@@kennystones6455 wrecking the cluster? Are you saying someone might make immo work again after doing this and regret the light not working? I doubt it. Even if the immo was turned back on or the engine computer was replaced and immobilizer made to work again the only problem would be the light wouldn't work. These are 20 year old cars, with not much value, this is why people consider immo delete rather than fixing the actual problem. Half the time when someone contacts me regarding immo delete I tell them it might be better to fix it and they argue, and we delete it anyway. see the following video. ruclips.net/video/-zQCk13Fh_I/видео.html
@@CoolAirVw you know what customers are like they think oh that looks easy then the next thing they have dug the dremel into the cluster too far and wrecked it yeah I agree they not worth much now but sometime ppl don’t have the money to fix them and try it them self’s then do more damage hence my comment black tape if your not confident with a dremel and no offence taken
Black tape best option use super33 will stay forever on the backside of the face material. Much better than causing a potential short or cutting a trace in that multilayer board.
@@CoolAirVw applying tape to the back side is not visible unless you take the cluster apart and look at the back of the faceplate. It’s totally not visible. I have used super 33 tape and it will stay in place. Less risky than possibly creating a short or open in the cluster.
@@rick601a Oh, sorry other comments said just put a piece of tape over it. You do you. I've done this dozens of times. If you don't have the ability then fine.
This video only shows how to disable the light from flashing. Ecu delete is a separate process, but if you read the comments just put some black tape over the light.

Hello, I need help with my Kia Ceed 1.4 petrol from 2008. The car starts perfectly and the keys are not wirelles. It's just irritating that the light is always ON while driving. thank you in advance :)
You either need to fix your immo problem or you can try a delete. There are communication problems that can cause this scenario, see my other videos, but if you cant fix it you can try delete.
yeah, I'm dead serious. Tape yours up. If anyone watching this video wants to tape it up feel free. If you want the light off after immo delete this video shows how. If there is another "better way", then post up your video showing how, or a link to the video showing how.
Black tape works perfect
that's an option too but doesn't make that good of a video! Thanks for posting, I think I'll pin this comment!
@@CoolAirVw just easier than someone copying what you did and wrecking their cluster 😉

I do appreciate your comments, its certainly worthwhile. Please dont take my paragraph above as being negative.

No dashlights , no problems ,customer is happy 🤣.Video about deleting immo would be interesting .
I have some! Look in the cards. Not much content in them, as they are just advertising my services, NOT showing people how to.

You do you. funny thing. Customers want their car to have resale value and taping over a warn light strangely has the opposite effect.

Thanks I got an immo delete on my wagon project and the light flashes. Pretty easy fix.
If you read the comments, black tape over the light is the recommended fix.
Why u don't use OBD scanner tool for adaptation for claster.
I opened it just as you did and filled that cavity where the immo off light is with presstick so when I sort this out for good there is no damage
interesting solution. Thanks for sharing.

No way to disable flashing immo light through VCDS?
No.
Not through vcds, unless coding out immo… never tried it.
But doing it proper way (immo off) immo light doesn’t flash.

the proper way"?
So how did you disable the immobilizer
