@@TheLightBringerX I somehow doubt they brought in a crane or built a scaffolding/pully system to lift that tree back up into the exact position it was in before being cut. Not unless there was significant money to be gained. An athletic dog could easily chase a critter into hollow and get stuck.
There was probably a large hole in the tree from years of animals burrowing inside it. The dog found the hole and jumped in. Instead of calling the fire department, they decided to chop the tree down themselves. Dog is freed but probably after over a day since it got lost...who would guess that your dog got lost inside a tree?
Those loggers saved that dog from being the next Stuckie.

@@SamyasaSwi If they knew this dog was inside they would have risk to kill it with the chainsaw, so I doubt they knew it. Maybe the dog was there before the tree and the tree grew around the dog, and over time the dog was inside the tree
