I just installed this same bullguard on my 2023 4runner off-road premium and it blocks the sensor and shows up on the camera, but i did not get any problems or even warnings on the dashboard. Been riding for about 2 weeks with still no problems.
On installing the rivet, what size drill bit did you use and what size rivet? I've got same bull bar on mine and been looking to do this for a while. TIA!
IDK for sure about this one, our 4Runner doesn't have adaptive cruise control or any sensors on the front. I know Toyota says "any alteration may interfere" with the systems function. I would check the forums and see what bumpers people are getting to work. Sorry I'm not more help there
I'd imagine that if you know how to weld you can cut the top portion out and raise it so it goes over the sensor. That's what I'm going to try and see what happens
maybe soak them in some PB blaster or seafoam spray overnight? Do multiple applications of the both sides of the bolts. Then use a long arm 14mm with a cheater bar perhaps? The rubber mallet and the long arm 14mm seemed to work for me, but we don't have any road salt/corrosion like some areas do. It's so annoying that you just can't get any power tools on those
Tried that out but wasn’t doing it. Took a long torque wrench but was able to get her done. Getting the brackets screwed in was not fun but got it done lol
@@Chesapeake_revival_co OK! a long torque wrench, little by little I bet. Thanks for your comments, that's a good idea. People do read the comments because often they can glean more ideas or even better ideas than the video has. So I appreciate your feedback and for watching!

Compatible with 2010-2023 Toyota 4Runner (Excluding 14-23 Limited, 19-23 Nightshade &TRD Pro, 22-23 TRD Sport) |
You also could just used a license plate frame that you can get for $10 instead of drilling your new bull bar 🙂
Would have been nice to see how it looks installed.
I can't believe I left that out! I'm sorry
Search "Chrome delete 4 runner" And at the end you will find some clips of it. Again, sorry about that
@@anesthesiadreamin I looked at your other video, it looks good. Thanks! I'm thinking about getting one.

Does it block the radar in the front ??? If it does , do you think there's a way to fix it so it doesn't block it ?

Tried everything to get those 3 bolts off, nothing working. Any tips?

I’ve some people take off the whole bumper to put it on but that was too much for me 😂
@@Chesapeake_revival_co agreed, way to much drama
