I worked here definitely 100% haunted. All the workers have stories. I would always get in trouble because when guest asked if it was haunted and would tell them yes.

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago. From what I remember this beautiful hotel is only open summer-fall. At that time, I didn’t think of the possibility of spirits walking among us. But I will say that with some of the old furniture and especially the pianos and such, there was a feeling even then of heaviness. Like so many handprints through history touching each of those things and leaving their story behind. I don’t think I would be afraid here. It’s simply an old building that has been in the same family for a very long time. If some of them decided to stick around, well that seems pretty normal to me.

Thank you for commenting on your experience there. I have tried to find any more information on it being haunted but I am not able to find anything. Its as if the hotel doesn't want to be known for being haunted seemingly not wanting to scare people. I have seen a lot saying its haunted but really not any personal stories. Looking at the furniture I kind of got the same impression that you did but it still looks like a good place to stay.
JulieLivinLife I do remember the bed being so comfortable. And our room was absolutely huge with a really big deck. If I had thought about it at the time at all I would have probably found it gives the heebie jeebies

I heard 6 twice for how many Spirits were there. John "Steve are still here with us?" Spirit "No" Hahaha They're hanging out on the bed with Heather. John, spirits always want to speak with you because your so sweet and respectful.

Place has a very "Shining"-like vibe through the hallways and lobby.
It sounds like Chewie at times.
I use to go to Gatlinburg all the time with my parents on our summer vacation’s from Canada. We stayed at the holidome Holiday Inn, but it was getting too far to walk so we started staying at the Gatlinburg Inn. I thought it was beautiful but never experienced anything weird or I wouldn’t want to stay there.

Yes...I saw it as well. It was a shadow, that looks to be peeking out of the bathroom. You can see the shadow on the hotel door and then it goes back in the bathroom. I was hoping someone else caught it, like I did. Good eye @CindyD the fam Tenn.

Very interesting , I did not realize there were so many haunted places surrounding my area in Chattanooga TN. Amazing evidence... The chain on the door man that was freaky ... And the evps were so clear and frequent .. really an amazing video I enjoied this one very much keep up the awesome content... 💖💖

oh the pic @3:21 looks so much like the old farmhouses here in Bavaria, Germany...I was born and raised in Kentucky..The barns are attached to the homes here..So I find it odd .but cool..It comes from the old times..
That place is so cool...Love it...I would not change the decor for anything out of respect of the late owner....It's like a time capsule..I would be cool with the ghosts..Not all are evil...

I recommend the haunted Fitzpatrick Hotel in Washington, GA. I stayed there a couple of months ago and heard a couple of strange noises overnight. On the night we were there, there was only one other couple and no staff stayed overnight.

Three four year ago we stayed there and Lady said nobody has every sleep on 3rd floor
Gatlinburg, TN is Awesome. I loved it there...At 13:40 in...look at the door very closely. A shadow figure peeps out from the right side of the door & then back out/disappears. I am surprised that nobody saw, or even mentioned it. It was right when they were discussing about the bed moving tt. Even Exploration unknown didn't see it & didn't say anything about it in his vid! 👍💯

You should try Rocky waters motor lodge its haunted as well couldn't find a whole lot of history about it but something is definitely going on in that place I think its room 104 it's the room with the fireplace and hot tub keep up the great work my Tennessee brother

@@erinbricker-urbanhistorian5803 it was I'd love to find the history of this place the wife and I go to stay there 3 or 4 times a year because it's right beside the smokey mountain trout house the first place we ate as husband and wife it's only a couple hours away from our town and a lot of strange things happened to us there

Loving the Haunted Gatlinburg videos! You sure weren’t wrong about ppl visiting and falling in love and never wanting to leave lol, after our recent trip my kids were like “Can we just move here?” So that had me laughing. 🤣
At 31:41 there are three taps. At 31:55 there is a voice, close to the camera, making a moaning or whining noise, just after Jon says, "No man, I was out." At 31:59 a woman says, in a low, whispering like voice, "Help."

Also, I remember when I was a kid they had a guard named Paul who would check the floors at night and you could hear his keys rattling down the haul. Sometimes he would check the room doors by turning the knob. Maybe that's what you heard. Mrs. Maples fired him because he drank all the time and then rehired him when he quit drinking. I'm sure Mr. and Mrs. Maples come to visit because they both loved that place so very much

Jon I rea9 like how they kept everything old. I would love to see you do more old hotels. If you did investigate more old hotel's it would help you and the hotel bc it will draw more people like us fans to stay during a vacation or even a weekend getaway.

He said" shuss; try to say to them..." I've accidentally found this channel while I was putting my 23 month lil girl to sleep. She was fussy until they start talking. It was very strange... Me and my husband stayed there this past week. I dont see it being haunted. Im not saying it isnt, but we were there for 5 days and didnt see or hear anything as far as being haunted. The motel behind it is. Edgewater motel.
