the entire show. Trying to keep his emotions under control while also showing raw pain and insecurity.
he should've got an oscar
big mistake on Hanna's part, but a new chapter begins with Temperance.
Booth had his heart broken--l cried BUT it stretched his relationship with Brennan ❤
I did want Booth to be with Brennan but i felt like he was trying to hard to leave her behind him by proposing to this chick
Sweets tried to tell him. But as usual he didn't listen.
me encanta ver bones pero no estan los capitulos en orden y no estan completos quisiera que estuvieran de una ora y en orden 🤔😟
I am sorry but I love this scene so much. Booth rejected Brennan so he deserved to have his ass kicked too
Omg! Get your money back! Dont throw the ring away!😂🤦♀️
Broke his heart 3 times...
Iftekhar Ahmed Sarkar his fault for expecting too much from every woman he had sex with except Cam he didn’t love her
With the magic in Hollywood they could have done something they could have made it before she was showing and made it a flashback
i.BorcaBones is always along with Booth in solving the crimes, and she does not miss Hannah too, looking to get along with her, and even succeeds Booth is determined to ask her for marriage.
7:56 there was no way she was gonna leave.
Did not like her as Hannah. When I started watching Vikings, I was annoyed at first but she won me over there.
great scene..
bbbmmmwwwxxx555 Ya
I feel so sorry for seeley
I'm glad she said no! Didn't like her either!
Is it just me or does this girl look like van pelt from the mentalist?
quel est le nom de cette chanson et du chanteur ou chanteuse : merci
What the song's name is?
ggamre idk who did the cover but the song is called Buckets of Rain by Bob Dylan
ÑÒ WE CAN'T GO BACK.!! Hannah was driven by her looks - "Vanity, thy name is woman " OR SHOULD I SAY --HANNAH
Never liked her Ngl she was too casual with Brennan and she took Brennans glasses at the hospital 😆
Booth was as done as Bone was in season 1.
Dome ridiculously good acting in this episode.
Cŕeo que boót péca ďe credulo es bonita y múy buena peŕíodista la niña no és pará el agente ella es libre muy buena serie y mé énçántá huésós el élenco super la vi durante la pandemia la pereja inolviďable
How does the bartender know what exactly he wants? I know it's their "watering hole" and they are regulars, but that's such an odd thing.
What is this song's name pls tell meeeeeee
"Buckets of Rain"...it's from a 1975 Bob Dylan album called "Blood on the Tracks". I think it is one of his very best! In this episode, it was covered by Beth Orton and M. Ward ruclips.net/video/DlJ2hcHNO6g/видео.html
Am I the only one who knows she was obsessed with lila?
But who knows if Parker would've gotten so mean to her for breaking his father's heart by refusing his father's marriage proposal even if he told her that his father had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor long before they met and was in a coma that lasted 4 days and that Parker wasn't allowed to visit his dad in the hospital?
You'd be amazed at how many women would have left
wait. isn't temperance an alcoholic
No, Booth`s dad was.
Ugh I need an edit of them and champagne problems by Taylor swift
