Hay everyone there is a new subwoofer coming out from America Bass call the King!! It handles 6,500 rms watts on a single subwoofer!! It has a 4.5 flat wound aluminum voice coil. Too bad it's going to be very expensive.

Sick set up, I highly recommend using a smaller aeroport, they are really efficient, I had one 10in aeroport with 3 Crossfire xt3 18's doing a 161db, only need about 40-50% the port area with an aeroport 🤙
As someone who’s built easily over a 150 boxes…. I can say from a builders point of view, it’s a lot simpler. And aeroports can also be built to be adjustable on the fly…. You can’t do that with slot. Plus I feel Aero sounds better and not so “Chuffy” like slots. Just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️

There's a new subwoofer coming out that handles 6,500 rms watts called the American Bass King series!!
I liked his amp rack, & the subs, & how he sealed it off, i was hoping I could see the outside of the trunk to see if there was any flex there to see if it was sealed off well.. But overall nice two 12's that's what I'm running as well.

Ive always owned slot ports but love the looks of aeroports and would try one
Ive personally never rand aero port. However, I hear they're way more efficient so that will be my next build
i like still use PVC port lol im on a budget and there easy to find and alot easier to ajust compared to slot or vent i guess im just still old school haven't never tried a port that big tho

Had a shop do me wrong recently. Spenk 2k getting a single sub, enclosure, amp, head unit.
She's lacking power.
They sold me a $350 kenwood dmx4707s and a $140 gravity g12bdi loaded enclosure... we have an 08 tahoe.
No way it was 1500 bucks to run 8ga wire.
So now I'm gunna save up an do it right myself.

I got two mmat monster 12s 1 ohm, mmat2000 amp, ported box, bass knob hook up and cables all for $2,667 and its loud af on stock. I can't get a alternator upgrade on my car but if i had a capacitor hooked up i could throw some extra juice to it without voltage drops.
I have a slot port firing up . The areo ports I feel get louder .might have to switch it up lol

I love slots aero ports are cool but I love slots.
Subs are getting down to be on a single 3.5k
Wiper blades not even jumping off the front glass. Was this really hitting like two 3000w 12s?
Only a 3.5k between the pair, it did great for the power. Flex isn’t always a good thing.

Figured his windshield would be flexing real bad. Maybe port too big?
Depending on the box size and his goal is if the port is too big I love lows so I’ll do like 14sq.in per cube for the lows and having bandwidth personally that’s what works for me.
its not always about flex. Flexing takes away DBs
@AceThaDon yep but you can't keep everything from flexing in a vehicle like that.
He also needs 2 of those amps minimum one for each sub or go with something like an MD 12k

Depends on the power ran and the subs, too many variables.

Aero is the most efficient. All other ports are a waste of db's.
Me personally I lost dbs with aero ports like 0.1db but a loss is a loss, probably the cabin honestly cause me neon was always louder with aero’s who knows their is a science to it guess.
